1  Economy / Gambling discussion / FortuneJack Booongo Tourney shenanigans on: May 22, 2020, 09:47:06 PM
So I'm playing at Fortunejack with no problems whatsoever.  In fact I'd been a pretty nice streak and have cashed out some and still had a nice backroll.
So when a few days later one of their providers, Booongo, started a tournament I'd figure I'd play.  Tournament lasts for a week.

I started playing for points in this tournament.  I played a lot, I had to to move up the rankings.
Like others in this tournament must be doing I set my bet amount, hit auto play (which plays until unclicked) and kept it going as much as I could.

After 4 or 5 days, I'm up to position 9, cracking top 10 is key as the prize jumps from something like $175 to $1100.

Then as we get into the last 2 days, I'm locked out.  Not out of Fortunejack, not out of all Booongo games, just the 4 games in particular I enjoyed playing.
Support gave me the usual "works on our end" and "change browsers" boiler plate, which I did to no avail.  I even logged in from mobile account.

Getting no help, and suspecting something amiss, I make a new account and low and behold, this account has no problem logging on to those 4 games and playing.

Pretty convenient that as we hit the final stretch and after playing 1000's and 1000's of spins, I'm suddenly unable to keep my top 10 position. Sounds like this tournament is stacked against unapproved accounts getting into the top 10.

Anyone ever had an issue like this?

We just finished our daily wrapup with Dennis and are approaching finalization of the 3rd party partner-customer EUR gateway software. This will enable us to finally proceed with the deployment of the crypto <-> fiat gateway with fiat-like tokens tradeable on the Heat Wallet. The scope won't be limited to the EUR / HEAT pair and EUR / BTC pairs - the plan is to eventually allow numerous trading pairs, even new aspiring ICOs and ITOs to be traded against an EUR pegged crypto token.

The legal arrangements to make this possible are still in progress, so a few weeks on this side is expected until we can go ahead with releasing the said tokens. We've got a couple of nice ITOs cooking since a good while waiting for this fiat funding opportunity. Also the Heat Ledger Ltd options giveaway and subsequent trading + share sale require fully working fiat gateway to allow influx of new money some of which will necessarily be channeled to the value of the HEAT token itself.

Eliphaz,

Thanks for the update.
As a genesis account holder, but not a frequent poster here, I for one am glad to see the long hot summer almost behind us.
Looking at the updates on the horizon it looks like the fall will be HEATing up as well.

Existing times are ahead!

Anyone else seeing a discrepancy between wallet balance and the balance seen at http://54.221.26.215 ?

Perhaps answering my own question on the discrepancy, but still an issue.
In the App Server, I see the block up to 18282, but on the blockchain explorer it is only at 17712.

I presume the "missing" forged heat in wallet are in those missing blocks.

Looking for help with Forging.  Got server up and running and it's looking good.  But when I try the API to start forging I get;

{"errorDescription":"Not authorized","errorCode":0}

Any Ideas?

Hate to burst the scammer bubble here, but Crypto poker absolutely pays and absolutely isn't a scam.

It's actually quite simple.  Cheater sometimes don't get paid at CryptoPoker, and I'm glad!  I'm just sorry that it isn't all the time.  I do appreciate the posts though.  Hopefully it will keep future scammers out.

While you scammers can go back and forth and cry about not getting paid, I hope real poker players can see through their BS and realize all of these claims have one thing in common.
None of them are from real players, they're all from freechippers (who dumped chips), or like this last guy someone who just so happen to sign up right when someone just so happened to cheat roulette, and he just so happened to be willing to go all in with 1 BTC within minutes of depositing and he just so happened wanted to w/d all of it within minutes.  Whine all you want, you were part of it, absolutely no doubt in my mind. you're lucky to get what you did back.
