6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Blockchain Wallet - Error Decrypting Wallet? on: December 21, 2012, 12:01:16 AM
Getting this message: Error Decrypting Wallet. Please check your password is correct.

However my password is correct.  It has been stored in a password manager and never changed.  I've checked for trailing spaces and manually copied/pasted the password from the manager to the webpage.  Tried Chrome and Safari.

Any ideas how this could happen?

Is there any other way that you would trust, like phone call, facetime call, copy of drivers license, etc?

Sent PayPal information for confirmation

My rate is Mt. Gox Last plus 5% at the time of purchase.

Current rate is 12.58

10 BTC would be 125.80 right now.

PM if interested.
10  Economy / Currency exchange / Will pay $126 for 10 BTC [CLOSED] on: September 23, 2012, 02:45:44 PM
I've learned that you need to pay a premium for certain BTC transactions, so I'm offering $12.6 per for 10 BTC.

My calculation is this:
    MtGox Average:   $11.9997
    PPUSD Premium:  5%
    Premium Price:     $12.599727

Price I am offering:   $12.6

As mentioned I've already done business on this forum with no complaints so hopefully that helps.

Thanks-

Well I'm still new at this, but wouldn't you normally use a Mt. Gox price?

what price are you trying to buy at?

13  Economy / Currency exchange / Who are the d-bags that reverse transactions? on: January 30, 2012, 05:25:13 PM
After seeing all the problems people have with trading via PayPal and CreditCards, I'm wondering how the scammers operate.

Are most of them using stolen cards/accounts, or are most of them people using their own accounts to be major douches?

The reason I ask is because this would make a major difference in how you go about trying to prevent scamming.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there really no quick way to buy BTC with a credit card? on: January 30, 2012, 03:30:10 PM
Who are the people canceling / scamming?

Are they they using stolen cards or actually doing this douchebaggery with their own cards?
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Is there really no quick way to buy BTC with a credit card? on: January 30, 2012, 06:24:54 AM

Is there really no quick way to buy BTC with a credit card?

Could they just use anti-fraud strategies that many online retailers use?

16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What interests you? on: January 29, 2012, 09:19:34 PM
Shorter wait times to get out of newbie land...

Good idea Forty, will try that.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many people actually use thier bitcoins to buy a service of some sort ? on: January 29, 2012, 08:54:18 PM
I see services selling visa giftcards so doesn't that mean it's easy to buy almost anything?

In that case why would it matter as long as a business takes credit cards...
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Price drop last couple of days, why?!?! on: January 29, 2012, 08:49:02 PM
By how much % +- are you referring to?

It's supposed to fluctuate somewhat.

20  Other / Beginners & Help / How much do Giftcards go for? on: January 29, 2012, 06:07:19 PM
I've noticed a lot of giftcard / BTC sales on the forums but it's not obvious what the exchange rate was at the time.

For example if a visa giftcard is worth $100, how much would you expect to pay for it?

Less than the current exchange rate, more than the current exchange rate?

Thanks-
