1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is pirate chain a scam? on: August 09, 2021, 12:46:59 PM
The pirate coin arrr is it a scam?

Well, according to the coinmarketcap it is not scam, this is just based on my opinion, as long as there is a cycle moving volume in the market everyday, does not enough to say it is a scam, that's the reality things happen now dude. If this is scam, surely none of the community will support it but why they're many of them?
Coinmarketcap does not offer scam detective services they are a exchange if people are buying or selling it that does not mean it is not a scam or is not going to turn into a scam.
2  Economy / Services / Re: Danny's E-Screw Service - (First ones will be free just to get some rep) on: December 02, 2017, 01:22:37 PM
Okay. i'm done.
not coming back in this section until i'm super legendary hero
you guys should understand that everyone was newbie somewhen
and they became an hero or smth.
it means when they was newbies they scammed and when they ranked up
they because legit?
NO THEY WERE LEGIT THE WHOLE TIME.
but im still getting out of this section cuz you just trashing my post.

It's true but offering escrows isn't the way to step into the community to build rep you need to be providing other services which can be escrowed by more trustworthy members and build up a rep that way.
3  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Which online wallet for bitcoin is safer? on: December 02, 2017, 01:18:31 PM
You need to tell your friend to wise up if he want's to use a online wallet. A lot of the online wallets won't allow you to know your private key so if the website ever goes down through DDOS or other attacks then you won't be able to access your Bitcoin.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS THERE A WAY TO KEEP BITCOIN FROM GOVERNMENTAL CONTROL? on: December 02, 2017, 01:13:59 PM
The way Bitcoin is made it prevents any central authority from controlling the currency and that's why it's so popular among the public.
5  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Sacmmer in localbitcoins on: December 02, 2017, 12:45:31 PM
Only deal with those on localbitcoins with good reviews and if you can you can meet them locally with a friend and do the deal face to face if identity isn't a problem for you.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it smart to max out all credit cards months to buy BTC? on: December 02, 2017, 12:13:29 PM
That's just real stupid and could run you into trouble and most likely will dont do this only buy what you can afford.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use Social Media for Bitcoin on: December 02, 2017, 11:59:31 AM
I'm not sure if social media and Bitcoin really combine due to Bitcoin being anonymous and social media being on the other end of the spectrum.
8  Economy / Gambling / Re: An idea for a fair new gambling site. on: December 02, 2017, 11:17:40 AM
I don't have anything against your idea, and I will just leave you with some thoughts that occurred me. First, what you are describing is just another form of lottery, but with better odds of wining something. Nothing wrong there, and sometimes the simple things work best. I do think that 10% as house profit is just to much. You need to think about scalability. Sites that charge commission and always win no matter what they do (casinos, poker sites, lotteries) normally don't charge commissions that big, because they don't have to, since they will have a great profit in the long term, no matter what.

I think that 5% commission is more than reasonable, and even there, it's a bit on the large side. Finally, although the house doesn't need to cheat, it's important that the draw is fair (otherwise the house could just put some payments on the address, and make sure they win), so yes making it provably fair would be very important.

in the past the gambling sites which have done lotteries haven't been all that successful either. I think a lot of people even though it's provably fair are skeptical about it.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you trust bitcoin over banks and love bitcoins, more and more? on: October 28, 2017, 07:43:52 PM
Because I control my Bitcoin where as banks control my fiat.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin wallet be hacked by hackers? on: October 12, 2017, 09:29:19 PM
At this moment I think it is possible.Because Bitcoin Wallet is not using any strong security.Although we see that Bitcoin uses only the BlackBerry technology in the transaction. However, it is applicable only for transactions.Although we see some wallets such as mobile verification procedures being done in Coinbase.Nevertheless, I think it's no different for professional hackers.

What are you talking about bitcoin is very secure encryption. It's the password which is the weak part. if you have a good password then it would literally take forever to crack a password via brute forcing.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC passes $5,000 USD milestone on: October 12, 2017, 08:43:15 PM
I am very happy to see the price of Bitcoin.I am hopeful that in one week Bitcoin will be worth $6000.I believe Bitcoin will change my life and changing the world

1 week? Very much doubt that since the hard fork will only be a few days away by then. I expect it to dibble and dabble around its current value until then

14  Other / Off-topic / Re: Precautions to take just in case email goes down on: May 27, 2015, 03:50:29 PM
I've used mail2tor for a long time and they've been attacked many of times and even brought down but they always seem too pop up again after a while. I use them just because of how they work.

18  Other / Beginners & Help / Anyway to put price ticker in signature? on: January 21, 2015, 07:20:16 PM
That updates every few seconds or everytime someone refreshes the page would be cool if I could post on this forum and could see the price on one page and it would look regardless.

20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anyway to learn whilst you earn? on: January 16, 2015, 10:56:33 AM
Coinlearn is good for you have to take your time reading because i was finished reading all of it completely and I put in the answer and it said you haven't spent enough time on this module or something. I took about two minutes to read it all and waited until five minutes just to be sure.
