I played on PokerShibes the last go around, and will give them another try. Any info on when the traffic is at the highest?
i played yesterday evening around this time and there was 30 players and 4-5 tables running the week end is more active, especially sunday with good tourney I'm glad to see you guys interested in playing. We have had low activity for awhile but things are starting to pick up with the higher Dogecoin prices. We have some active players in both EU and US evening time zones. For example, right now there are a couple ring tables at high and low buyins active, and about 15 in smaller tournaments. We've been adapting to the higher crypto prices by offering a wider range of Ring and Tournament play - including new stud and mixed games. We are currently re-creating a new Sunday tournament schedule and will soon restart a leaderboard season. Last quarter we did a trial Sunday Tourny Leaderboard (with our new frontend /backend servers). There was good participation and we sent out prizes to the top 3 places. As our Developer, Such Flush, mentioned in the above State of the Shibe update - we will be restarting promotions soon, including deposit bonuses for new and old players, referral campaigns and new Shibe related items in our rewards store (t-shirts coming in now, custom clay poker chips already printed up and looking nice, etc.) Right now we are releasing 100% of rake to freerolls and Guaranteed prize tournaments as a thank you to loyal players. Hello Shibes and Happy New Year! We're back with a year-end update from our head developer and site admin, Such Flush! You may recall my last official update State of the Shibe, March 2017 Edition. It is my duty to apologize in that I failed to deliver on the promise of more regular updates throughout the year. I had anticipated at least 1 or 2 more of these State of the Shibe posts this year. Historically, we've only done 1-2 of these a year, but I am committed to producing at least 4 State of the Shibe posts in 2018. That's my New Year's Resolution for 2018. What's yours? It is also my duty to report on the overall state of things that were looking good last time: * Infrastructure - Still on the "New" infrastructure as reported in the last update, but even more of it has been automated and moved in * Mavens software upgrade offering Razz, Stud, HORSE and other mixed games - We've kept up with updates as they come as well, reporting and squashing bugs upstream as needed * User survey undertaken - We have implemented several policies and ideas based on the results of this survey * New Sunday Tournaments - There was a pretty decently contested official Sundays season where people won special edition PokerShibes clay poker chips (status: shipped)[/li][/list] By the Numbers, since the last update: * Support: Over 400 closed tickets since 2017 May 1 * Poker Room: Completed at least 10 sets of changes tracked by a work ticket (there were surely more adjustments untracked) * Operations: Responded to 6 emergency fires such as "Site is Down" with another 6 tickets of planned updates * Development: Closed just over 20 tickets for software and infrastructure improvements In the last year we have completed the following things you might not necessarily be aware of: * Investigated numerous suspicious user accounts and banned some bad doges * Repaired our Bitcoin Deposit handler infrastructure * Handled all official support cases via support@shibes.poker* Most support cases being handled or at least responded to within 24 hours (if not, it was probably my fault and I am sorry) * Fixed some more small bugs in the frontend website as a result of support cases * Updated the Rewards Levels - Shibe now takes half as much rake to achieve as it did before * Expanded the use of our infrastructure as code and automation around our infrastructure and services * Expanded the use and functionality of our new backend software The last one is a big deal and is one of the major reasons for this posting. For at least the last 6 months we have been tracking all tournament results and hand results live, which old Shibes will remember is a huge change from our previous backend software. With the old software we were only able to run updates for rewards at best every 24 hours. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the old backend software with the new infrastructure, so rewards, according to the frontend website, have not been updated in about 9 months either. Today, we are announcing that the new backend software is officially ready for production integration and we are releasing the first integrations of the frontend website with the new backend this week. What this means for you, the valued PokerShibes player who has participated somehow in the last year: * Rewards level display in profile page will be mostly live (there's still a bit of caching/delay involved, nerds feel free to ask for more specific details) * Player rakeback via RocketFuel generated will be applied to new rewards system and Moon Points awarded * PokerShibes Clay Chips will be on sale in the Moon Points store * Deposit bonuses will be processed, awarded, and reported on the profile page * Affiliate rewards will be processed, awarded, and reported on the profile page Merry Christmas (belated) and Happy New Year! Some things have stayed the same, such as: - Shibes is now well-capitalized, all customer deposits are safe, secure and available for playing poker or withdrawal. (We hope you want to play!)
- Shibes staff is more responsive and available than ever to address player questions and concerns.
- Marketing and promotional planning
Three years ago when I started working with the management of Poker Shibes, things were exciting and it seemed like we could only keep going up. Things were also not in the best state administratively, with 6+ red text names sometimes. Roughly Two years ago when Raventhon and I took sole control of the site, things were daunting, but we felt ever more prepared to move things forward. Unfortunately both Raventhon and I were not able to work on Shibes full time. Soon after Raventhon's new job responsibilities increased both of us were able to focus on Shibes less and less and the site undoubtedly was affected. Just over a year ago, when I took over the site, it was metaphorically as if our rocket had exploded upon the launch pad. Raventhon left us, in good graces with most users, but in a very tenuous position. I promised two things: I would make sure to take care of everyone, and I would continue to operate Shibes until dogecoin stops trading. We are now in a position where our rocket has been rebuilt from the ground up and we are ready to begin preparations for take-off. This does mean old marketing plans going into affect, but it also means new ones on the table from marketeers such as /u/BlanceBlackula, /u/digitales, and /u/MCC33 Starting with this post, we will be regularly making posts detailing some of our work with regards to Shibes. May this be the first of many! In the last year we have completed (some twice! server deaths can be brutal) the following things you might not necessarily be aware of: - Investigated numerous suspicious user accounts and banned some bad doges
- Repaired our email and support infrastructure ( support@shibes.poker, admin@shibes.poker, and technical@shibes.poker all fully operational again)
- Caught up on all support cases
- Setup support notifications to our cell phones (we care about you!)
- Fixed some small bugs in the website as a result of support cases
- Setup a development environment separate from production
- Implemented our infrastructure with code
- Updated our internal wiki and work flow
In the last couple months since switching to the new infrastructure we have responded to the following emergencies (at least once): - Breaks not working
- Various ticketing issues
- Knockouts not working
Finally, we are releasing the results of Sunday Tournaments over this last quarter. This will be part of a new software release of our backend. We are very excited to announce that Sunday Leader Board is Back and there will be a prize. Possibly more than one if anyone actually gives Bioluminous a run for his doge! - The backend has been enhanced with a new API service which integrates better with Mavens

That is a very good step from your site you will get more profit because many people want to gamble on bitcoin accepting sites because they do not want to show that they are gambling because in some places it is not allowed. You will get good traffic but along with that you also need to advertise it on this forum to start a signature campaign because it will promote your site to almost all members of the forum.

This is what I see when I open your page, I hope you will fix this. I`m glad that one more site started to accept bitcoin deposits, that means a lot for this community. Slowly site by site starting to accept btc, and soon almost every site will accept btc like any other currency. Of course first sites will have more chances to grab good players.
For now its not working, but I hope you will fix this problem soon, and I will come to try your site for sure. I love to play poker, good luck!
We've updated the site domain to https://shibes.poker/Someone reported the old domain to the .EU registrar for copyright violations so we are going through the dispute resolution process with them. No idea how long it will take. |

That took some time but I'm glad its back. Good to see the admin letting us all know whats going on though. Very good. Hope everyone has a successful withdraw.

As of July 14th we have processed all withdrawals from the site! This should clear up all the outstanding issues from the previous owner. Please contact us through the subreddit if you have any questions or concerns. Going forward our priority is providing quick and active support to the community.
We'll be planning some downtime in the next few weeks as the Shibes infrastructure is moved to new servers at a new datacenter. This will coincide with some updates to the front-end site and back-end software upgrades. We'll also be adjusting the rake structure and DogeDamsel will be revamping tourney offerings with community input. We're also designing a Reload Bonus program for Shibes that have completed their deposit bonuses - you get another chance for us to match your Doge! The upgraded back-end software will offer 7-Card Stud, Stud Hi-Lo, Razz and mixed games like HORSE!

My opinion is pokershibes just ran out of doge. The huge guarantees on tournaments, and the freerolls, were never adjusted when players left (Edit: before suchflush took over site). When they were adjusted it was too little too late.
People were doing the math, over a year ago, and wondering how the site was surviving. We were told site was making just enough to cover expenses. The domain seems to be suspended due to legal activity.
This was our theory as well when Such Flush took over. Then Such Flush performed an audit of all the site activity and wallets. We haven't heard back from the .EU registrar yet so we don't know what's happening with the domain. |

I winder what can be potentially wrong with their domain. I have no idea about what is really going on with pokershibes.eu but domain problems are common excuse and indicator of scammy behaviour. I've seen it many times, most recently - HashOcean scam cloud mining, claimed that their domain was hacked as well. when they initiated their exit scam. I hope this not similar case. There is not enough activity on the site to do an exit scam. Since we took over the site from the previous incompetent admin we've been paying site expenses to keep shibes going while trying to do the right thing with our loyal players - processing their withdrawals as quickly as possible, though not as quickly as we all would like. Anyway, changes are a comin' ! We hope our users can bear with us through this and make Shibes great again! |

I don't know why I didn't see this thread till now , but I'm really excited and for sure I will give it a try I saw people streaming pokershipes but I have never tried it cause I'm not interested in Doge coins , but now it's time for some poekrshipes I guess  Now's a great day for it - the Sunday tournament schedule is about to start! |

Yes - the BTC address stays the same, so you can add it to your address book. why there is a deposit 3% fee? I can't understand that and the fee is too high, and if i deposit dogecoin there, can i also get 200% deposit bonus? If i can, i just deposit dogecoin and can avoid to pay 3% deposit fee. The fee's there to prevent people from using us as a free exchange - of course you can deposit dogecoin and avoid the fee! Your first deposit, whatever method you use, will receive the deposit bonus. |

Do you guys offer any type of table starter rake back? How does rakeback work (if you offer it)
We offer reduced rakes based on the number of players seated - all games with 2 seated players charge 1.33% rake, and rake caps gradually increase as number of seated players increase. We also offer a VIP program that allows you to earn VIP points and access to more-exclusive freerolls - the VIP points can be spent on account credits and (eventually) branded PokerShibes gear like custom decks of cards.
