1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XMG] Coin Magi | CPU mining | PoS-II | PoM | Unique BLK reward | [MagiPay] on: April 23, 2015, 08:33:47 AM

I haven't touched my rigs for days and just keep them running. On average I should have 230 but you will see it drop to 150 on the pool sometimes too so you just cought my rigs on a lucky streak Smiley

Just drop a thread, it will keep you in the safe level

You may need to do other tweaking to get to the best safe level. Naturally you'll want the highest hash possible but, dropping 1 thread might not work either for you. The best way I can think of to describe it it that its like over clocking (but in your case under clocking). You just haft-to watch you hash and find the best results. If you can under clock it would be a win-win for you (power consumption verses profit wise). A little work on your end will net you more than just letting your rig mine. But once you have it sorted out it'll be business as usual.  Also it is nice to see some one that is capable of higher hash rates lowering them for the better of the community.

It was the forum, I just turned off the "notification of 1st unread message". The miner just has the usual fan noise. I just couldn't figure it out till I was sitting here waiting for it. All is good now. Cheesy
Edit. Wrong again, found block on the pool.Huh And I should have listen to feldenthorne.

Is there beeps from new posts on this forum (while logged in) or does sweet spot miner give beeps out at diff changes or something? Just curious cause they are driving my wife nuts. These are the only things that have changed prompting me to ask.
Edit. Well it seems I just got my answer, now to find out how to turn it off, or at least lower it.

PoM3 donated percentages from us older miners going to newer ones with limited hash rates for a set amount of time to help them started? Just a thought.

Nice idea! You mean this for POM3?
Why not? 1% goes automatically to the pool operator and we (the miners) never even notice it. So all that would really need to be done would have the donated % go to support PoM3 or have a separate dedicated donation option in the poll for it (so donations could still be made to the operator). The amount given to those who sign up could be based off a simple formula (their hash vs. donated hash) with a set max amount based off their hash. In this way PoM3 (donated) coin balance could be maintained. Those who would wish to take advantage of PoM3 would need to fill out a more strict set of rules. The team would need to know what they are mining with (to set a bias for max hash rate possible). A dedicated page for filing the forms would be needed (set up same way a faucet does to block the same user from getting rich off it). Just need enough hoops to discourage those who would abuse the system but not too much to stop a new miner. I think in this way we could give more to some1 with a Pentium Pro then some1 with an I7. multiple registrations from the same IP wouldn't be allowed this way, older miner could give back, and encourage new miners. Possibilities could be Mr. P. Pro getting 50-100% and Mr. I7 getting 1-20% more for lets say 3 months. Any one new could benefit, cheaters would be discouraged, and the rest of us would be pushing out the farms and helping the community grow. This would be a lot of work for the team but, I would donate to this would any one else? And yes I still have a Pentium Pro. Grin

A redefinition does not constitute a mistake when the underlying matter remains the same. Excellent work.

Awesome Joe.
Registration for the Proof of Mining is open.
Well done!
One thing there must be adjusted.
Thats rule number 3.
I know thats in there for security reasons but let me work something out for this.

I 2nd this.

I agree as well.

I've not posted on this forum very much, because I don't have a lot to contribute to the discussion yet. However, I have posted in the Magi topic on Reddit, I have asked CoinGecko to fix their broken link to the Magi website and I'm actively buying Magi across three exchanges.

I'd love to be part of the PoM, but I'm not going to post another 40 responses on here just to do so.

Security is important, I would rather be left out of PoM then have the coin damaged. I could only offer proof by a screen shot unless the pool could give some info.

I 2nd this. I am new to writing on this forum but, have been mining since Nonce-Pool 1st opened (ok 2nd or 3rd day).
I mine as much as I can on my gaming PC and have been a bag holder since my 1st coin.
The only proof I could show of this is a screen shot of my earnings from Nonce-Pool unless they could/would provide the info.
I never posted before because I really don't have anything to offer the community except my hash rate.
Thanks to Spexx I can mine while I game and giving me a real opportunity to join this POM, I forget to restart my miner.
Also just jumped pools with the same name-sake.
