1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The First Litecoin PPS Pool (litecoinpool.org) on: May 12, 2015, 06:40:00 PM
With 1.++Mh/s you will not find a block, your probability is like 14% likely to find one in 365 days seeing as pools now are in 97,480 MH/s. Is your cgminer saying accepted work or what. can I see ascreenshot?!
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The First Litecoin PPS Pool (litecoinpool.org) on: May 09, 2015, 10:53:42 PM
So, I have a gawminer fury (not great I know) I was given it by a friend who is having a clear out and I almost gave up on mining. I would like to know as it is scrypt what could I mine with it. I cannot find any doge pools out there that I could use with cgminer and my gawminer, do you know of any active low networ hash for scrypt?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / What would I actually need to start mining scrypt-jane coins on: March 06, 2015, 11:23:53 PM
Do I need a gpu computer or can I get a graphics card hook it up somehow to my cpu laptop and do it that way. I would like to start mining it as it is probably the closest thing to a profit you can make with scrypt. I have a gridseed 5 chip wold that do it? Could you help me by telling me fully what and where to get what i need please?
4  Bitcoin / Mining support / cggminer not running properly with asic block erupters? on: March 04, 2015, 10:03:34 PM
OK so I have a usb block erupter and downloaded cg miner v3.2.1 extracted it created a bat file and named it Startmining.bat so it would save as a .bat.

EDIT: I have MultiMiner but that is bringing up 10mh/s average even though it says 336mh/s when bought could you explain this?

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: gridseed dual miner serious help needed on: February 16, 2015, 01:23:32 PM
Miner closing immediately after start usually means that you set a wrong parameter.

Alternative solution (I guess you are on windows):

Get this miner
http://cryptomining-blog.com/2186-new-cpuminer-for-gridseed-asics-with-text-user-interface-available/

Command line:

minerd.exe --freq=850 --gc3355-detect --url=stratum+tcp://POOL:PORT --userpass=LOGIN.WORKER:PASSWORD
pause

Assuming that you installed the USB drivers correctly.

Thank you I will try that out!

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Looking for a start up rig in the UK on: January 17, 2015, 06:19:31 PM
So I know nothing of rigs and parts and stuff but I have done some research on what these coins are. I have not got the money for BTC so it is either Litecoin or Dogecoin for me. Is there a way you could build me parts on this site if its there? http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/

What is the profitability from using the cheap rigs to coins itself?

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Need help with memorycoin please? on: January 16, 2015, 01:36:52 PM
First off sorry if this is in the wrong place first time posting.

So I am new to this whole mining thing and need some help other than reading non noob tuts.

I have this https://i.imgur.com/PUEcuSj.png and https://i.imgur.com/RXYcme9.png and it has been like that for about 6 hours and it is not moving or doing the blocks. so I cannot sync and start mining memorycoin.

I have my receive address and a cpu miner but when i try to start mining it says please reconnect in 46 seconds. Do I need to wait for that to catch up before doing it or is thee another way.

This is the software I have to do it so if any of this helps please could you help me https://i.imgur.com/klwVeXq.png
