I've now completed my transfer to Bitstamp... with the difference in exchange rates between Gox and Bitstamp over the weekend it looks like it cost me ~700USD, but in my opinion it was worth every penny. I've been trying to withdraw my funds for over a month now (need to buy a car) and quite frankly I was sick of waiting on them. This is the angriest I've ever been at any company in my entire life. Customer service at MtGox is several steps below your local bank branch, the Walmart pharmacy, or the DMV. Either they're having serious liquidity issues (or worse) and they're stalling, or they just don't care about their customers. Wire from Bitstamp is still processing, but I put it in towards the end of the day on Friday, so no surprise there. (I can't wait until competition from cryptocurrencies forces banks and financial institutions to start offering service 7 days a week. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) )

Is it time to buy BTC and transfer out? What exchange can I count on to get me my money?

I have been waiting since June 24 for my transaction to go through. I'm starting to get REALLY pissed.
Support had this to say: "Sorry for the inconveniences caused. Definitely we are trying our best to process all of the withdrawals in a timely manner. We had some delays in the withdrawals however your case appears to be a surprise that it took so long and not resolved yet. We sincerely apologize for the same.
We will get back to you with an estimated time required to process the funds."
They've since contacted me with another "feel good" message with absolutely no estimate at all.
From reading this thread, apparently they're full of ********* and my predicament isn't atypical at all. Has this ever happened before? Should I be worried?

@Iron Send me a PM if you'd like, and we can work something out. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) For any serious buyers, I have records of my purchases from memorydealers.com back in 2011. Obviously I'm not going to post them in the thread as they have personal information on them, but I'll be glad to show them to any serious buyers. @Flavius sorry to hear about your fake coins ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Thanks! A couple of the 25s have never left the pouches after I bought them from memorydealers (EDIT:except to be photographed for this thread), I took one out to take a closer look, then it went right back in and they went into storage. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I'd gladly accept 35 if you're making an offer. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

One 25BTC coin and one 1BTC coin have been sold!
I still have two 25BTC misprints available.

Thanks for the support guys. I'm a long-term bull, so it's really killing me to have to sell these ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) I'm going to hang on to the last 25BTC coin for as long as possible though.

Thanks for your offer ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I might end up accepting BTC, but I'd rather not, as I'll end up having to pay a cut to mtGox to convert to USD. I started the account verification process there yesterday so I'll have that option available as a last resort. I suppose I'll welcome offers in both USD and BTC and I'll look into the trading fees and whatnot and figure out what the highest bid is that way when the time comes.

Bump. I'm going to have to cash these in one way or another pretty soon. I'd much rather sell them to a Bitcoin enthusiast and preserve their numismatic value, but I'll end up having to rip open the hologram and redeem them if no one bites ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Please don't make me destroy these pieces of Bitcoin history! The clock is ticking.....

Ignored. Serious buyers only, please.

Hello, sorry for the delay, it took my longer than anticipated to obtain my coins (they were in a VERY safe place ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ) Of the four 25BTC coins, all four are misprints (assuming 'Casacius' on the hologram indicates a misspelling). I also have three 1BTC coins (which I forgot I had even purchased lol ) of which two are misprints. I'm going to keep one of each, so as of now, I have three 25BTC misprints and one 1BTC misprint for sale. You will find pictures of the coins below. I am willing to take any steps necessary to ensure potential buyers of their authenticity, and will require escrow of a mutually agreed upon third party in the event a transaction is made. Pictures will be uploaded shortly ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Cool, I didn't know that. I'll let you guys know if any of them are misprints after I've picked them up!
|
|
|
I'm not sure if they're misspellings or not. I have them stored in another state, and I'm making arrangements to pick them up shortly, so I can let you know then. I definitely bought them in 2011, but I thought only the 1BTC coins were misprints.

Cool thanks, I see that option now. Moved.

Does this work from the qt client? I had about 700 accepted shares over the last few hours and so far no payout... Do the blocks take a really long time to confirm?

I'm also very interested in this site - I'd really like to support BTC accepting businesses as much as possible going forward (I believe that the key to making Bitcoin successful is to increase the volume of goods and services offered in BTC, since they're essentially backed by their utility).
Prices are kind of high - lowest I could find was about 24% above spot (American Eagle silver round) if my math is correct. How much is shipping? I could definitely see myself shifting 100% of my PM purchases to your site if you could get the price down to 10-15% above spot. (In fact, this would probably be my preferred method of "cashing out" of bitcoins.
Is there a review thread for your business on this forum?

I'm also unsure as to the best place to buy BTC. My first coins I bought from Coinpal (obviously not an option anymore) back in April. (Funny thing is, I completely missed the bubble and when I started paying attention to Bitcoin again they were at roughly the same price I bought them at ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) ) I'm a little intimidated at the prospect of joining an exchange (looks like I'll have to go through two or three middle men before I can actually get any money in) and I don't intend on day trading or speculating, so I was thinking about using prepaid debit cards on get-bitcoin.com. Any advice?

@ Casascius
How much markup would you expect to be able to slash from your coins if a couple competitors opened up shop? I bought some coins of yours from memorydealers and thought the markup was already pretty reasonable all things considered. Of course I've never minted my own coins, so I'm talking out of my ass.
Absolutely love your products though.
