1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Private Mining Pool - weird payout on: July 14, 2017, 03:01:56 AM
Not sure if this is the place to post this, so I apologize if it's not.

We setup our own mining pool to test some new mining hardware.  We are mining GameCredits using MPOS and NOMP.
The current block reward for GameCredits is 12.5.  Every time we find a block, the transaction shows 3 payouts, a 12.3 payout to our wallet, and two more payouts to two different wallets.  It does this every time for the exact same amounts.

We have done recursive searches on all the files, checked every config file, etc. and we can't find any trace of the other two addresses.  I did a Google search on the two addresses and the exact same addresses are tied to GlobalToken and Gulden.

Here are the addresses:

GfSu2SVihVv3PG5TVBBhtQDxbb9xuHcekC
GLzSpCwRXdwthgqKBsfVGWqBviMoMsZJPE

Has anyone seen this before?  Those addresses have to be somewhere in the GameCredit's SRC or something similar but we can't find them.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

We have our own mining pool (not open for public mining) and I have weird issue.  Where should I post this topic on the forums?

Thanks!
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / General questions about mining on: March 13, 2015, 02:14:39 PM
Hi,
First, thanks for providing this forum.  It has been a HUGE help in researching multiple topics!

I recently purchased an ASIC (Scrypt) and I have been testing for the last week.  I have joined multiple pools and it seems to be working pretty well.  The ASIC has it's own web interface and it is very easy to configure for mining pools.  I started looking at setting up my own pool so that I could mine solo.  I have been looking on the forum for an How to guide for p2pool solo mining scrypt.  I've seen a few guides but I'm looking for the definitive guide, if it exists.

Here are my questions...

1.  Is it a waste of time?
2.  How hard is it to setup a p2pool?  I'm fairly technical
3.  How much ongoing maintenance is associated when setting up a p2pool?

I'm sure I left out a few questions but any insights would be much appreciated!  Also, sorry if I posted this in the wrong place.

Thanks!
