1  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying 20 BTC via Paypal - $5.60/BTC on: May 30, 2012, 05:36:58 PM
agghh, I'm sorry you guys. Paypal is holding all of the funds of my recent transactions and is requesting that I provide identification.
I'm going to have this resolved as quickly as I can.

They couldn't have associated the transactions with BTC though. I never mentioned that in any of my transactions.
2  Bitcoin / Mining support / How to begin mining from a VPS terminal? on: May 30, 2012, 09:13:17 AM
I purchased a VPS and have permission to use it to mine.

I'm just wondering if there's a guide out there that shows how to begin mining from a VPS terminal. I'm logged in via Putty.
I know I can simply install a desktop and mine, but would rather not. The desktop requires a minimum of 300mb ram. I'd rather put that processing power to good use.

If anyone has experience with this or knows how to do this, I would appreciate any help!

Thanks!

6  Economy / Currency exchange / Buying 20 BTC via Paypal - $5.60/BTC on: May 29, 2012, 06:53:23 PM
I'm in the need of another 20 BTC, and I'm wondering if anyone would be alright with selling me a few for Paypal USD at a rate of $5.60/BTC.

I successfully purchased my first 20 BTC using Paypal just yesterday, so again, I am completely willing to pay first given that you are a reputable member.

We can talk over Skype or over PMs. Let me know what you prefer, it's up to you.

Thanks!

I highly suggest just making up some other note. More creative reasons I've seen are "Thanks for the help on implementing a payment system into my website!"

That actually sounds pretty good! Thanks, I'll do just that.
Unfortunately, no one is interested in trading... am I paying too little?

16  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying 20 BTC via Paypal - $5.30/BTC on: May 28, 2012, 08:48:13 AM
Are you gifting it?

Yes, along with a note to verify that I'm purchasing virtual goods.

If it's a gift you can't say you are purchasing something or else you'll get both yours and the receiver accounts frozen for trying to bypass paypal instituted fees.

Oh alright. It's been working without any when I purchase other virtual goods though.

18  Economy / Currency exchange / [Done!] Buying 20 BTC via Paypal - $5.30/BTC on: May 28, 2012, 03:16:42 AM
I'm in the need of 20 BTC and will be paying via Paypal USD. Given that you are decently reputable, I will go first.

Thank you.

edit: We are finished! Thanks OgNasty & AncientX!
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Blockchain.app on Cydia working on 5.1.1+Absinthe? on: May 26, 2012, 10:30:17 PM
Cydia seems to be working better today, only had 1 download error for every 10 downloads. It was most likely overloaded with all the new users.
Blockchain just crashes on launch for me. IOS 5.1.1 Iphone 4S with absinthe.

But so far the newest version of absinthe seems perfect, I'm going to JB my Ipad 3 today also.

Alright, I'll take your word for it. Time to jailbreak!
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Blockchain.app on Cydia working on 5.1.1+Absinthe? on: May 26, 2012, 07:41:11 PM
Yea I haven't been able to download anything from cydia with the new jailbreak. But you gotta remember most people with iphone 4s and ipad 3 weren't able to jailbreak yet so I'm sure cydia is slammed!

Which iDevice are you using?
I was planning to jailbreak my iPad 2 with the new Absinthe, but if people are having problems, such as not even being able to download from Cydia, I may reconsider.
