Why banks hate bitcoin... And why we no longer need them...
What banks can do better than bitcoin. If bitcoin also have almost all features of banks. Only must have an internet and you can use bitcoin already.
And bitcoin has faster transactions than the bank and more secure I guess.
Banks does not hate bitcoin, they are just trying to find the way to cheat it, to take the most profitable benefits from us...  , but you are in truth, we dont need them, but this "change of mind" is not easy for most of the humans, no, we are not ready to do "that step" yet, maybe soon... |

i dont know if i must be happy because there is a list about it, i mean a list with know people on with we should never believe or sad because there is a list related to bitcoin scams, that for sure will be increased with time...btw good job with that list.

I was just curious as to what wallets people use and how they keep their coins safe. I use Blockchain.info on my tablet. I don't keep my savings in that wallet due to security issues. On my PC and my Max I use Bitcoin Core. You may have to wait for blockchain to sync but it's way more secure. What are your preferences?
Until i get a new HDD i can't run a bitcoin core wallet ( yes im running out of space ), with is the one i would like to use, until then i think that multibit HD will be my current one, easy to use, very secure and really faster. |

let them waste their money on that crap. bitcoin still needs to grow before its primed for mainstream.
its not like bitcoin is just a wallet service. its a whole new economy. so let bitcoin grow and then advertise it like a whole new country, rather than just an app
People tend to forget that, bitcoin still need to improved things if we want to use it for mainstream, i hope that core bring us some good solutions for all. Maybe paypal plan to start accepting bitcoin for his services around the world in the next months... who know? |

funny because all the disadvantages that people are writing, are only due to the fact that bitcoin is not well adopted, so it's not even an intrinsic disadvantage but it can only be blamed to the adoption itself
long confirmation it's not a disadvantage either, fiat have it worse, but they have no malleability issue, so the real problem with bitcoin is malleability to make merchant more secure for accepting 0 conf transactions...
that part looks funny to me, because besides that, people dont see that we are at the moment on a great opportunity to buy more bitcoins before more and more people start to getting involved in the bitcoin world. People care about bitcoin is not well adopted and im glad that this didn't happen yet this give me more time to buy more cheap bitcoins. The mass adoption will come soon or later, never forget that. |

Yesterday is Christmas, and 4 days ahead is New Year. People need money, so they sell their Bitcoin. Which makes the price going down, that's why you have to HODL  i agree with you, and it made me happy, because with that sentence we can conclude that people are using bitcoins and this is a good news. Btw don't worry so much about the Price it will raise soon. ( i hope ) |

Not so bad, good article that some people should read... but i think they forgot one reason that should be added, the incoming halving, that's another good reason about why someone should invest in bitcoin right now |

Good post @galdur, but i have one question: why people still believe in any government? after thousands of years they didn't solve the populations problems, so for me his main structures didn't work, why we still believing on them?
there is something in people who made them forget...

I would not recommend to buy bitcoin with sms, well i'm just speculating since i don't know if there is an service who provide that, but looking how things are going through this service, im sure that it will charge to you a expensive fee. edited: ohh ty for the links, btw the first i saw, 50euro fee 1euro... |

Bitcoin Price Breaks 300; Now What? now let's wait until halving approaching, and you will see how price will raise more tan 300, for me this is just like an small announce about what is coming, of course thats my wish btw i don't expect that the price will raise like a non-stop until halving, it will drop again before the final race begins. |

government or bankers made bitcoin nothing new. i think exactly the same, maybe this is just his first step to try to take control on everything possible? i don't know if this is a good news or not... |

This is pretty damn cool. The blockchain really is being used in some great ways recently!
people should start to realize the potential of it, this is just the beginning i cant imagine how in how many ways it can be used. IMHO is a pretty good news, lets hope that people start to read all those positive things. |

i think that you really got it, "patience" is the key for the inevitable succes of the bitcoin. now bitcoin is a good scenary for all those pumps and dumps, but beleive me, this will not stay longer so much time |

to tell you the truth the best way to buy BTC is to know someone here on this forum with a nice trust reputation and contact with him, there is lot of them who sell BTC and you will have not fees also if you are in lucky maybe there is someone living near you who want to trade it, this will be best way but if you want an online solution, go for localbitcoins. |

Can we modify the software/bitcoin blockchain to allow for division and smaller denominations than a Satoshi if we decide to in the future?
ofc it can be done, also if things are going like i expected this will happend soon or later, because this will mean that more and more ppl are using it and we need more 0's |
