If you like to take the risk , I recommend sports betting , it is very pofitable , and you can double your money during one month , because the Rio Olympiad is coming soon , and there are many sports and many matches to bet on , you can try betting with small amount in the begining , then you make it bigger ....
op is talking about investing his money, and not gambling it away. gambling is just based on luck, and thus it can be as profitable as you ending up with zero cent. it's 50/50. if you really want to make your money grow, then stick to buying bitcoin, and stay far away from gambling. Indeed, buying and holding is a good strategy. Additionally, you can split purchases and invest your future earnings by means of dollar cost averaging. This way, you do not run the risk of buying at the top.

In the light of the current discussion on helicopter money, with known inflation consequences, it could be that bitcoins become the much more popular. With high inflation, as people start fleeing towards a safe currency which could be the bitcoin.

If Greece leaves the Euro zone, that would make the Euro stronger, and that may happen.
if greece leaves, spain, italy, germany, the uk ... will all follow and the euro will become weaker for sure. The euro is done after greece leaves, domino effect will ensue. Bricks will be shat.

Let's see the LakeBTC's graceful charts, during this period when drop $2 per rise $1 ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) How do you keep the profit? If cant, how do you stop loss? please share your strategy with me, thanks! ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FZkMo9ZC.png&t=663&c=s-dlgPyX8Wz6Rg) I feel very sad again when see the screenshot just less than half a year ago the bitcoin price is double than now, but i bought half a bag bitcoin that time. I guess all we can do is sit and wait until the next (financial) crisis hits. Consider bitcoin an OTM put option ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) .

Hello!
I would love to have an application - kind of like a bittorrent client - that would automatically rebalance a portfolio with a number of cryptocurrencies. I would like to be able to choose which currencies I want and also to choose the desired ratio between them.
Is there such an application out there already? If not, would it be possible to create one, maybe using the ethereum platform?
I guess you could easily do this by using a conventional spreadsheet program (something like Microsoft Excel on Windows, or LibreOffice Calc on Linux). By the way, how are you going to shuffle your cryptocurrency assets, some portfolio theory? Any Harry Markowitz here? ēnd. Would be interesting to know. I currently add to my existing positions using a "value averaging approach" (see VA). However, so far the weights I use are equal-weight. I would like to opt for something more sophisticated ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) .

EUR/USD=1.00 in 2015. IMHO
No, financial forecasts are consistent. Dollar will soon reach higher price. It will be more like 1.3 EURO = 1 USD soon. Just wait and see. It is good time to buy some $$ now. First wait and let it climb to parity

An active IPO market is a precursor to a bull market...
I think it's more an indication of the end of a bull market.

I've been reading up on Bogleheads on value averaging and dollar cost averaging (see DCA or VA). I'm tired of trying to time peaks and throughs ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) . Some comments from people using these (or other?) more long-term approaches to investing in bitcoin ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) . Much appreciated!

By the time all the legal work is done, the 'hype' will be over. Doubt they'll ever make any profit on it ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) .
