1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Experiment 10k | HARD FORK TO SLOW DOWN INFLATION | UPDATE IMMEDIATELY on: March 11, 2015, 04:40:20 PM

umm I doubt u will earn a stake with less than 50k coins  look at your weight u need millions in weight right now

According to the dev any number of coins will stake successfully, and he even said there's no need to increase the stake-life upwards from 16 days to allow for this with the increased network weight.  He even specifically points out that gorillastake wallets start with 50 coins to demonstrate staking before the user adds more.  If 50 can stake, surely 550 can.  If not, the dev needs to stop posting such claims.

And obviously, it can stake.  It has before, and supposedly my weight does not go down from an orphan.  If I had enough weight to stake the orphan, how can I possibly not have enough weight to restake its replacement?

When you orphan, do you lose weight?

No, it will stake shortly after for a higher amount if it takes too long

How exactly do you figure out what "shortly" should be?  I have an orphan that's been waiting longer for a higher re-stake than it took to get the orphan in the first place, and I can't figure out how that's really logical if I didn't lose any weight.

Another day more and my wallet still looks just like this.  FIVE days now waiting on an orphan to restake.  What the hell gives here?

Additional to my question about the long delay in the above restaking, does anyone know what happens if the 16 day mark is hit while waiting on this orphan to restake?  My time to next stake estimate has skyrocketed up to 7 days, which if that turns out to be accurate will put me past the 16 day staking cycle life.

Still no explanation for the anomalies on the multipool?

You say shifts run per day and end at the end of the day in which 50 blocks are confirmed, yet SHA256 is pushing 1000 confirmed blocks and the shift has gone into yet another new day without ending.

You say mining rewards trade the day after the shift ends, then pay by the next day.  Yet the last SHA256 shift to end (back on Feb 27) is STILL in trading 4 days later.

And I still have shares that were mined more than 48 hours ago and are still waiting for confirmation, despite the fact that the blocks that those shares were mined in were confirmed at least 24 hours ago.

Yes, was going to post about that today anyway.

One of the SHA256 coins that the pool minds can't be sold at the moment because Cryptsy has had the coin in "maintenance" for the past 5 days, and there is no other exchange to sell it on.  The pool has mined a fair amount (~0.0113628 BTC worth) which would buy alot of 10K.  So I am waiting another day hoping that they get their shit together. If not, then I'll have to sit down and do alot of math to make sure everyone get's their fair share once Cryptsy brings deposits back.

Thank you for the update.

10k disabled at bittrex

Does somebody knows why Huh

They're both working for me.  I think their search function is broke and isn't pulling them up, but if you go directly to the pages they're still there and taking orders.

Shift data will appear when you have been apart of a completed shift (that has gone into "Trading").  Shifts close every 24 hours if 50 blocks for that algo have been found.  If 50 blocks have not been found, the shift remains open for another 24 hr period until at least 50 blocks have been found.

So SHA256 has more than 600 blocks, but it has apparently started a new 24-hour period without ending the shift.  How is 600 somehow less than 50?

Additionally, why have all the unconfirmed shares not confirmed now that the pool is up again?  Those shares are 24 hours old now, but still show as unconfirmed.

Now 16 days since I pointed my miner to the multipool for a full day - you know, that multipool that the dev says pays out once daily.  And it's now 14 days since I asked about the payout and was told the payouts would be run.  And STILL NO PAYOUT.

I'm beginning the process of clearing out my wallet (which stakes nicely, btw) and moving the coins I've been buying back to the exchanges to get rid of them.

If the dev is going to use the multipool to scam people, I want no part of anything to do with this coin and I'll be adding it to the threads on the various forums that track such scams.

give him some time. he's reassessing the roadmap.

Then when the decision was made that they were going to stop mining payouts during this reassessment, the pool should have been shut off.  To keep it running and keep taking people's hashing power after apparently deciding that they were going to stop making payouts is simply not acceptable.  Sorry to put it that way, but that's just how I see it.  And I think it's a shame because otherwise I was really impressed, but in the end an entire chain is only as strong as its single weakest link.

I don't think decision has been made as yet in regards to the mining pool. I am sure Dev will respond to your query.

I'm not talking about any kind of a permanent decision.  The dev posted in this thread that pool payouts are made daily.  After receiving no payout for mining more than two weeks ago, I posted about it and was told by the dev that he didn't notice that anyone had been mining SHA so he hadn't run the payouts for it - and that he would run them.  That was two weeks ago, but there has still been no payout.  Clearly, despite saying the payouts would be run, he then decided not to run them.  In the meantime, another user asked about the payouts also - and that user was just ignored and got no response at all.  The pool is still up and accepting miners, yet the dev obviously knows that he's not running the payouts.  That's where I have a problem with it.  He knows he's not running the payouts, yet he still has the pool up.  He should have shut the pool down the very minute he decided (this is the decision I'm talking about) that he couldn't be bothered to run the payouts - otherwise he's just scamming people.

A bit curious about your multipool payouts.  I saw only one mention of it, where you state it pays once per day.  I shifted some of my sha256 power to the pool almost 48 hours ago and mined (terracoin) for 24 straight hours.  No payout yet.

I'll manually run the payouts later, I thought i was the only one mining for the last few days so i didn't bother.

10 days later and still no payout from the mining pool?
