That's for the 'Crypto-night' algorithm Smiley

Running as roughly 1.2Kh/s mining Bytecoin from my PC.

The ASIC is a basic 1.4Mh/s mining florin coin.

With the rise of scrypt ASIC devices, scrypt on a GPU is all but pointless.

Have a look here: https://minergate.com/

Crypto notes seem like the best option for GPU at the moment. I have just posted a question asking about profitability myself, so I may not be the best person to ask.

What algorithm do you intend to use?

Hey!

So, I'm a little confused. I make next to nothing from mining despite the setup I run. I have a decent PC (with 2 AMD 280 x's) which mines Bytecoin. I have a scrypt ASIC, which uses coinmine.pw 24/7.

The thing is, I run on (almost) 100% renewable energy. My electric costs are effectively zero, so surely mining should cause the heavens to open and rain money? Or am I missing something?

A little advice would be greatly appreciated Smiley

Thanks!
Jason

Oh I see, okay. Thank you for the technical description.

So, at the moment what is the best all-round algorithm? In terms of ASIC-resistance, compute efficiency and whatnot. I know there's probably a difference in opinion here.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Why did x11 fail? on: April 05, 2015, 04:37:12 PM
Hey,

I'm very curious, why did the x11 algorithm suddenly fall into irrelevance?

Thanks.

Hey there. Looking for a developer to do an hour's work for me. Your task will be to make a coin clone with the specifications I need. My experience with C(++) is somewhat lacking, so I need a little help for the initial work.

You'll be rewarded 0.1 BTC and a portion of the mined coins Smiley

If this is the wrong section or whatever then please move it, moderators.

Thanks!

So apparently it was a pricing error in the tax calculation :s. The price is only 0.1 BTC ....
