Thanks for the answer, Dargo, and while I am nervous about this, it's true that Kraken is nowhere near the fiasco that Mt Gox has been. Slowness is what came forward the most in this thread, due to what I understood as the growing pains of a fledgling company, never anything scandalous like money or coins disappearing forever. I'm sending you the support ticket, and will go to my bank tomorrow morning.

Kraken is serious as well as Gox nowadays. This exchange is famous for its lost transactions (both in/out, no matter if btc or fiat), which simply dissapears for weeks, months or forever. It is not very good idea to trade there.
This guy probably won't make any friends in this thread, being so brash. However, I deposited money two weeks ago, and no news of it since. Been checking Kraken several times a day, contacted support... I still have no idea what happened to the money. It's probably in limbo, god knows where. I don't know how SEPA transfers can take so long to process. This is a bit unnerving. |

Greetings. My public ID with Kraken is AA08 N84G FWUC 22FA. I have made two SEPA deposits and they have yet to show up on the website.
Last time I had a problem, I waited two weeks before I acted, then had to wait a few days more. So, I'm posting here, even if it is a bit premature. I will wait until next week to make a support ticket.

My support ticket is #14190.
I typed my password wrong a few too many times and now I have been locked out of my account for over 5 days, no support in sight, it's something that should have been automatically resolved within 4 hours as the Kraken FAQ indicates but it hasn't.
Please, solve it ASAP. It is such a simple problem, it should not take so long.

I believe it will, I don't think Bitcoin's wild ride is over yet. It's now become a speculative commodity, and a lot of people trade in it. It's bound to it the 1000 mark again

Joke aside, while this kind of loss would be maddening, I believe it's good that you're still here talking about it. Things could always be worse than they are, people should be more light hearted. It's a good life lesson.
