1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Raspberry Pi and Gridseed 5 on: May 30, 2015, 12:25:01 PM
Hello there,

Thank you for the reply, I hope to have the Gridseed working with the the tutorial that you linked to soon Smiley

As for a rely to where the best place to buy the Gridseed in Europe, I got mine from Ebay second hand for £20 but apart from that I'm not too sure where you could get the Gridseed in Europe as I didn't really shop around too much after I saw the Ebay deal on the Gridseed I now have. Sorry as that's not really of much help to you probably Sad

Hello all,

I currently have a gridseed 5 running with Minera running to make LiteCoins on a Raspberry Pi. However, for a long time now I've been looking to find a way of mining BTC with Raspberry Pi and the gridseed or even setting something up to duel mine or just be able to switch between SHA256 and Scrypt. I know about Hashra and it seems absolutely ideal, however everywhere I go says to download it from hashra.com which hasn't been working for a long time and also with this I really need an SSH login with password. From this is there anyone who knows what I can do to get the Gridseed mining BTC and even perhaps the ability to switch from BTC to LTC as in hashra.

PS:
Does anyone have a copy of the latest hashra???

Thanks for your reply Smiley

It seems there is only one link on there that works and that link is out of date. Do you have the update URL for the latest version of Hashra, perhaps this would allow me to update?

If you dont do you know any other Gridseed compatible software for Raspberry Pi that allows me to mine SHA256 and Scypt?

Hello all,

Does anyone have a download link to the latest release of Hashra as the website hashra.com seems to be down and not coming back up for a while. Either a download link for the newest Hashra or the URL from the update section on the web GUI.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Hashra Download for Raspberry Pi on: April 14, 2015, 06:27:25 AM
Hello all,

I have recently been looking around for a OS for Raspberry Pi that supports the use of Gridseed 5 Chips as I have just ordered one, not for profit or even to make any money, just has a hobby. From this I found Hashra would be best for me. It apparently works with the Gridseed Chips in a plug and play manner (and it would be good if someone could confirm this). However, everywhere I go to says to download from Hashra.com however this URL is currently down for maintenance and should be back up shortly but I'm not sure their definition of "shortly" quite fits mine as it seems the URL has been down for quite a while. As a result does anyone know either where I can get the absolute latest download if this software? If not could someone post the update URL of their Hashra as I should hopefully get to update past 1.3 that I'm currently on (the update only goes to 1.3 as even the update URL is out of date).
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello there,

I'm not looking for anything to earn me money so 11Gh/s is plenty of power for me Smiley

7  Bitcoin / Mining support / Gridseed 5 and Raspberry Pi on: April 13, 2015, 01:48:50 PM
Hello all,

I have recently begun mining with an Antminer U2 with a raspberry pi running Minepeon and all is well. However, I have just ordered a Gridseed 5 Chip that can mine both Bitcoin and Litecoin. After looking around I realized that using the Gridseed may not be as simple as plug and play as the Antminer USB sticks are. From this does anyone know of a way I can run my Gridseed 5 with my raspberry pi, and even perhaps mine Litecoin as well as Bitcoin at the same time? (preferably Bitcoin though).

Any help would be greatly appreciated Smiley
