If we will talk about which is better, for me it's investing in bitcoin because it can make your money grow bigger. But it still good to have funds in the bank for emergency.
Yes I totally agree with you. I will choose to invest rather than to save. Savings is good but the interest it have after a year is not that much compared to the income or interest you get from investing. But as to bitcoin, when you save your bitcoin and let it sit in your wallet, it is like investment as it grew its price. Putting money in bitcoin will take care of both saving and investing as you are investing your money in it will help in growing your money in long term and saving bitcoins for future can also bring good profits for you so instead of going for saving money in banks its good to save bitcoins as it can give you better results in compare to the interest that you can get from the banks. |

I tried to convince my friends few months back to invest in bitcoins but they didn't show any interest in it at that time and now when they see very high price of bitcoins they are regretting like anything for not believing in my advice and now they are begging me to teach them how to get bitcoins but now I seriously don't want to waste my time behind them.

Making your bitcoin stay for couple of years inside your wallet is dangerous for you. It is only like saving cash in a bank and waiting the interest to get mature. Neither of these investments is good. It is really better to let your money work for you. Don’t let your bitcoin reach maturity inside your wallet without even being circulated and earn double or triple that making it stay inside your wallet. Investing bitcoins can give you double or triple profits on your investment but you cannot ignore the risk factor attached with it and if you invest at wrong place and if your investment fails then you are likely to make big loss and comparatively holding is bit safe as people have made huge profits only by holding and even in future there are higher chances of making big profits only by holding as price will continue to increase depending on the higher demand of bitcoins. |

Majority of people in bitcoins are only because of their friends who introduced them to bitcoins and same is the case with me as I am a part of this forum and crypto world only because of my friend who told me about the bitcoins at the right time when I was really in need of finding source of income and the day I came to know about bitcoins I have earned bitcoins regularly.

For me, am not yet a trader, but read and have a little knowledge about trading. So, for the little coins I have, I sell it when there is a little rise or when I need it in cash. To every trader, they sell when there is a rise in the price of the coin they hold.
That is the right thing to do as you cannot afford to hold altcoin for a long time as price can dump at any time and in that case you are likely to sell at lower price which will not be profitable for you so sell it when you are making at least some profits as you can buy it back at the dip. |

Price is very high now so surely not the best time to invest especially if you are looking for the short term profits as price can go down in next few days so I will wait for some more time and see where price goes and if it goes below $10k once again then will think to buy some coins and if not then will hold my existing coins and sell when it hits my target price which is $15k.

The only risk of holding bitcoin is that if price crashes in future then your holding would go in vain but that is unlikely to happen as price keeps on increasing in long term so if you can hold for some more years then you can expect positive results from it but you need to make sure that you sell your bitcoins at the right time when you are making good profits from it.

Price has started to move ahead slowly now so I will not buy at current price as its too high to me and I keep on looking for short term profits so buying at this price is really risky as we may see some correction in price in coming days so will wait for the price to go below $9k and if it does then will buy some more coins at that price and if it doesn't then will hold my existing coins and wait for the right time to sell it.

Many experts have already speculated the price at the end of the year to $10k and if we take a look a graphs showing btc prices and growth we can see this turn into reality.Reports by CNN and CNBC also states somewhat this.As we are in mid November and price is above $9200 or so but still this can happen as btc has shown what of can really do so wait for our X- mas present. Where did you see price above $9200 or you mean to say $8200? As we have not achieved the price of $9k in the history of bitcoins and if it gets there then it would be a new milestone to achieve and $10k price is surely possible to achieve in this year and almost all are positive and optimistic that bitcoin will achieve that price in this year itself. |

Bitcoin is not widely used in my country nor even known. There is really not much option rather using bitcoin for online payments. I do use bitcoin daily for buying my Mobile load. Other than that, I have to convert bitcoin to fiat to be able to make use of it for my daily expenses.
As well as in our country bitcoin is not yet know by everyone. I think it will need a lot of time before we can use bitcoin without converting it into fiat. There's still a long process for us to be able spending btc by itself. I do also use it for buying my mobile load and online payments. Bitcoin will still have run a long way, before it will be adopted by everyone and local businesses. It will take some time for bitcoin to reach to each and every corner of the world but good news is bitcoin is started to gain popularity now and many people and companies are showing their interest in investing money in it but to spend it directly for buying anything will surely take long time as majority of people don't know how to get it and use it. |
