So what is the point in mining??

Surely theres a rig that can be built that could pay for itself and earn real money?

Isnt there???

Hi

7  Other / Beginners & Help / 10 Rigs on: September 07, 2011, 11:22:29 PM
Hi

If i had 10 rigs, each with 1 x 6790 or HD 5790 GPU running only to produce Bitcoins and was paying £0.12 per KW/h for my electric, would it be a worthwhile endevour.

The rigs should cost around £300.00 each.
How long will it take to make 50BTC's as a sole miner or how many Bitcoins could i make per day, per rig, in a pool.

I want to make money by producing the Bit coins and trading them on Bitmarket, Athe the moment their worth £5.50 and ideally  want

Any advise??

Hi

Thanks Very Much....

Im Mining......I think.....

At the bottom of GUIMining it says 'Shares : 0 aceppted                      350(ish) khash/s

I know thats slo but im just sticking my toe in for now.

My problem is when i go on BTCGuild and look under Management-Account, my 'worker summery' stats read 0.00 MHASH/s.
Infact everything reads 0.00.

Am i connected?
Am i Mining?

Any advise please

Many Thanks

Hi

Im a very Newbee so forgive my stupidity..

I have the problem 'Problem Communicating with Bitcoin RPC 02   12   22'
when i try to start mining using GUIMiner v2011-08-24, Bitcoin0.3.21, BTCGuild, Windows XP 32 bit and ATI Stream v 2.3 32bit.

From reading all the posts on the problem i have, it appears i need to update my Bitcoin.conf. and either add my 'usr name' and 'pwd' and the 'IP address' of BTCGuild, or allow the Bitcoin.conf file to access and use BTCGuild....I think im right....Perhaps you could confirm these 2 ideas.

My problem is i cant find Bitcoin.conf and dont know how or if i need to create it.

PPLLEEAASSE help a newbee
