I guess it does make sense to get a 6950 then hacked it to a 6970..

I've played with just Guiminer and BAMT myself. What else is out there?

I like BAMT best as you can modify the core, memory and fan speeds by making a change in a config file.
Nothing t0o fancy till you play around with other switches/features.

A lot to consider on getting the right card. Memory size don't sound like it, more on the unlock-ability of shader. Some new cards don't have this option.

Does it matter on the sticker manufacture of this card. To name a few manufactures like Gigabyte, Sapphire, XFX Powercolor and HIS.

Most of the feed backs on Newegg.ca are the gamer side of things, not the bitcoin user.
