1  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Pizza for bitcoins? on: April 06, 2015, 11:37:39 PM
Will this eventually become the world's first million-dollar pizza?
Starting at 2010 there was people predicting that this will become a million dollar pizza (and that prediction is correct). That guy is registered at 2010 and still up now. Maybe he is one of the people that become rich because of bitcoin!

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blocks never stop generating? on: April 05, 2015, 06:47:36 AM
Hello. My understanding of Bitcoin is not perfect, so I would like to ask questions about its operation. When Generating, the user will gain 50 coins after creating 120 blocks. Why does the program continue generating blocks after that point? And why does one not gain another 50 coins after generating 240 blocks?

Also, I sent a few coins to someone to test the transaction system. Even though it was just a few coins, that transaction's status currently reads "166 blocks". It seems that it will continue incrementing indefinitely. Why is this?

I thank responders for increasing my knowledge.
It continue generating blocks?! The miners now are aimed to generate as more blocks as possible.
Also you use a few bitcoins to test it? You are so rich!
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: April 05, 2015, 06:34:26 AM
Nope. I used to earn 0.0001 per day using faucets, but now I hate using faucets.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are they awake in China? Tool for determining timezones in a country on: April 05, 2015, 06:32:37 AM
Why China in the subject of this thread? Why not Europe, USA, Russia?

I guess it's just an example with no real reason behind it (or maybe it's because most BTC volume is traded in Renminbi currency)
Wait... This thread is in 2013! At that time most BTC is traded in USD and EUR! Also the site is still up after 1 year and 4 months, it is very good for such a site. BTW why this is in the Beginners & Help section? Why don't it be in Service Announcement or Off-Topic?
11  Other / Meta / Re: [Serious] Avatar Rules Discussion on: April 05, 2015, 06:29:13 AM
The other thread is still discussing gif memes so I thought I'd start a [serious] thread. We should discuss avatar rules / conventions in advance of issues arrising. Here are some discussion points to start us off. I'll add more as they're suggested.

1) Is nudity allowed? If so, to what extreme? To a non nsfw tag?
2) Is NSFL allowed? [NSFL = Not Safe For Life]
3) Is other adult content allowed?
4) Are paid avatar campaigns allowed?
5) Is copyright content allowed? How should copyright holders request deletion of infringing content?
6) Is racial / sexist content allowed?
7) Is there a limit on 'annoyingness'?
8 ) Are 'imitation' avatars allowed? Ie wearing avatars of specific companies to give the false impression of representation.
9) How should users report those with infringing avatars?
I think:
1.2.3. No! There are children around here!
4. I think it is possible (like signatures, avatars can be ignored)
5.6. No! They are illegal in some places!
7. Yes. Very annoying avatars should be banned.
8. ...what does this means?
9. Open a thread and list those users.

15  Economy / Auctions / Re: Domain bitcoinwallet.id FOR Sale on: April 05, 2015, 06:09:07 AM
Why would someone by this domain when they could just register mywallet.id or something better? I think OP is overestimating the value of his domain.
Also the seller don't have this account. The seller should get this account as this is the same as the website.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do with my BTC? on: April 05, 2015, 05:30:02 AM
Just keep the BTC. All investment and gambling have risks. If you want to get the money now then sell them right now.

18  Other / Meta / Re: Email from Bitcointalk "admin" on: April 05, 2015, 02:11:58 AM
someone probably made a software that allowed them to go through all the forum profiles, filter the ones that dont have emails public then filter those that are inactive and then work from the final list
But according to the victims, the email was sent from admin@bitcointalk.org. The forum maybe attacked (like its downtime few days before). Can the forum improve its security?
19  Other / New forum software / Re: Forum App for mobile? on: April 05, 2015, 02:09:31 AM
I agree with your idea, since i active with my phone...
And with some panning things that i need to do when i posting posts Undecided
I hope the forum admin see this thread... So i can post posts easily from my phone Grin
Me too Smiley But using the current browser (Chrome for Android) is enough for me. I think that we should keep the development for other greater features.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to your Bitcoins when you die? on: April 05, 2015, 02:07:48 AM
Never thought of this... But if only he have the access of the address and if he don't tell the others the access, then the coins is like burnt. That's why Bitcoin is precious as the supply will decrease because of this.
