1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bit Coin is a Ponzi Scheme on: July 18, 2018, 11:30:32 AM
bitcoin is a currency from the simple fact that you can buy things with it or trade it for another coin if you want just as you do if you buy something in another country that use different currency than yours. with your logic everyone who use dollars or any fiat money is being schemed cause he trades something with actual value(like food) for something with no actual value like the dollar. and no, "required by law to recognize it's value" don't mean much when people realize that they can't buy what they actually need with the fiat currency(with the "real value") and you can see it in countries with fiat currency crisis like venezuela and iran. in the previous decade there was also the example of the Zimbabwean dollar that lost all of its value within a few years and turned into nothing but a piece of paper you can only use for wiping your ass.
the country can only promote the fake value of the money but at the end its value becomes just as fake as any other coin whether it is a fiat coin or cryptocurrency cause you can't do anything with a piece of paper called a dollar other than trading it for something you realy can use like food or a car.

"imaginary currency that only exists virtually", when you look at the numbers in your bank accounts and see something like 30000$ in the account what do you think this number represent? a vault in the bank full of dollars with your name written on it?, nope, they are just "only exists virtually" cause all the banking systems works with computers.

cryptocurrency skeptics like you tend to forget(or not bothering to know)what the "real money" is and how its work.

but bitcoin can be somekind of a scheme if you only want to use it as an investment and expect its prices to get skyrocketed again and again and make you rich, many of those people are actually more like you cause like you cause they don't see bitcoin(or other cryptocurrencies) as currency at all and only see it as an investment or scheme they can use to make money.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Face up to reality: The game is over on: July 16, 2018, 11:11:10 PM
The development since late December shows very clearly what is happening.

The whales - and anyone else with half a financial brain - are slowly selling all their bitcoin. As they sell, prices begin to drop sharply. They then hold back on the selling and newbies and "HODL'ers" are foolish enough to "buy the dip". This sends the price back up.

It then repeats with rates dropping again, until the newbies and "HODL'ers" buy the dip once more.

Except on every round the dip gets deeper and deeper.

The game is over, and anyone so stupendously stupid to keep buying from the whales who are unloading are basically just throwing their money away.

Face up to reality, the party is over.

what "game" exactly is over? the bitcoin iself or the days of making big money from bitcoin?. there is a big difference and i think some people don't care much to point out the difference between bitcoin as a currency and bitcoin as an investment and forget that there are people/companies who actualy accept it as a coin when they sell some product or service.

when bitcoin becomes less of an investment it becomes more of a currency cause its price becomes more stable and convinient for people who actualy use it as a coin and i think this is exactly what will happen.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / opening a bitcoin exchange with alphapoint on: September 06, 2016, 03:20:47 PM
i am thinking about opening a bitcoinexchange and while reading forum threads(on the bitcoin forum in the stackexchange site) about opening a bitcoin exchange business i saw in some of them posts about alphapoint company which from what i understood help people who want to open a bitcoin exchange business and i even readed in the alphapoint's linkedin page: "Full system to run a digital asset exchange. Fully hosted options available. Customize and launch your own digital currency and/or bitcoin exchange in less than 20 days with AlphaPoint ".

from what i saw in this forum and in general its look like its a serious company and not some scam but still sounds a bit fishy to me cause i don't understand the basics of what is all about and what is the deal her. what alphapoint offers to someone who want to open a bitcoinexchange business? bitcoin exchange are usualy automatic right? so if they provide all the tech and equipment why they need customers who want to open a bitcoin exchange business? they expect the customers to be experts in servers and/or programming?.

i know its mybe a questions that i should ask the alphapoint site but i feel more comfortable to know that other people see that it is a legit deal that make sense.
4  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: what bitcoin ads service should i use in my blog? on: February 16, 2015, 06:03:27 AM
It took me since Sept 2013, I told you that at the beginning..lol

I don't know how much I made per month or anything like that, not something I keep track of...
but you said that you have much more traffic now and from the stats its look like you barely have much before that month, its looked like you barely have traffic before that month and guessed that the traffic that you had in january(very little) was pretty much the same in the last year. if it was the case its quite reasonable to assume that most of the money you made after your site had gained much more traffic. i don't even know how much and when you stopped to advertise or why your site seems inactive before that month... you didn't gave me much details Tongue

anyway i am looking for quite average example(not some extreme case) of some site with specific traffic and his income from adds from a specific service. i don't looking to know exactly how much i can earn but to get more specific estimation than anything from few fractions of a dollar per month and above.

No... the a-ads stats are showing for one month.

I made around 0.05 btc in the past 12 days since I started advertising my site again.

What's the website for your blog by the way?
the 1.6 bitcoin you had withdrawn you made around that month or before? and how much it took you to make most of it?.

6  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: what bitcoin ads service should i use in my blog? on: February 16, 2015, 05:39:30 AM
Balance: 0.00113358 Ƀ

Withdrawn: 1.60863678 Ƀ

I've had that little ad since 9-2013, it's made me 1.6 btc...

Not bad at all if you average out the price of btc over the course of that time.

Adbit.co bids are per day, but it auto renews from your account balance,

so you don't have to make a new bid everyday... here is my advertising section on my site.

http://bitcoinwork.info/earn-free-bitcoin.html#Advertising

Still have to update it more...

you had that ad for years but almost all of that money you made around the last month right? according to the graph you had little to no earning at all before that month. if i have in my blog around 10,000 unique impressions(in less than a month) and get something like 100+ clicks on the add i can get around one bitcoin or little more in few weeks to month?.

7  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: what bitcoin ads service should i use in my blog? on: February 16, 2015, 04:49:32 AM

for now i barely have any traffic cause i just opened the blog but i think for the future if it will have good traffic.

how much did you get for a month? it seems like you already withdrawed big part of the money so i can't realy know how much you earned that month or how much did you earned from the clicks.

i just looked in their site and saw in "websites" a table of websites with traffic and the "BTC per day", it is what they earn per day or what the advertiser is paying and only small fraction of it going for the publisher?. and why allmost everyone of them is bitcoin related site? does it have any effect if the site/blog with the ads is not about bitcoin?.

In answer to your first question... https://a-ads.com/ad_units/6558/stats

I've just recently started advertising my site again, so much more traffic... Grin

For adbit.co, that's what is bid per day... Almost all of them are bitcoin related, well because it's bitcoin advertising service..

I would advertise on a non-bitcoin site though, fresh customers.. I do notice though if you aren't on the first 4 pages on the adbit.co site,

you don't get the good paying bids... But if you can get on the first page  Cool

so you earned more than one bitcoin in a month with 10,000 unique impressions? am i right?

and basicaly the that bid is what those sites on adbit earns per day? or every day there is a new bid?.

If you plan on staying here for the long run, I really recommend that you change your username by creating a new account!  Grin

I have used adbit in the past. Would highly suggest it, as compared to the other options.

How much traffic are you getting?

My best ad earner is a-ads:

https://a-ads.com/ad_units/6558

By the way you can find that # on any a-ads banner, and put it on the end of that of that url...

Kind of interesting to see traffic/earnings of sites... Wink

the potential earning you can do with ads its quite foggy cause most of those services like adsense don't tell you how much you will earn per 1000 unique impressions and its even worse with the services that works with bitcoin.

i realy need a review of income+unique impressions and the name of service to know what should i use for my blog and know what to expect to if i choose to use this.

by the way sorry for my nickname "fuckthisform", the signing up form just drove me mad...   Undecided
