Is this coin going to fork from ZCl or from BTC? If the plan is to fork from ZCL, then I guess BTC owners will have to use sign/verify message as a mechanism for claiming, right? Be aware that this mechanism is not defined for segwit type addresses, which basically leaves out everyone who moved to segwit.
ZCL and BTC both included. You own 1 ZCL --> You keep 1 ZCL + get 1 BTCP You own 1 BTC --> You keep 1 BTC + get 1 BTCP And yes, BTCP does not have SegWit hence the fork will leave out all SegWit BTC addresses. |

But i can't really use it because it has the same name as the Electrum BTC wallet i use on OSX. They should rename their wallet to something like Electrum-ZCL. Does that mean it is using the same "Appdata" folder as BTC Electrum? If that's the case, it's going to be problematic for a lot of people. Electrum (btc) stores files in a folder in the user directory. /Users/XXXXXXXX/.electrum I don't know where the Electrum-BTCPrivate will store the data. And option would be to use Electrum-BTCPrivate with a different user. Oh, I just noticed now that you're on OSX. I'm on Windows. Neverthless I will make sure to run it as a different user, just make sure it doesn't overwrite my BTC Electrum folder. Thanks for heads up! |

currently project seems to be dead, no trading of this token had been lately around and no news from anyone even though the dev was showing some seriousness about this project at start, but it seems he is busy in vacation or has left the project to autopilot !  The telegram says: "Bitcoin Quick will be listed on YoBit & Mercatox exchanges on this month". How to understand it? They made many promises but never delivered. Don't rely on their promises much. |
