1  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience 2Pac/Compac BM1384 Stickminer Official Support Thread on: October 23, 2018, 08:03:15 PM
In the cgminer output, what is the purpose of the HW label just to the right of the MHz?

I'm running two of these on Windows 10, the third is being returned to the seller because it came defective. I adjusted the voltage as suggested for these to run better / longer but still after maybe 4 hours of operation one of them ceases to stop and become ZOMBIE. I was wondering if there's anything else on screen I can look at to give me a hint as to why only 1 seems to go ZOMBIE over time?

This was happening when running one instance of cgminer and now I am trying it using 2 instances of cgminer where each of them is focused on 1 individual stick. Running at 200MHz with a fan blowing on them.

Looks like the solution really is if using Windows whether you're overclocking or not and using a USB HUB to run each stick on its own cgminer thread. That has made all the difference to me so far. Also, I was hoping to find other pools to mine against for let's say, DigiByte but the high requirement for the lowest diff seems to get in the way of actually seeing anything other than ckpool working. If anyone has other similar pools in mind that work in a similar fashion (specifying low diff) then please do share especially for anything else but Bitcoin.

Has anyone been successful in getting any payouts mining on the vcash pool? Normally I'd leave my 2 GPU's mining overnight and then almost daily I was getting 2 VCash. Now it's been 5 days since I've gotten any type of payout yet I continue to submit shares to this pool. Anyone else having this issue? My hash rate is practically the same as it has been with a slight drop-off but nothing major.

did you see your hashes in the pool? they were correct?? after 2 days my old gpus started to work normally again. correct hashes are shown to the pool....still cannot figure out what the hell

I did see my hashes. After almost 6 days with no payout I finally got 3 transactions today for payouts. Very odd. Seems like something got backed up and suddenly fixed itself. Although after mining for all of those days straight I would have expected a better payout but at least I got something.

did something changed in the vchain pool?

i mine with some old gpus and today my hashrate dropped significantly. from like 2 - 3gh to 80 mh.

anyone?

I'm not sure about that, I haven't noticed any changes in speed on my GTX 970. But within the last several days the difficulty has been all over the place and I've been stratum communication errors quite often.

How long does it take to solve a block? Seems like I've been mining on the only pool I'm aware of as I read that solo mining is no longer feasible, yet there has been no payout nor is there any indication of what is going on at the pool level.

It's pathetic, too because some of us actually have coins sitting in this pool that were never paid out although it was requested. So basically the owners of the pool stole money from us that isn't theirs. What a scam.

Below is my list of LTC faucets that give you the best claim amount per claim. Updated daily. One round through each URL on the list and you easily get 900,000 litoshi. If you are able to claim multiple times a day, don't be shocked if you end up with 2.5 to 3 million litoshi per day.

Just FYI to all that I made some nice updates to the list today and added several more decent payout faucets.

Most of the faucet on your list can be easily found on faucetbox. You know that, right?

I know this BUT I actually spend the time picking out the best ones to save other people time. That alone should be worth a lot.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / DMD Wallet Syncing Issue on: May 03, 2015, 02:32:33 PM
I don't know why, but it seems like the more often I close and re-open Diamond-QT, something happens where the database gets corrupted and stops downloading transactions. Then I have to go through the fun of removing the database files and re-syncing from the beginning.

About a few weeks ago I re-synced everything and although I am in theory completely caught up, I am not seeing all of the coins I expect to see in my wallet. I should have 44 DMD coins (and some change) but all I see are 38 and some change. Some of my coins have since started to mint, and I do see that balance in my wallet, but I am still not seeing the 6 remaining coins I am expecting to see.

Am I missing something here?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / DMD Mature Coins & Minting on: March 27, 2015, 06:53:22 PM
How mature do coins need to be before they start minting? Is there a set timeframe for how long you have a coin before it starts minting or is there some sort of complex algorithm behind it?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / DMD Blockchain Download on: March 22, 2015, 09:12:09 PM
Does anyone have a published, recent download of the DMD blockchain? I really would like to get started mining but waiting for who knows how long is very irritating.
