How long does meow take to autoexchange? Its pending deposit, does the exchange need a lot of confirms? I'm guessing it needs a lot of confirms before the exchange recognises the deposit?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MULTI][VARDIFF] Pool|TradeMyBit - 0.5% Prop/Profit Swap/Auto-Exch on: April 14, 2014, 02:53:31 PM
The 0.20% is the avg rate that exchanges charge. So what I was getting at is charge a fee, thats fair (for the automation etc) - enough to cover exchange fees and a bit extra for the convenience. A 900% increase for this service compared to what exchange fees are seems a bit excessive.

Tho when you combine the pool + autoexchange fee compared to other pools its about in line (e.g. clevermining, middlecoin, waffle which payout in btc).  Its a good thing the main pool fee is 0.5% as it helps and keeps the pool competitive (multipool that payout in btc are 2%-4%).

TMB being most profitable and in the middle its not so bad once you compare apples with apples.

pool seems down? can't resolve the west server address (was working) and the main address stratum+tcp://stratum-us.trademybit.com:3330 sits idle waiting for work.

update: east gets work, west resolves dut doesn't send any work. I'm in Australia so west coast is best for me, but since east is the only thing that sends me work that is best (heh).
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MULTI][VARDIFF] Pool|TradeMyBit - 0.5% Prop/Profit Swap/Auto-Exch on: April 14, 2014, 05:18:10 AM
Thanks for your response, heh premium is the keyword here when the going rate is 0.2%. Thats a whopping 900% increase...fwoar! heh

On 0.004 thats a fee of 0.00008 (0.004*0.025[pool + auto exchange fee]). You are going to send me to the poor house! Wink

Is it possible to implement an option (checkbox) that you can check that will set autoexchange to yes for all coins? The dropdown is only for new coins, I set it to on but it doesn't set the existing coins to yes/on. I guess I got a lot of clicking to do, fml.. hehe

Its nice how the default is set to off and you also list what exchange the coin is on (on the main page). You got a good site with good transparency.

Good job.

Why go with Apple App store vs Googles Android App store?

Apple is a lot more restrictive, at least with android it leaves it open to allow the currency to go to your wallet (groundbreaking).

Your currency would be worth a lot more if you could play a game and generate and real world income (cai -> btc -> usd).

Either way at least its a step in the right direction.

Might want to check out https://pool.trademybit.com/home/ as they are report 0.006/btc/mhash/day. Which is above your report 0.004~.

auto exchange fee seem a bit excessive/high at 2% when most exchanges charge less than 1%. Whats the justification for such a high fee other than greed?

I have no problem with charging for a fee for the automation but the 2% fee seems a bit excessive, on top of the pool fee.

For an example Mintpal charges 0.15% and poloniex 0.20%. Cryptsy is at 0.2% for buys and 0.3% for sells

Can you please give a reason for such a high fee? Which exchange are you trading on?

Maybe change the autoexchange fee to something more reasonable? Like say 0.5% (like your pool fee)?  I guess thats why your pool fee is so low, coz you gouge (unsuspecting) users that use auto-exchange? Just seems greedy to me when the going rate is about 0.2%.

Its not as groundbreaking as you think (or I think).

If the CAI generated from the game can be transferred to your wallet and then eventually exchanged to btc/usd then that would be groundbreaking.

Tho things attached to that like gold farming etc will be abused so people can make money which would lead to the currency be next to worthless.

It be groundbreaking if even with the abuses, the currency keeps its value.

What miner do I need to use to mine this?   Will it work with cgminer 3.7.2?

vertminer or sgminer

vertminer better than sgminer (with zukkis kernel)?

Answered my own question:

Pool = Pool hashrate
pool.execoin.net = 70~ MH/s
exe.suchpool.pw = 6~ MH/s
exe.hashing.at = 1~ MH/s
exe.dedicatedpool.com = 195~ MH/s
exe.poolz.net = 103~ MH/s
exe.coinpool.cc = 46~ Mh/s
exe.coinsprofit.com = website don't work
exe.ecurie.io = 39~ MH/s
5plus.guru/exe/ = Offline

Think I'll go with exe.dedicatedpool.com, unless my logic is flawed.

OK west server is overloaded, east works for me.

dedicated is just biggest not best pool, you are better off joining smaller pool(dedicated has high fees) the best is to use p2pool i use it and coijns go directly to your wallet , try it (give it 12 -24 hours to reach your average, then even if you stop mining p2pool still pays you for hours after).        http://west.exe.p2pools.info:9173/static/     just try it, you'll love it once you go p2p you never go back.

isn't p2p solo mining, with my hash (less than 500kH/s) it'll take awhile to find a block vs a pool ?

Which pool is best to mine at? I am led to believe the pool with the most hash is best, short of its hash leading to a 51% attack. Currently I'm at suchpool with has a pool hash of 5.44Mh/s.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] sph-sgminer: multi-coin multi-algorithm GPU miner | added Twecoin on: April 13, 2014, 06:11:06 AM
Can I use this for scrypt-n & x11?

Update well specifying nfactor with zuikkis or darkcoin kernel fails to load sph-sgminer.

Atm I'm using sgminer for scrypt-n and sph-sgminer for x11. Would be good to use just the one program.
