1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Buys and Scams on: April 18, 2015, 09:33:11 PM
Any others to watch out for like LXC and AeroME?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AM] AeroME - Decentralized Marketplace Exchange on: April 18, 2015, 09:29:22 PM
X1235 is mostly a troll. The thing is what he is posting is actually coming into fruition.

He could at least be more delicate about it, but I am starting to believe him.
The last couple of messages are true.

After the scammer KL left, he stopped posting and stopped using his sock puppet accounts to make it seem like there are actually more people interested in this when there really are not.

Maj keeps delaying and delaying. There was supposed to be a release in February, then it was delayed til March and March had nothing to show for. Then it got delayed again and the dev goes dark.

The dev can't meet his deadlines and that is bad. It causes investors to lose faith. Buy support has left. This thread is mostly dead as no one cares about AM. People are not interested anymore. Even if the dev releases, it won't matter. It just won't matter. There won't be epic price rises because no one will care. That is the state of things.

I am not saying the dev is a scammer, but that he misled us. The price will stay low and it won't go up. It's sad because every altcoin is out there to do one thing: take your BTC.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CRAVE 1st POS Masternodes | Dark Assets | Markets Soon =Embrace The Dark= on: April 13, 2015, 12:23:38 AM
Could this coin reach or exceed 2,000,000 satoshis?

I don't see how DASH is so expensive still.

Will CRAVE reach DASH price levels? Can profit still be made or is this coin dying after the big dump?

The air is going out of Dash since the hype of the name rally...Broke the Level that Otoh bought at 0.0145 and it looks like the next stop is 0.01 if the trend continues! In addition Dash has multiple issues that will weigh on the price! Personally I know some large Dash holders that are waiting for the next rally so they can unload and more slowly into this beast!
Robert Frost said two roads diverged in the woods an I choose the path less traveled by....
We shall see soon enough if "it makes all the difference"...

So, you're saying there is still some upside to it? Is that why the DASH price has steadily been dropping? Why did the pump and dump happen so quickly though? I thought it strange. Will there be another big pump to 2,000,000 satoshis or even beyond that? If so, this CRAVE is worth looking into. I just got out of the crappy AeroME and need to put some BTC into something else.

Been watching this coin. Is it worth putting some BTC in? Any chance it could rise again in price?

Do you have a lot of faith in the dev?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AM] AeroME - Decentralized Marketplace Exchange on: April 04, 2015, 05:46:08 PM
Fantastic organization and set up, Maj. You took some good measures in the build, very thorough which I like.

The next revolution is to build functionality upon the blockchain.

This is what AeroME is doing. I have a strong feeling about this. It is a fantastic coin compared to the crap that a lot of other developers are doing.

Finally, a coin with a highly skilled dev who has the skills to bring this BEAST forward. A lot of the other crap coins out there have some unskilled guy who ends up hiring some unskilled programmer to build a pump and dump scam coin. If you want proof of this, check out LXC.

AeroME, as I mentioned before, is going places and the only way it is doing that is with a skilled coder like Maj.

Maj, we know you are working hard and doing a good job of it.

Any chance you could leave your IDE for a moment to give us a quick update on things to date and perhaps a revised launch schedule?

i.e. approximately mid-April release, late-April release, early-May/June, etc?
We know how big of a project this is and us programmers also appreciate what you are going through.

Kudos.

One of the few trusted and reliable devs out there. He is the real deal. He has the programming experience to cover it. As a programmer myself, I realize that some powerful and profound projects can be delayed. But, good things come to those who wait.

At times, I would be up to 4 a.m. in the morning trying to work out the issues in a particular code block. It is hard, but it was my code and I was devoted to doing a good job. Maj is probably no less devoted and passionate about his code and the community as I am. I truly believe this coin is going places.

I am thinking positively for what's to come. Don't anyone be discouraged, the scammer is not the dev. I will be putting more in and accumulating more AM at these low prices.

Buy when there is blood in the streets.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin movies? on: March 08, 2015, 01:02:41 AM
There was an episode of The Simpsons where Krusty lost all his money in the "bitcoin market," if that counts.

I would recommend checking back in two years. You'll see more of it in pop culture soon enough.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: March 08, 2015, 01:01:20 AM
I managed a number of websites and earn from the advertising. A portion of the money earned in fiat are invested back into bitcoin, if that fits into your definition of growing your bitcoin. Also have been thinking of making another separate website that focuses specifically on crypto and then placing ads networks that pays in bitcoin

Not a bad idea.

A way to go about it is to generate income in the "real world."

Getting a job may be a way to go. Earn money in fiat and buy BTC.

Either that or be lucky enough to work for an employer who will pay you in BTC. It gives a tingly feeling like you are looking into the future.
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: TV Series Recommendations... on: March 08, 2015, 12:59:31 AM
^^^How is BCS?

How would you compare it with Breaking Bad?

I would love to check it out.

The Walking Dead is still a favourite.

There was another one that seemed low budget, but it was still loads of fun. Z-Nation. It seems like crap, but it was loads of fun. Definitely recommended.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would you do if you can have all the bitcoins you want? on: March 08, 2015, 12:56:20 AM
New car. Definitely get styling in some new wheels. I would upgrade my abode also.

After that, the world would be most oyster. Could you imagine all the fun you could have with virtually infinite money?
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin and Altcoin price related? on: February 20, 2015, 07:02:21 PM
The two are usually correlated to some extent. As more money moves  into Bitcoin, no doubt, some of the BTC will flow into altcoins. The reverse is also true. However, when there is big news for altcoins and bad news for Bitcoins, you will see a drop in BTC price and a rise in altcoin price. At moments like these, the effect is stronger than the normal levels because the drop in BTC price may increase the buy pressure and increase the number of BTC in the hands of investors. When this happens, you find an overwhelming rising in some altcoin prices. This demonstrates the whole greater than the sum of its parts.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, How Long Will It Last? on: February 20, 2015, 07:00:07 PM
The price will probably drop for a few years. It will be a good time to accumulate, then it will rise and rise and rise. The duration will be many years, and Bitcoin will last for many more years beyond that. It will hold its own because of the inherent value that it brings. That is the important part that accounts for its longevity.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Ban in Hong-Kong on: February 20, 2015, 06:58:58 PM
If it hasn't already, it probably won't. Given the current regulatory climate there, there is no reason why it would be banned. It has the information given on the blockchain and it is not really anonymous, so that would not be likely.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Andreas Antonopoulos said Give Bitcoin Two Years on: February 20, 2015, 06:55:49 PM
I think that two years is a little bold. It will take more years than that for mass adoption. It still has to break free from all the negativity from the early years. Then people have to trust it more than gold and cold hard cash and that won't be easy to come by, at least not straight away. I feel even 5-7 years may be needed. Regardless, we are still early adopters.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AM] AeroME - Decentralized Marketplace Exchange on: February 14, 2015, 09:18:08 PM
So, March is the deadline? That would mean that development is close and the full platform will be released. The best thing in the world can still fall on its face without good marketing. Word needs to get out, if indeed this coin is going to be as powerful and wonderful as everyone is saying it is.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google Pay to integrate Bitcoin? on: February 14, 2015, 09:07:02 PM
That would be great and amazing news. The anonymity thing may be an issue, but people have migrated to DRK and others.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AM] AeroME - Decentralized Marketplace Exchange on: February 14, 2015, 08:57:30 PM
I am looking for revolutionary coins, coins that develop new technologies on the blockchain. These are the wave of the future. If this coin has it, there is no telling how high it will go. LXC had promises, then the developer disappeared. Is AeroME's developer trustworthy?
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AM] AeroME - Decentralized Marketplace Exchange on: February 14, 2015, 08:30:08 PM
Price had gone up a wee bit. The buy support is still very thin.

Any chance this will shoot up to 100,000 satoshis or 500,000 satoshis? There are a lot of shyt coins that are priced that high. If this coin has what it takes, that should be no trouble, should it?
