don't worry about signatures, bonuses will be added tonight or tomorrow morning the latest

Has everyone successfully received their sig bounties? Smiley Smiley

I'm at work and can't login, don't have my details with me right now.

Haven't received anything yet. It's just the second day since I PM'ed WavesSignature.

oh are you sure? he said this morning the latest. if not credited it should happen any second now

I dont think anyone has actually received the signature bounty yet. Ive not seen anyone mention receiving it yet anyway. It will come soon enough im sure.

I hav received.

Oh, Thats strange then. Im not sure how they are doing it then because i sent the message to wavessignature  at 5:53 which was 10 minutes after they announced how to claim. maybe im right at the back of the list Sad

Despite the fact that the devs have stated in this thread that buying from Yobit will result in no coins. Gotta say that it's not gonna be fair on anyone whi missed the comments in this thread. I don't think this is the right way to go about it. It was obvious it would happen as it did with lisk.
Yobit will still get the coins that they bought in ico which they can send to users from their own private wallet. Its not a total loss for people buying on yobit other than paying high prices.

Yeah, but what I don't get is how people can sell Waves on Yobit if you cannot deposit !?!?! I'm assuming you cannot.
Sorry, but I never used Yobit and I also think I will never do that.
I mean, I can understand who want a huge quick profit, but I don't understand who's buying at that price.
So, are they basically selling their own Waves ?

ok, yobit bought into the ico. I havent checked how much but lets just pretend its 1000 waves. They put a tracker called waves on the site with a quantity of 1000 and people have bought at whatever price yobit put it at. Atm no one can withdraw or deposit so all that can happen is internal trading of a token called waves on yobits site. Once yobit actually receive the real waves then they can send those waves to whoever has bought them from the yobit site.

I will be lucky to have 1 wave left by the time the ico finishes. They are coming down pretty fast this past couple of days. Hopefully the user dilution will be quite high and not just held by a couple of whales.

Does anyone know when wallets will be made available for this coin? Once ico is over i dont really want to just send all my tokens to an exchange, id rather have them in a wallet if possible.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Look Bitcoin is going Down? on: May 21, 2016, 12:20:33 PM
If eth does get dumped which odds are that it will then surely bitcoin will rise a significant amount with the amount thats taken out of eth? could be a good time to stock up on more bitcoin before the halving.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will eth coin rescue btc coin from asic builders? on: May 19, 2016, 06:28:03 PM
As it stands eth has dot to the point where you need proper hardware to mine and actually get anything. Ive been mining with 20mh/s and havent hit a block in well over a month now, Even if bitcoin were to swap to gpu mining i think it would quickly become impossible to mine with anything other than a warehouse full of gpus.

Gutted, i was going to buy another small amount while the 5% bonus was still on offer. didnt realise it finished mid day today, thought it would have been at night time. Sad oh well.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin halving and what may happen next on: May 11, 2016, 06:56:35 AM
Everyone is expecting that the price will increase, but will people buy BTC at those high prices? or will people rather make use of the cheaper altcoins that are not subject to another halving or another difficulty increase etc.

if they see the price jumping they will buy when the train is started, yes, it was the same thing with the last pump i think, because when a pump start at least a double of the value is achieved i think, so you can be certain that it will not stop at 10% of the value that was pumped for example

you shouldnt underestimate the power of a buying frenzie. even when i know fine that some coin is being pumped i cant help but feel the need to buy some at some point so as not to miss out on the money that can be made riding the wave.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: May 08, 2016, 04:41:17 PM
I like in bitcoin the investment side more than the spending on everyday objects. Its nice to hold some witht he thought always their that one day it might go up in value a lot. But the other side is a bit of a worry that very soon it could just as easily drop down and make a loss.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: 2016 Has Brought a Bitcoin Awakening on: May 08, 2016, 04:11:01 PM
If anything now is the time to buy into bitcoin. All going well with adoption price should continue to go up the next few months and years. imo if we get bitcoin to double what it is now in a couple years then its still a good investment.
14  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: iPayYou Launches New Bitcoin Wallet, With Ability to Cancel Transactions on: May 07, 2016, 06:10:50 PM
the only legitimate thing i can think this would be usefull for is for canceling a transaction that too small a fee has been paid on so you dont have to wait for hours/days for it to confirm. Other than that i could only see it being used to scam people who accept payment with 0 transactions. So basically paying for coffee with bitcoin would no longer be an option.
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much will it go down? on: May 07, 2016, 05:14:44 PM
It would be nice if we did break the $1000 mark again. Once we reach thast i think alot of weak hands will sell and further spread out bitcoin so that there is a much higher number of people holding smaller amounts.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gift ideas? on: May 07, 2016, 09:23:51 AM
You could check if this is still for sale. Perfect gift for any mother. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=931553.0

Great and satisfying introduction into bitcoin.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a bear trap or pump is over? on: May 07, 2016, 08:45:35 AM
Even if this is a pump and the price drops back down its still going to hold like it has done the past few months. And pump or no pump the halving is not far away now which is going to impact the price one way or another.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: why a rise in value is a good thing on: May 07, 2016, 08:32:05 AM
Price rise is good as others have said for current holders and maybe will pull in some more inversters but the only way shops are going to start accepting bitcoin more is for more people wanting to spend.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin not have been a better option for Zimbabwe? on: May 06, 2016, 06:32:21 PM
I was thinking they could print these new notes with bitcoin private keys imbedded in each note to add some intrinsic value to the notes.

Im not even sure how many people in Zimbabwe have access to a phone or anything that could scan a bitcoin barcode to see what value the paper holds. It would be a nice idea but probably not practical for a place like Zimbabwe .
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people own 21 BTC aproximately? on: May 06, 2016, 06:29:47 PM
For all it costs for 1 bitcoin today its worth the risk of losing it to have that small chance that bitcoin hits the big time.  I know depending on country and work status it can seem alot but the potebtial for growth is huge. Id hate to have bitcoin hit stupid amounts and not gain any because i was too scared about losing a few dollars.
