I think it will take a revamp to the wallet system and transfers (alongside stabilization) before more businesses will adopt BTC and further stabilize it. It can take an hour or more before a transaction is 'confirmed' and the receiver has those BTC freed up to use.

Hmm...I'll hedge my bets and see if they drop further tomorrow. BTC always seem to drop on weekends...has there been a conclusive answer as to why this is the case?

Sounds interesting. May be a dumb idea but how about a tool for encrypted P2P communication attached to your Bitcoin wallet so you can encrypt messages and send them to other users' wallets? It could make dealings with strangers a lot safer. A combined BTC and GPG, I guess.

Looks awesome and I'm looking forward to the result. How much did the test models end up costing you? I've been looking for a company to make some brass models of some figures (I dabble in being an artist in my free time) but they all seem to want a minimum run.

Honestly, as long as things like Silk Road exist there will always be a market for a completely anonymous currency if only as a means of transfer of funds.
Bitcoin's anonymity will eventually collide with the trustworthiness needed to make something like what you've proposed work.
