1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] RibbitRewards - World's first blockchain rewards program [Airdrop is now!] on: July 24, 2016, 10:52:05 PM
Any word on how to retrieve my RBR from the online wallet. "Password Incorrect" (which it isn't) and/or no "New accounts"

What's up? Anyone else unable to access their coins?

Any help?

Where can I go for help?

Oh, I'm holding tight. No worries there.

Loyyal, seems to me, is a GREAT use-case for blockchain technology - immutable ledger, trustless consensus.

Although, it would be nice to hear from official sources about the status of the project. (I know many of you feel the same.)

For now, I am holding on Bittrex and have some "stuck" in my online wallet. AND I WANT MORE.

Hi,

I'm new to Loyyal/RibbitRewards and got a problem...Since I'm planning to get some RibbitReward Tokens I just tried to make an account for the digital wallet, but the creation of a new account is "temporary closed".
Any infos/tips why I can't make an account? Is there no desktop solution? There is no Loyyal wallet yet right?

I have a current digital wallet But when I tried to login it wouldn't let me even with a backup. I have also tried to create a new account on a different computer and browser. I get the same "temporarily closed" message.

I have a considerable amount of RBR in the online wallet.

I too wonder what is going on?

I have tried to
1) open an existing wallet but it says it does not recognize the password &
2) creating a new wallet but it says new account creation is temporarily closed.

Neither option is functioning.

Is anyone else experiencing the same?

I have tried asking on the OKCash Forum and on Reddit so forgive me if this is overkill but I haven't received a response so I am attempting this forum.

The power went out at my home. When I restarted the OKCash client there is zero balance. How do I recover my coins. And, yes I backed up.
7  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [1 BTC Bounty] Explain Bitcoin in one Sentence on: November 24, 2015, 05:26:06 PM
Bitcoin is money without banks.
This is more simple than "Bitcoin is electronic money without banks,"

People are accustomed to using the Internet to send "electronic" money (USD payment from online banking, for example) so perhaps the use of the word would be better.

Either way the point is to focus on how life would change if there were no longer any banks, or bank "vaults" or bank "ledgers," or FDIC or possibility of bail-outs, etc.

With Bitcoin (Satoshi's gift and all its offspring) this is now at least possible.

9  Other / Off-topic / I read about issues with Windows10 but I need a new computer? on: August 23, 2015, 01:26:36 AM
I read about security/privacy issues with Windows 10. As a newbie/casual user who is ready to buy a new computer, which Operating system/computer should I buy if want to be able to avoid unwanted guests? I've tried Linux Ubuntu but some devs don't create Linux-based wallets and like I said I'm a casual user and Ubuntu is not so newb-friendly. Is the Windows 10 issue a real concern or are there fixes I can install? Should I go with a Mac? Advice is welcome.
