I left a while ago after getting crushed doing some rentals. Maybe if I come back the pool will get lucky.

Come on back  Smiley
3  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive SpondooliesTech SP20 Setup [HD] on: March 24, 2015, 01:53:33 AM

which one of those SLOTS labeled as 1,2,3,4 are the slots that power the back chips ?
Thank you !

Hard to tell. Usually connector 1 & 2 or 3 & 4 is in parallel. From the picture it seem not parallel.
I don't own sp20 so i can't tell, but if you had multimeter, you can measure the connectivity between connector 1 & 2.

1&2 powers one ASICS board 3&4 powers the other ASICS board

Lol. We're paying for those 2 last blocks now.

I hear ya...  2 blocks forward 1 block back.    Smiley

Whoops, wasn't asking for advice on the power settings. BTW if you select any of the "Basic" settings, it auto puts those super high wattage figures in. Anyways, I'm happy with my current power to hashrate figures so not going to muck with those.

My pictures were intended to point out that I had the extranonce setting on 2 and was still seeing cgminer4.7.0 in contrast to what the previous poster mentioned. Trying to get that issue resolved.
As you have, plus adding #xnsub to the end of the URL and a restart worked for me on all miners.  i.e.
Code:
stratum+tcp://stratum.westhash.com:3334#xnsub

I have used this config and It doesnt seem to work in westhash.

Also, my miner has this config:

CGMINER Version : NA

what does that mean?

I cant enable extranonce.subscribe

I wasn't able to get the extranonce.subscribe to work either at Westhash.  I did contact westhash support, and below is their email response.  I ran the below commands via SSH Putty, and it worked like a champ!

The only additional thing is for you to enable extranonce.subsribe functionality. First you have to upgrade to latest firmware. Then it is not so easy, but if you are able to use SSH (download putty), you can connect as "root" (password "root") user to your miner's IP address and issue these commands:

cp /etc/bin/cgminer /etc/bin/cgminer.orig
cp /cgminer-extranonce  /usr/local/bin/cgminer
cp /cgminer-extranonce  /etc/bin/cgminer

Then set your pool connection URL like this:

stratum+tcp://stratum.westhash.com:3334#xnsub

And restart miner.

I ended up only doing a few ckdb restarts and no ckpool restart - so there was no miner reconnects.
So anyone wondering about if/when the ckpool restart is they can ignore that.
- well ckpool is finding blocks happily - and a restart ended up not being necessary Smiley

Yeah no restart!  Thanks for the updates Kano.
Lets keep finding new blocks  Grin

How does everyone feel about the dwindling hash rate?

Hopefully the hash rate picks up.   It's been 34hrs since the last block, hopefully we hit one soon  Smiley

I appreciate the info...

I just started mining a few weeks ago, and started with westhash and BAN, so I'm currently using them as my backup pools.  I just started with Kano yesterday, so I'm still waiting to see if the rewards and payouts will be better?  This is all new to me so I'm still testing different pools.

I just checked out the ckPool, and looks like a fun option....   Smiley

Had 2 drop outs (failovers to backup pool) in the last 3 hours. Any idea what happend?

I haven't had any drops outs?  Been mining CKPool solid the past 24 hrs

Ok, thanks for the info.
As it is also not a local problem (failover to backup pool -which is in Europe- was working and mining), it must have been a connectivity issue somewhere between my local provider and Kanos CKPool provider... stuffed transatlantic links, congestion at any2 IX in LAX, whatever.

Gotcha... I just started mining Kano.
Who are you using for your backup pool?

After all the blocks the pool found in the last few days and all being confirmed...not sure why the payments are not coming thru in a timely fashion??

I contacted BAN support today, and they said they are working through a back log right now.

Hopefully he is listening, because we are all on the same team

I'm however glad to see that s0br let us know about the attempted DDOS attack today, and from what I see he didn't cave to them and prevented it!

@aurel57, much better. I was wondering what that last word was Smiley Glad to have something to compare my S3 with, wondering the day I'll be so lucky.

You would think with everyone on different nodes than usual, this thread would be buzzing. But hopefully everyone can take advantage of the geo or private pools. Hoping things will get back to normal, or better than normal Smiley

LOL I am wondering if ...Really? could read it or if he is just being a good sport about it. My other 2 miners that I named after him are ...well not as nice..  Wink

I was keeping quite about your worker name wondering if ....Really? would comment.

Yep that's a better screenshot.  Your little AntMiner earned back its ROI!

Thank you - I'm honoured  Grin

I think everyone who mines on BAN should do that actually - the truth will find you blocks  Cheesy

@ s0br: Stop being a chicken sh*t & answer the questions like you keep saying you will, or stay the proven scammer you are.
Yep, that is pretty funny, but also holds some validity Smiley

Strength in Numbers...

Thank you all for the advise and guidance.  That was exactly what I was needing to know...
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Bitcoin Affiliate Network - Bonus Coins? on: March 11, 2015, 08:17:26 PM
I just started mining with BitAffNet, and was hoping someone could answer a question in regards to the Bonus coins; Doge and NMC.  For the bonus coins (Doge and NMC) payment address do I need to use Cryptsy, or will Coinbase accept them?  Thanks
