So it performs slower, but for the power comsumption the HD7950 is a better choice. Thanks Smiley

Ok I think I found the right config, it's T12x24

with the fans at 80% the card runs at 66°C, it's an Asus Poseidon, so I might watercool the card but im affraid the VRMs will just burn (the fan speed is based on the GPU temps, the VRMs will be hot and the GPU cool)

I'm running at around 600 Khash/s

I was planning to get a mining rig, as I'm running server VMs (8 in total) I thought it would be great to spend more money on GPUs than on processing power, as it's not overly-used servers.

Know any budget cards for this? I thought of a HD5850, but my father just got my old HD7950, maybe 3 HD5850 will process faster. I don't know.

Hi there!

I'm new to mining, i downloaded cudaminer 2014.02.28 and it works. At least thats what i thought...

Here's my hardware:

Asus GTX 780 Poseidon OC (GPU: 1175MHz, VRAM: 6200 MHz)
Intel Core I7 3770K (4.2GHz)
Asus Sabertooth Z77
(I don't think you need to know anything else)

I'm mining DogeCoins at the speed of (around) 170 khash/s. Isn't that slow given the card's performances?

here's a screenshot:

How can I make it hash faster?
