1  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Ponzi247.com | 100% Automated | 130% Return | Every Saturday Night | Faucet on: March 17, 2015, 02:21:07 PM
A faucet is now available on the website! Payment is made through FaucetBOX.

Current odds: 1000 (85%), 2000 (10%), 5000 (5%) satoshi every 60 minutes.

Funding for the faucet will come from 1/3 of my commission from the ponzi game, and will be loaded every week, along with the weekly ponzi reset. For the same reason, my commission will increase from 2% to 3% starting next week (this will include the faucet funds).

There are currently 969000 satoshi available for grabbing!

Just wanted to let you know that the OP is as serious about this thread as McDonald is about your health.
My ponzi website is entirely OK until anyone comes with any sort of proof that shows otherwise. It did not collapse, it's alive, it never scammed anyone.

Oh and I also sent a private message to the OP about this yesterday but he never answered because he's such a gentleman.
I'm getting sick of this community.

Your site had several confirmed deposits that could have paid those who were due to be paid hit didnt. That's why I put your site as collapsed.
And from what I can see that is still the case. You SHOULD have over .55 in your hot wallet though you do not as of now, you have .38
Your BlockChain does not correspond with your site and there's multiple complaints about its.
I'll do a re-review and if necessary I'll put it back on the watch list but it won't be going on the paying list.

Look, unlike you and everyone else pointing fingers with no evidence, I'll bring some just to show how wrong you are: https://blockchain.info/tx/342d1ea235ce6e3ad113b6d3d5cb04ffacdc96dc7f3d3a67dd0711eafb5c5c1d

Someone sent a value that is above the maximum limit that my website allows, ON PURPOSE. And what does my website clearly state about payments below or above the limit ? DONATION.

I didn't make rules just so people can mess with them, they are RULES for a reason, and I keep to them as much as any other player should. What do you tell the police when they catch you smoking weed ? That it was just a little ? It still IS.

Do your homework right or otherwise don't do it all. I didn't ask to be placed on this list, but if you insist on having everyone added then at least do a good job about it. I never broke any of my own rules and I also don't plan to. And I built a 100% automated website so that I don't have to come back every day explaining shit like this to people who use a highly complex currency such as bitcoin but still cannot read plain text.

And that's that, I'm over with this rant.

Excuse me but what is all this fuss about ? I haven't been online at the time of the weekly reset yesterday, which is why a slight error occurred: the list of people to be paid did not empty at all, so the money of those who deposited went to the ones from Week #4 first (you can see that all week #4 participants were paid, by mistake, here http://ponzi247.com/history.php?week=4 ). In order to compensate for this, I just moved 0.1 BTC (the total that was misspent on the last 9 transactions of Week #4, which should have been deleted at the end of the week) from my commission to the money available for paying the players, so it's all back to normal again.

And I just spent 3 hours doing all the math and the programming to make sure that everything is back on track and that this will never happen again (by the way, it happened because of the timezone difference between where I live and where the web server is, so the script did not work as intended, but it is fixed now), so please bring evidence before negating any of this. Remember, absolutely everything is on the blockchain.

Ready for Week #4 ?

So I gave it a shot anyway, and a player that deposits almost a minute early gets paid and I in turn do not.. If your goal is to build confidence and trust in your game it's a really shaky way to do it...

You seem to think that building confidence is about saying 'fuck you' to those who deposited 1 minute early as if the game is called 'who can deposit at 12:00:00 spot on or otherwise gtfo' which is totally not the case. If that would be the actual point of this game, I would have designed it in a totally different way. Instead, I'm doing my best to keep it true to its original name and purpose: it's a weekly ponzi, nothing more, nothing less. If it's a different type of game that you would like, I am open to feedback and suggestions as I said from my very first post.

Bumping for visibility. Please note that the weekly reset will occur at midnight today.

Looking at last weeks round and see the first few TXes looked to have been before the start time, what is your running policy on early deposits?

I'm using common sense to determine whether the deposit was intended for the old round or the new one. That being said however, I do not encourage doing early deposits.

On a side note, the commission will be updated to 2% starting with Week #4 up from 1%. This goes with the slightly increased interest in the website.

Good morning everyone.

Just wanted to say that I'm quite disgusted by the focus of the community using these forums. The reactions to every single bitcoin game that shows up are entirely backwards. Websites like btc-flow, multicryptos and every single copy of either of them get shitloads of views and posts and constantly stay on top of the forum, although 90%+ of the ones posting in those threads KNOW that these are obvious scams that will soon bail out, and that seems to be some sort of encouragement for them to keep ranting with no purpose whatsoever except increasing the view and post count, attracting EVEN MORE people to these threads/websites/scams.

In the meanwhile, legit websites that actually keep to their word and haven't scammed anyone even once are entirely ignored and get to silently die in a corner of the forum.

Great job guys, keep encouraging the scammers to come up with new scams, and don't come back whining after you've been scammed too, YOU chose this.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I have finally automated the entire process and further tweaked several scripts. The "BTC Required Until Next Payout" label will now also mention whether it is out of date due to recent deposits. If it does not, it means it is up to date (takes 2 confirmations to recalculate it after a new deposit is made).

Enjoy!

Good morning everyone!

I would like to give an explanation for the slight error that happened last night when the week reset:
I was not around to do the single task that I could not automate due to server limitations (please PM me about it if you have any idea how to use CRON jobs, as SQL events are disabled on the server I use) which is why the entirety of Week #2 deposits have been paid back before starting to pay for Week #3 (this can easily be seen on the History page at Week 2). I understand why you might be worried about it, and fortunately there were less than 0.1 BTC left to be paid for Week #2, but rest assured I will find a permanent solution to this by Week #4.

Enjoy!
13  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Ponzi247.com | 100% automated | 130% return | starts 15 Feb on: February 14, 2015, 11:22:23 AM
I am not aware of already existing scripts or other such things, I built the back-end of my website on my own (even though, as someone mentioned, I am using an already existing website's interface, which I will change as soon as I can convince myself that there is enough external interest in my website).

Totally BS, we're not stupid, I check your page source, it's 99% a direct copy from weeklyponzi

Don't be silly Smiley
Copying the "page source" literally only takes a few seconds thanks to modern browsers, but it's only the visual appearance of it. I clearly stated that it's the back-end that I spent my time working on (the functionality, as opposed to the visual aspect, i.e the scripts that notify the database that a new deposit has taken place so that the website can update, the scripts that that take care of the financial part, etc.). These cannot be copy pasted from the page source, as they are written in languages such as PHP, which is compiled by the server hosting the website, and all you end up seeing (either directly or through the source page) is the resulting/remaining HTML. Go ahead, try finding PHP code in any website's source page.

It's quite sad that these forums are reminiscent of gaming forums that I used to frequent about 10 years ago, filled with raging kids (or at least with the same personality) that can't wait to throw their anger at someone. Check your facts and try to spend more time thinking about what you're writing than actually writing it. I'm glad that there's such a big community of gamblers here, but I wish they were slightly more mature.

That being said, I'd also like to announce the latest change for this first week: the maximum deposit has been lowered to 0.3 BTC just so that those that want to try the system out with smaller deposits will not be 'blocked' by larger deposits waiting to be paid out.

Commission has now been lowered to 1%. Have some cake!

So what sort of new features are you guys looking forward to ?

I was thinking of something along the lines of having the last 1/2/3 player/s of each week passed on to the next round (which would theoretically help those rushing at midnight from losing their money for depositing 1 second too early). Or maybe I should remove the 'midnight rush' entirely by slightly randomizing the weekly reset time (by a matter of minutes, just so players don't "stalk" the deposit button) ? I'm almost definitely going to add something new to it for Week #2, I only wish I had more constructive feedback to listen to, instead of just hate and anger.

I am not aware of already existing scripts or other such things, I built the back-end of my website on my own (even though, as someone mentioned, I am using an already existing website's interface, which I will change as soon as I can convince myself that there is enough external interest in my website).

I can see most of you are interested in new features, but you also need to be aware that I cannot spend time working on new features from the very start, without knowing if there's any interest beforehand.

I have noticed, on the ponzi website who's interface I have 'stolen', that deposits confirmed within the same block often get paid in a random order. I had my own approach to this problem, and I made it such that deposits get acknowledged instantly, confirmed after 1 blockchain confirmation, and payouts are attempted after the 2nd blockchain confirmation. This ensures that players are paid back in the exact same chronological order in which they deposited, which is quite important for those bulking up at midnight.

I also noticed that someone 'tried out' the system with a 0.0001 deposit, but as I noted on the actual website:
The limits are 0.001 ฿ - 1 ฿  (just lowered the minimum from 0.005). Anything outside these limits is 'skipped'.
Apart from that, I have also set it to 'skip' all deposits made before the very beginning of Week #1.

Please let me know if you would like me to 'unblock' the system so that you can see it work before Week #1 begins, or if you would like me to temporarily reduce the return to 100% and the commission to 0% just to see the system work (although you won't get to see much in that case, as every deposit will just pay itself back within 2 confirmations). Either way, I appreciate your feedback!
17  Economy / Investor-based games / Ponzi247.com | 100% Automated | 130% Return | Every Saturday Night | Faucet on: February 10, 2015, 08:20:13 PM
Ok, no need to go crazy with the advertisement I suppose, I'd just like to introduce a new weekly ponzi: www.ponzi247.com
It is 100% automated, it has 130% return, and it started on the 15th of February at 00:00.

There is a commission of 2%.
Minimum deposit: 0.001 BTC.
Maximum deposit: 0.3 BTC.

A faucet is available with the following odds: 1000 (85%), 2000 (10%), 5000 (5%) satoshi every 60 minutes. The faucet will be funded by 1% of the deposits being made into the ponzi game. Payment from the faucet is made through FaucetBox.

I have seen a lot of hate and anger on these forums, and I was not aware there was such a big community of ponzi players when I started working on the website. I am only asking that you try it out before you judge, or simply do not play if you do not trust it.

You can contact me either through the form available on the website or on this forum.
