1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dead or Dying former top 10 coins on: February 14, 2015, 06:03:32 PM
@picolo i had a dream about that type of coin last night. the "Fibonacci coin" instead of a social security number you get your first private key. you get one coin at birth and it doubles every year for 18-21 years. that way when they are of age they can buy a house or invest in a business, or go to school. the coin production would not be infinite. The coin would be created with 10x current population cap on creation. it would be pre-mined at 5 coins per adult on earth now. there would not be any speculation the coin would have to have a set price upon creation. I would say 500k. 100k per coin. I am just guessing right now.

First and air drop delivery of a raspberry pi, then education on how to use it and how to mine. then the delivery of the coins. Right now everyone is so caught up on profits the real purpose of the coin is getting lost in the mix. i would hate for any cryptocoin to turn into the Dollar. We need to eliminate the profit based economy. there are people that have the ability to do this.the RPI manufacturer might be willing to do a large donation of devices. of course this is a dream though. Sadly no one would make that type of large donation.

if anyone agrees and wants to help me develop this coin and market it that would be great I am against verichip at birth or ever. i don't want or deserve to be tracked like a cat or dog.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin better had not go below $50 on: February 09, 2015, 06:06:18 PM
I have bought a bit at $150. I still want it to go lower. The technology has finally reached the poor neighborhood that i live in and i hope it goes lower so that the people around me can get in on the train going away from dependency. i see bitcoin as a means of redistribution of wealth. i was in germany when the mark changed to the Euro. SO much money lost. Although i could just as easily find another coin but then we have to work to get that coin accepted by all merchants as well. which is why i love the register.
3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The coming EMP attack is sure to take Bitcoin down. on: January 14, 2015, 06:26:10 PM
ok SO let me bring this back as a serious topic. I am not hoping or saying that the Chinese are even considering an EMP attack as i have read in the various forums and articles, BUT what is being done to safe guard against a possible long term power grid failure. we all know tat the power grid infrastructure is fragile. power outages happen all the time. What do we do is there is one that lasts a week? I am all for crypto-currencies. I think decentralization is the way this world needs to go. paper wallets are a great back up I just hope and pray that you don't put them all in one wallet. i plan to make my own denominational backups. Solar flares have been well documented as disrupting the primitive power grids of the past. We have not done much to change it to protect from another large EMP producing solar flare. i am suggesting paper wallets and taking a step away from the main grid. if we are going to truely embrace this new technology and this decentralized way of thinking and way of life we must put safe gaurds in place. the gov't doesn't like it what is to stop them from shutting of the powers to continue on wit their fiat. Pull your heads out of your butts and be true forward thinkers. they would have no trouble throughing america into the 3rd world to force us to stick with the old ways.
