I have some problems with the wallet. i downloaded the wallet and it says out of sync and 0 active connections, even though i am connected to the internet. how can i fix this?
Be patient while your wallet finds connections usually is the fix. I helped someone with their wallet just yesterday and it took almost an hour to find the first connection. Poor internet bandwidth was likely the culpret as they had many wallets and active programs hogging available bandwidth. You can try to speed this up also: From the debug console, issue "addnode seed1.sterlingcoin.org.uk add" You can do this for seed2.sterlingcoin.org.uk also. The OP has additional public seeds community members have provided also. You may want to review that info. I hope this helps!  tried to add node but it gave me this error "Method not found (code -32601)" My bad. Edit your sterlingcoin.conf file and add this new line: "addnode=seed1.sterlingcoin.org.uk" Save the config file and close and open your wallet so that it reads the new config file. sorry, i don't know a lot about this but where can i find the sterlingcoin.conf file? also let it connect for the night but still no active connections. Check your firewall settings, it may be getting blocked. sorry for the hassle, i still have the problem, can we talk this in the irc? edit: nevermind, it started syncing after i created the .conf file myself and added the nodes |

Prior to releasing the wallets we saw a large International appeal online, North Americans were associating the currency with Silver and whether we had pegged the price against the price of Silver or not (something which continues to be discussed by North American community members).
i do not know much about pegging, but would it be theoretically possible to do something like that? |

Cool roadmap! intersted how you will approach the app store with a wallet in april, for some reason i don't see alot of wallets for altcoins there?
We will submit to Apple and hope for addition. But we will build the wallet and provide it as a download. Also building an additional API based wallet controlling your sterlingcoinapi wallet seems the easiest route to go to get Apple to allow it on to the App Store. http://sterlingcoinapi.org.uk/apiwikiNice, will it be like breadwallet or Chain inc wallet, both are open source i think? |

i tried searching for my address at your transaction explorer but it gave me Oops! Address not found. is this a problem?
also, how often is the Rich List updated?

No we know of this and we are currently just concentrating on the multipool then coming back to the address search and richlist. Currently we have to manually refresh the richlist and the address search just needs a fix which Matthew will do once he is done launching the Cystum Multipool An alternative - https://comkort.com/blockexplorer/slgNice quick response! maybe meanwhile you could put this explorer on the OP so people are able to find it easier? |
