1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][AIRDROP] Titanium - First Decentralised Cloud Services Provider🚀 on: January 13, 2018, 07:55:49 PM
Seems interesting, although I wouldn't count on any of those partnerships actually being confirmed. The concept is really strong but I have my concerns in regards to it's scalability. If you plan on having all these partnerships you need to consider the network traffic in terms of providing decentrailized storage for clients , as well as creating a means of exchange for how the clients will pay for your services.

Good point.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO] Titanium - World's First Decentralised Cloud Services Provider 🚀 on: January 13, 2018, 07:50:14 PM
This is indeed an interesting project. Having worked in IT Infrastructure myself I know how painful it is to setup things yourself. With such concept things are definitely going to be smooth for a company as most of the things will be handled by the vendor. I would love to setup things on the fly and have a proactive monitoring set for my servers and other network devices. This is indeed the path which is still unexplored and I am happy that blockchain and project like this have bought the bits and pieces together and presented it in the most efficient and effective manner.

Good luck to the team and I will be following your project for sure.

First, I will say that I am interested in this project and I have participated in the ICO.

I do have a few concerns that I don't think anyone here has expressed. DO NOT take this personally but this is just coming from someone that has worked in infrastructure for a decade with my most recent role involving VMWare VM administration, AWS/Azure migrations, and workload analysis.

1.  Establishing a CLOUD provider compute environment IS A HUGE undertaking!  After reading the white paper, I do not see any technical specifics of how you plan to accomplish this.  While the White paper is complete, it's more of a project plan than a technical white paper.
I'm not saying you can't do it, but for someone like myself who knows what's involved - it would be nice to see how TBIS plans to accomplish this - at least in small detail.  You can't just pull Enterprise class services out of thin air.

2. 99.999999% uptime is the most "sales pitchy" cliche one can throw out in this industry.  If you plan to run this on the ETH network - what will your plan be to address the fact that an app as simple as CryptoKitties was able to "crash" the Ethereum blockchain?  Has anyone else here given this some thought?

3. I'm a little weary that the address on your DUNS number is registered to your apt.
TITANIUM BLOCKCHAIN INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES INC.
15027 DICKENS ST APT 4
SHERMAN OAKS, CA 91403

HOWEVER, it's not uncommon to start a business from home so I wont knock this too hard.

All that said - I think TBIS has a pretty lofty goal here and I hope that your team can deliver.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: July 28, 2015, 01:46:27 PM
I had a thought about all these accusations of scrypt.cc being a ponzi - which for the record I do NOT believe it is.

So, lets rewind say 3 or 4 months ago, back when rewards were high and before the electricity thing.

The top 20 in rank, had anywhere between 5,000,000 and 30,000,000 khashes.  Lets just take an average of 10million for the Top 20 to make it easy.

Ballpark reward for 10,000,000 was around USD$500 per day or 2BTC per day approx.

Now, I'm quite confident that these Top 20 were NOT re-investing this as I did actually keep screenshots for a few days and watched it over the course of a couple of weeks.  I noticed their holdings increase slightly but not drastically.

This means that each of the Top 20 were pulling out an average of say 1.5BTC per day.  That's 30BTC per day.

So, all you ponzi screaming lunatics are telling me that there was daily fresh deposits of 30BTC per day to cover just the Top 20 withdraws?  Let alone the 10's or 100's of BTC withdrawn daily by the thousands of other investors?

So, how was scrypt.cc funding all these daily deposits, if they're not mining like all you ponzi freaks are claiming?

My theory is that they are actually mining, maybe the 850ghash was inflated so they could sell more khashes, who the hell knows but they gotta be earning BTC in some way otherwise they'd have shut up shop a year ago.

Anyway, if someone can be bothered to lookup all the blockchain transactions to see daily deposits vs daily withdraws i'd be interested to see.  Correct me if i'm wrong, but a ponzi is not sustainable if daily withdraws exceed daily deposits.

I had monitored the Top 20 a while back too.  But only a few had actually changed their handle to "reveal" themselves (TheDice, UglyOldGoat, etc).  While it would seem those are legit accounts, I could only assume that the others marked as "anonymous" could potentially be fake accounts, and the fact that their KHS never changed (aka were not reinvesting) that the possibility of them being dummy accounts could not be ruled out.  That said, there was no reason to believe that these anonymous accounts were making daily withdrawals as you mentioned above.

I'm just saying...Top 20 hashers could have been mostly fake. You can't rule that out.

4  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CLOUDMINR on: July 06, 2015, 10:29:44 PM

I'm just hoping that they do come back up; I might not have a fortune invested but so far this is the one cloud mining site I've found that doesn't want an arm and a leg, and does actually pay you without the ridiculous fees.

LOL...  legitimate sites have lower payback rate (Hashnest, Genesis Mining) because they are ACTUALLY mining and have overhead.  Cloudminr was not mining, so the lack of (or lower) fees does not make better.

5  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CLOUDMINR on: July 06, 2015, 05:50:21 PM
Such a bummer I was soo close to ROI  Cry

I thought the frequency and %discount of their sales were getting really suspicious.  Coupon codes and emails every Friday-ish before payout weekend...

It would take at least that much money to convince even the lowliest whore to perform what you ask. Nice selfie though. You and the other PQs have fun while it lasts. You sure showed all of us by depositing even more BTC, withdrawing what was already yours, selling for far less than you paid, and watching your rewards become less than 25% of what they were before the "hack." Nice victory.

Aside from this - I just find it amazing that with all the questionable aspects of operation, that people are still finding this a viable "investment".  Deleted support tickets, being banned from chat (what legit company does this???), broken links, the list is long...

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: July 03, 2015, 03:24:35 AM
Rewards are super low and likely halved again , wow i mean like wtf they didn't ran the miners while they investigate the problems to compensate their loss ? Soooo glad I pulled out , and for those of you interested, I received my test amount of btc right now , I think I'm gonna put all back to my wallet, good ol' fiat wins this time

Yeah wtf is this bullshit?  Huh Reduced rewards until losses are recovered? Thought we already did that...I thought that's what happened to all the rewards that none of us got for over a week man.... regardless of whether it's legit or a scam...that's a dick move   Angry

This just cracks me up. Everyone is screaming that us "haters" don't know what we're talking about, calling Scrypt a ponzi and not capable of proving their mining power.

Now that things are spinning up again, ya'll wanna call a lower reward a "dick move".   ahhahhha Did you all expect things to be hunky dory after months of reported missing KHash, missing BTC, server instability, (alleged) power issues and hacks?

good luck with your miners then, although, if cryptodevil want, he can PROVE that your miners are scam also.

read the first post, I answer to : "anyone who mine in this site, youll never get any ROI if you just Mining,"  - so this IS BULLSHIT, just like you repeat same things again.

So, let me get this right, myself and other people have presented clear and concise explanations of how you can check the actual facts yourself which prove scrypt.cc cannot be operating how they claim to be and you are under the impression that simply typing "IS BULLSHIT" in upper-case letters qualifies as a reasoned rebuttal?

LOL.

Seriously. LOL.

Same here been there since febuaray 2014 , been ups and downs but have ROI'd several times , its amazing that people write so much crap without 100% facts!!

FACT: Scrypt.cc is unreliable, inconsistent, and incapable of proving themselves as a legitimate mining operation.

everyone's rewards history was cleared. This is normal. He does it to free up space on the server.

One of the main reasons why I left. This is NOT normal.  Imagine eTrade clearing out your trade history... there's no good reason for that. Archiving I can understand. Deleting... no bueno.

And doing so to save space on a server?  Simply indicative of a budget operation - WHETHER OR NOT they are mining.

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: June 15, 2015, 11:09:19 PM
I am wondering right now. I periodically log into my account to see what's going on. Today i wanted to buy some khs, not many, because auto-invest is not working properly. So i created my buy order and then the message "Error: Minimum KHS amount: 100" appeared. So is there a new trade limit of 100khs/trade? And does it count for auto-invest also? I'm now a bit confused about that.

Same here! I was happy about buying some khs at almost 800 satoshi and then the 100 KHS MINIMUM warning struck me.

I think this is the explanation for that:

Quote
06/15/2015 03:50PM EST: All buy and sell orders have 100KHS minimum now.
06/15/2015 04:02PM EST: Orders with less than 100 KHS were cancelled, Orders older then 30 days were cancelled.
06/15/2015 04:10PM EST: New trade server for better performance.
06/15/2015 12:02PM EST: Withdraw queue cleared, Withdraws are now back at normal speeds.

So he has a new server and wants to minimize the 1 or 2khs transactions to reduce load, i think. Because many users were complaining about the server in the past. So sad for us small investors... Let's hope auto-invest is still working with amounts below that limit of 100khs. Else it's frustrating...

and he stole 1.250.000 ghs from me i did an sell order of 1.250.000 khs and then price was going down so i wanted to cancel it to sell for cheaper but never got the khs back after cancelling..
and he is ignoring my support tickets i am soo happy that i didnt deposited more then 11 btc.
MARCELO SANTOS IF YOU READ THIS GIVE MY FUCKING KHS OR BTC BACK I REALLY NEEDED THE BTC....

When I sold off my khs, I sold in 3333khs, 5555khs, and 7777khs chunks at various contiguous prices so that I could closely monitor the sales. Took a few days, but couldn't imagine locking up more than 10,000khs chunks at a time because of various problems others have claimed to have, as well as bugs in trading (display) I have experienced on my own.     FWIW, I once had a ticket that needed attention.  It got deleted. I caught admin on chat one early morning (low attendance) and managed to ask him about it, create a new ticket, and it got resolved in the same session.  Your mileage may vary, but if you're looking for attention - that might be your best bet.

Good luck.

I've had enough.  I've cashed out.  Effectively doubled up, since Feb 2015.  Good luck to you all!

If you have doubled up, whats the harm in staying?!
If you have made ROI anything extra is all profit... I dont get why people would then chicken out and sell up.

Anyway each to their own.

I stuck through the bumps and setbacks of Scrypt.cc early 2015.   My exit strategy was to sell my KHS and move on.

In the meantime I dont have to log into the website every day... check the trollbox temperature, check the chatter on Bitcointalk, view logs on sccstats...Fuck that routine. Peace of mind.

Victory, not Victim.

My calculations currently yielded 12.85 average satoshi per KHS for my recent 300 minute interval... I've been preparing an excel with calculations in a 30 payment interval (300 minutes). My interval started more than 10 minutes before my most recent KHS auto increment and more than 10 minutes after the second most recent KHS auto-increment, in order to factor out the re-investment (as if I had auto invest off). These were my 30 payments not affected by auto-invest for my 468 KHS:

 0.00000042074606993548
 0.00000042074606336479
 0.00000042074606361884

I split the 300 min interval and calculated the average of the first 15 payments and the average of the the next 15 payments. for my 468 KHS the first 15 payments average was  0.00000041794614548592 BTC and the average of the next 15 payments was  0.00000041794490299459

The payments per 10 mins had dropped from the first 15 average by
(0.00000041794614548592 - 0.00000041794490299459) = 0.00000000000124249133

That is a percentage revenue drop for every 150 minutes per KHS
(0.00000041794614548592 - 0.00000041794490299459) / 0.00000041794614548592)
=  0.00000297285031599815 =  0.000297285031599815 %

There are 24 * 60 / 150 = 9.6 intervals of 150 minutes in 24 hours

Therefore, using the compound interest formula the expected compound revenue decrease rate per KHS is

(1 + 0.00000297285031599815)^9.6 - 1 =  0.0000285397278616539 =  0.00285397278616539 %

and the expected monthly revenue decrease based on this 300 minute interval, would be

(1 + 0.00000297285031599815)^(9.6*30.5) - 1 =   0.000870828229561749 =  0.0870828229561749 %

and the expected annual revenue decrease rate would be:

(1 + 0.00000297285031599815)^(9.6*365) - 1 =  0.0104712963079583 =  1.047129630795830000 %

So ur wrong, it does decrease over time Tongue (which it should) due to the expected decrease of efficiency of the ASIC miners due to the rising difficulty of mining, although quite a little.

Therefore id someone is making 10 USD, EUR, BTC every 10 minutes right now from the invested KHS (without auto-invest), after one year, he should expect to make
(1 - 0.0104712963079583) * 10 =  9.89528703692042 USD, EUR, or BTC accordingly.

Ffffweehhh...  Cry that took some time and brain hashing power, but now I feel better and more confident that my revenues wont disappear very quickly... Of course this is based on the specific 30 payments throughout the specific 300 minutes... but it will have to do...  Wink

P.S. I hope my post is not against the rules. If I'm wrong, or if I have any mathematical mistakes (I'm not perfect) please let me know and I will edit it ASAP.  Cool

The problem here is we have no clue as to how the altcoin to bitcoin conversion is talking place. That is, what is being factored in.  Regardless of whether or not SCC is (or is not) mining, this is likely a config file that the admin is changing a variable or multiplier to adjust the rewards.  And there is likely a randomizer in there to help give the appearance of varying rewards.

Good math though =)

I logged in, was like "wow, the site is fast now" then I realized that everything is turned off. No chat, no trading no rewards ..lol

The fact that "they" delete logs, delete tickets without answering them, and have this many server issues is just plain WHACK. He can afford 850Ghs of mining power, but not a decent front end.   I suppose if you want to remain underground, you have to make sacrifices  Wink
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: May 27, 2015, 10:59:39 PM
..and the badlist author is scrypt user,  but anyway, it mean something, dont you think?

Ooh, are you suggesting that badbitcoin.org and Homero Joshua Garza might actually be behind scrypt.cc itself?

I'd fucking wet myself laughing if it turned out to be true. Given the epic saga that has been the GAW/XPY ponzi/matrix scam it would be simply delicious to connect the dots from them to scrypt.cc

sry I didnt meant it like you understand, my english is bad probably. But absolutely wrong, this is what you want to mean.   I meant, if scrypt.cc is scam, it would be on badlist, and author of badlist will not use scrypt.cc.   Im happy scrypt user, fan, roi broken 2times - even with this electricity thing, now playing just with earnings. I bought a lot on panic sell for low, now checking everyday price rising, probably will rise til 1.june, we will se then.  Im naive? Ok, we will see, right? Scrypt is scam? Maybe yes, but very funny scam.

Ah, seems you have the wrong conclusion then. Badbitcoin.org has been proven to be directly involved in supporting an existing fraudulent operation with GAW/XPY and, so, if they are also promoting scrypt.cc all the while the same reasoning which has them asserting other 'cloud mining' operations to be fraudulent also applies to scrypt.cc, then the only possible conclusion is that badbitcoin is also colluding with scrypt.cc.

BTW, @SpanishSoldier, the whole point of how a Ponzi scheme ensures they keep the scam rolling so long is by letting people withdraw when they want to 'test' whether they can, because then they generally will send it straight back in to 'compound' their 'profit'. That's how it works, because everybody is satisfied that, if they wanted to, they could withdraw their funds but in the meantime they will keep 're-investing' their 'profit'.

Ponzi schemes only ever have to pay out a small fraction of the total amount that is sent to them as 'investments', as long as new suckers are brought into the scheme through . . .you guessed it, referrals.

Eventually it can't possibly keep up the needed flow of new 'investors' and the outflow threatens to increase to a larger percentage relative to the new money coming in, which ultimately results in . . . lights out.

Qua qua qua... U sound like Charlie Browns friggin teacher (thanks to ford fair lane for that one!)

Seriously, do you ever quit spouting the same old bullshit?

Let's fast forward a year from now, scryptcc are still paying out happily, they even post some pictures of their mining farm.  Then what? 2 more years, u still gonna be spinning the same bullshit?

If script cc shut down their site and take our money, please laugh in my face all you want. Until then, please be fucking off because I think I speak on behalf of the majority on this thread, no one gives a shit what you have to say.

+1 if u agree me ppl, I can't be the only 1 sick of this bullshit.

In the meantime, I'll keep pocketing my 0.1btc daily, thanks scryptcc for the steady income. I wish I was at the same level Dice was on tho!

I for one, take the information found on badbitcoin.org with a grain of salt. I made that decision based on my own findings, not necessarily from reading other people's opinion.

That said, I continue to "mine" on scrypt.cc - but I have my ROI and prefer to sit back and see what unfolds with the remainder of the KHS I have on the site. No more deposits.

I guess I'm one of those who hasn't really lost... and isn't really getting rich.
