1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin QT blockchain on: March 24, 2015, 10:05:04 PM
find a bootstrap.dat

Most of the waiting time isnt really a bandwidth issue, but is the fact that every block and transaction is scanned to make sure it follows all the rules.

And what should I do with that?

This http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/16769/how-to-use-the-bootstrap-dat-file-with-bitcoin-qt

Thanks a lot, I will try that.

ROFL, if you believe that box is a real miner I've got a bridge to sell you.

I agree, but at the same time I don't see anything serious not to believe to...

Is there any other way to download the QT blockchain instead of waiting approx. 2 weeks while it downloads through the wallet program?

Sorry for dumb question...

I have read through this topic several times... A little confusing situation...

What kind of proof you want more? For me wasn't enough only few pics, video in shitty quality and a listing on ebay to buy one of these units for full price. I'm interested in much more information(i have looked through the most part of companies and this lack of information has 60% of these companies). But to purchase one of these for half price - is more than enough. I'm considering to order the cheapest one. If this is SHIT I'll loose only 500$. Only than I'll be able to tell that it's a scam.

Quote
They have been offering promotions for both, "batches", but I have yet to see anyone post that they have bought a unit or received a unit, despite claims that the first batch has been sold out, and this one is almost sold out.

As I understand there are more than 5 000 000 crypto users all over the world. They claim that have sold(and as stated on their website shipped) first batch of 35 units. Do the math and you will get the answer.

P.S. I don't trust anybody and I'm not sure that these units really exists but here I must agree with hdmediaservices about the sick skepsis of the elder users. We all have lost something on scams but sometimes there are really good opportunity between these scams but everybody is scared.

P.P.S. I will... I don't know what I will do if this is SHIT and I have taken their side...

I'm new in the coin world but still skeptical about holding these coins for a long term...

I'm the only one who sees THIS and does the math?

1 Alchemist = 999$
2 Alchemists = 1998$
2 Alchemists + 1 Free = 2998$ - WHERE IS MY 1 F**KING DOLLAR??? Smiley

Looks like something went wrong...

Use Bitcoin and use escrow. Nobody here will sell to you for PayPal. (If they know what they are doing... Embarrassed)

1. Don't tell me what to do and I won't tell you where to go.
2. I wrote about using bitcoin - read carefully before posting useless posts
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Script asic miners - Fully liquid cooled 175Mh/s+ rig. on: March 18, 2015, 09:25:54 PM
Saw one on ebay but haven't found any review or additional information.

I'm not a PRO but looks like power consumption is high and yes, how about escrow?
13  Economy / Computer hardware / [wtb] Scrypt asics on: March 18, 2015, 06:44:02 PM
Interested in scrypt coin mining rigs. I have 10k usd to spend on them so feel free to offer. As payment I prefer to use paypal and only in extraordinary situation btc with escrow(paid by me). I'm located in EU.

I have read about many scams in cloud mining area and don't trust them. Anyway after cloud mining I won't have anything. If I get a unit in hands at least I will have some thing to sell, here you were right. I have found on ebay few sellers who offers knc titan cubes for about 1700-2200 usd in working order. I don't want to mess with coins, paypal is much more secure to deal with.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Need help with miner. on: March 18, 2015, 01:43:54 PM
I was thinking about asic mining and i'm limited to $10k. I looked through lots of new and used asics, searched even on the ebay. I don't understand anything in these boxes. I understand that hashing speed and power usage are main specs but there are a lot of additional specs. Which one should I choose?
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: March 18, 2015, 08:39:06 AM
I wouldn't choose any of these. Gold goes down and I predict that it will go even lower. Bitcoins are not stable and who knows what will be later. If we are talking in depositing in some kind of materials for some years I would prefer diamonds. I don't say that their value won't fall, but I'm sure that they won't fall as fast as gold and bitcoins.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Need help with miner. on: March 18, 2015, 08:22:30 AM
I have been searching the net and could not find any useful information on which scrypt miner to choose. Would like to hear from members which one is better for starting? What are the differences in scrypt, scrypt-n x11, x13 and so on?

p.s. sorry for stupid questions i'm just starting...
