We've changed the expiration after 10 deposits rule to 24 hours. Hopefully whoever made "expiration rule sucks" will be happy.
yeah sorry about that, that was me, I was just frustrated after it wouldn't let me do a 24h/1% decay round since rip_bitponzi was so successful I wanted to make another one with similar settings. feel free to change the name of that round if you want to Heh, I didn't change it, it's OK. edit: Want a 1 BTC freeroll? nobody's taken it today. sure, if you want just change the name of "expiration rule sucks" to fireball500's freeroll or what have you and tack it on there thanks

Since all rounds have expired and been paid out, I've decided to just shut down the site, at least temporarily. I just don't have time to deal with all this anymore. When I put it up, I thought that it'd have a week or 2 of maintenance and then things would run smoothly, but so far its just been a constant pain.
I'm sorry to hear this, it sucks that 1 retard who thinks he's a "haxzor" can ruin this for everyone Also, when my round ended bitponzi double paid me, so what address would you like your 2.43 sent back to? Please just use the one in my sig. btc sent thanks for all the good times, and hopefully we'll see BitPonzi come back in the near future

I agree with ama, advertising in this thread is a sleazy tactic
I also find it interesting that bitponzi got DDoSed right around the time your site went public...

Mini_Ponzi_2 is up! http://old.bitponzi.net/Round_Mini_Ponzi_2.aspxsame deal as before, every time my deposit gets paid I reinvest the max (1btc in this case) the original Mini_Ponzi worked out fairly well, but I've adjusted this one to 15/15 so more people get paid out, and I'm offering a bonus jackpot of 0.1btc each to the unfortunate 2 which will grow if the round becomes successful (or if anyone wants to donate to the bonus jackpot 15eedGvRYp9GmcXxmjbmm9BpTH4BvPP98S post here or pm so I know that its for the bonus) if this round is successful expect to see bigger ones in the future well Mini_Ponzi_2 was pretty disappointing I don't even get to pay out the bonus jackpot cuz I was the only loser haha would there be more interest in this style round if the min/max deposits were higher? I was thinking a 1/10 round would be interesting, but my wallet is hurting after some unwise investments so a .5/5 round is probably what would happen next.

The Forever Game Hello everybody. The Forever Game has finally ended . It did last forever though (at least in Ponzi terms) and had a jackpot of 5.7 BTC. As promised I have sent 1/2 a coin each to the addresses of the second to last deposit and the first unpaid deposit. To be precise, I sent 0.500123 just so you know it's from me . Would be good if you could post here or pm me when you get it. Seems like most people got paid out, so I plan to run another Forever Game. Since my last promise was quite costly (relative to my small wallet anyway), this time I will pay the same two unfortunate positions 0.1 coins each for every coin I profit, if any, (with a minimum payment of 0.1). I will reinvest most of my payouts again too. The forum has been pretty quite last few days, so an expression of interest here or by pm would be good. Depending on response, I will start the round at 11 pm official server time, either today or tomorrow. Will post beforehand, but if it is as successful as the last one it doesn't really matter since you will probably get paid anyway. Good luck . Let's hope this kicks BitPonzi back to life! got my .500123, thanks! I was bummed when it ended, I was away from my wallet and all I could do was hope someone would bump it so I'm in if you make another one

i believe you can re-use the deposit address, but i am not sure.
my bot grabs a new one very time just to be safe.
each address is only valid for one deposit... I almost learned that the hard way, but mb300sd is super cool and gave me a one time refund

Hey everyone. I'm sure everyone is as sad as me at the lack of a Forever Game . Obviously the Daily Massive games are king for jackpots and great fun, but for most of us they are rarely profitable so I propose to bring back the Forever Game. There has been one already on the new site and it got 18 deposits, not bad but nothing compared to the one on bitcoinduit (anyone remember how many that was?) Anyways, I will tweak the numbers very slightly so that it is more likely than before to pay out whilst keeping a decent jackpot. I'll also slightly widen the allowed deposit range to enable more people to play. I just want to get an idea of interest, since I'll look silly if I start it and it doesn't even last a day let alone forever! So please pm or post here if you are interested in a Forever Game, no need for pledges just want an idea. To generate some interest I have no intention of profiting from this game (if that makes you feel sorry for me, my donations address is in my sig ), so if it reaches 25 deposits I will take a leaf out of sohcahtoas book and pledge to pay half a coin each to the second to last address and the first unpaid deposit, when the round ends. I will reinvest most of any returns I get, at least until things get moving since I want as many people as possible to get paid, perhaps we can arrange some sort of prize for 50th deposit etc. but I suppose I'm getting ahead of myself! Anyways, hope everyone will join in, if I get a bit of interest in the next few hours I will start a new game that will hopefully last (almost) forever. I'm in. me too

I'm going all-in. Just before Bitcoinduit was terminated, I lost the majority of my BTC in a ponzi that I really expected to win. All I have left is about 0.5 BTC invested in BTCOnTilt (Which I will gamble away), plus a little over 0.14 in my wallet. So, I think I'm done with Bitcoins. I'm going to stop mining (My GeForce 460 only pulled 60 MH/s anyways), and I'm throwing my last few bitpennies into this final ponzi, Sohcahtoa's ALL IN. Every time I get paid, I guarantee I will re-invest 0.1 BTC of the winnings. After the ponzi ends, I will split whatever money I have left equally between the second to last person to deposit and the first unpaid deposit. For example, if persons A, B, and C got paid, D, E, F, and G didn't, and H got the jackpot, then I will split the money between D and G. Remember, I'm only re-investing 0.1 BTC each time I get paid, and the ROI is 25%. That means that this second jackpot will grow by 0.025 BTC each time I get paid. Time for me to pay out! I got paid back three times, once for 0.1854012, and twice for 0.125. Subtract out my three re-investments totaling 0.3 and I had 0.06854012 total. I earned another payment from my mining for 0.10175973, plus the payment for the remaining pot and fees totaling 0.40545705. Add the three together and the bonus jackpot totals 0.5757569. Split this in two and each person gets 0.28787845, minus the 0.0005 transaction fee. Grats to 1P1kXx4T4p1kXLknVojv8pnaHDpaESgh25 and 1MLM1agdzK6Xs7pHLmCLYiRWYxGgdWweBP. I'm sending the 0.28737845 BTC now. bonus jackpot received, thanks!

Thanks but I want to Solo mine, I have newer hardware that I will eventually put it on when I find a miner I like. If it helps here is a list of the hardware I have available. And for the record I am somewhat of a gambler I would rather take the higher risk option of solo mining for the large payout.
1st Test computer Athlon 64 Nvidia 8800 GT (AGP) Any OS option
2nd Test Computer Turion X2 64x Radion HD 3200 Any OS run in Virtual Box only
Actual machine after choice is made Phenom Black 9950 x4 Gigayte HD 6450
Actual Machine 2 Phenom 9950 x4 R HD 4200 + 4700 Hybrid Crossfire
Actual Machine 3 Phenom II x6 R HD 5870
I also have tons of old hardware Mainly P4 Dells that I have configured into a cluster at one point but the electricity use for what I was doing at that time was very much not work the effort. But I might do it again for the fun and challenge if I like mining.
I have GUI Miner on Actual Machine #1 I just couldn't figure it out and when looking for the new version I did not see the link anymore.
dont take this the wrong way, but even with those specs you'd still be at about 90 days average time till finding a block, and the difficulty will change a lot in that time. I'd still recommend a pool. the R HD 6450 will get you about 130 mhash, we'll call it 150 to be nice. the R HD 4xxx series are only beta-compatible with the SDK, and don't post nearly as good speeds (20-40% reduced over the same model from the 5xxx series -- trust me I learned the hard way). 200 mhash combined for this machine. r hd 5870 is the best model you have here and can be pushed to about 400 mhash = a combined strength of 750 mhash/sec. a quick visit to the calculator over at bitcoinpool.com means you're in for a rough road. I'd HIGHLY recommend a pool. you can dare to be great at a 50% chance of absolutely nothing happening, ever, or you can settle for .5 btc a day (at that rate are present difficulty) in a pool, and at least have something to show for it after a month of work. I'd recommend not considering solo mining till your rigs combine to the 4 ghash/sec neighborhood. I hate to say it, but 750 mhash combined is a bit of a stretch, I'd put it closer to 550 mhash
