I help people from time to time unmasking scammers, If you would like me to have a closer look at someone or a suspicious deal, then just let me know.

That makes IOTA unique and as more people get aware of the technology, more people will be bullish on IOTA. According to Ivan on Tech IOTA is one out 3 top picks for 2018, the other 2 are Bitcoin and EOS. They have some issues now but that does not justify that ridiculous low price point.

Indeed it will be huge. Imagine ethereum with scalability and no fees. This smart contract space will become crowded, ethereum, iota, eos, tezos, rootstock, and many other platforms.

They're already working with Rootstock, likely create an oracle for it, and plan to do the same for Ethereum.

Smart Contracts as Christmas gift maybe.

Development Update:

- @cfb is currently working on the final design of IOTA, which will then be worked on for the standardization + all client development. Getting great input from Cyril and Serguei, as we are now adding the ability to have timestamps (which is also necessary for the next big thing that we're working on on top of IOTA).

What could be the "next big thing" they are working on?

The "next big thing" is Smart Contracts. Timestamps are needed for smart contracts, as a smart contract is executed based on events occurring in a timeline.

You can also confirm this by going to: http://dev.iota.org   If you scroll down to the green section where it lists some features it says:

"SMART CONTRACTS

Automation of your processes (coming soon)."

------

So 'the next big thing' and the description of 'timestamp' is clearly indicating Smart Contracts. Imagine a fully scalable system unlike Ethereum which chokes on every ICO. The more transaction the faster it is. Yes its a big thing. Smiley

I see realistically around $3-4 Billion.

IOTA is the solution.

Fast, and gets faster the more the transactions.

Zero-fees. Finally you can make transactions without any fees! Send those 'small amounts' and not have to worry about paying high and expensive fees Smiley

Hi, I have 3 questions about this really exiting looking IOTA:

1. How is it possible that a transaction in IOTA will cost nothing?
2. Has IOTA plans to work together with other cryptocurrencies besides Ethereum in the future?
3. What is the maximum number of TPS IOTA can handle? I read that a month or two ago it sucessfully did 137 TPS.

I appreciate any info Smiley

1. You have to confirm 2 to send. So you act as the user AND the "miner" at the same time.

2. Yes, they do want to build interoperability with Ethereum in future. Actually they're already working with Rootstock. I don't remember where I read the Ethereum one but you can verify Rootstock from their official tweet:https://twitter.com/RSKsmart/status/872450726131359744

3. There is no max, its a scalable system, the more the transaction and nodes the faster it gets. With almost 250 nodes they hit around 180 CTPS (confirmed transactions per second).

Iconomi might come back it's just really hard to tell and the benefits that their first mover advantage gave them seem to be fewer and fewer as the days go on.  It kinda sucks they originally collected $10,000,000 USD and the funds value has grown $50,000,000+ just based on the rise of crypto in general and we as holders don't really benefit at all from it.  When on the other hand you have coins like Taas that have collected $8,000,000 and since the end of their ICO the value of their funding has grown 25% ($2,000,000) and they've already confirmed that profits generated from overall crypto growth count as profit (as it should) and will be paid back to investors as dividends, meaning the first dividend payments already going to be 50% of that $2,000,000 and it's only been 8 days since the end of the ICO.  Meanwhile Iconomi won't provide the burn address or even tell it's investors how much they've invested in their latest ICO's until the end of the quarter, how does that make any sense and how is that transparent?

If that's true, then it sounds like a pointless system.

For example:

Let's say I collect 1000 BTC to start a crypto fund when BTC is worth $1000

I promise to pay 50% of "profit" as dividends (all calculated in USD and also counting un-invested assets)

I make no investments and BTC goes up to $2000

If I send 50% of that $1m "profit" out as dividends, then I would be refunding 500 BTC to the holders straight out of the ico money.

What is the point of collecting crypto for an investment fund, then slowly refunding the exact same crypto if the $ value of it appreciates?

This would actually be fucked up if I took 25% of the "profit", or 125 BTC for myself directly out of the ico crypto as a fee.  <----Can you confirm if Taas is doing this?  I highly doubt it, because that would be alarming.

They are pegged to the dollar. Hence their profit is based on dollars not BTC. Yes they will be 'giving back btc'.

- They're investing in crypto
- Returning profits in Dollars- (1 TAAS is $1).

Yes they used crypto to raise funds which ideally should be in dollars but no one in the fiat world just throws money into any new fund that launches. That craziness only exists in the crypto-world.

SERIOUSLY?!

WHERE ARE ALL THE SPAMMERS AND ATTACKERS!

"IOTA SPAMMERS" IS FAKE NEWS!

THERE ARE AND NEVER WILL BE!

DON'T TRUST THE LIES!

I BOUGHT IOTA BECAUSE I HEARD THAT THERE WERE GOING TO BE SPAMMERS WHO WOULD HELP ME MAKE MY TRANSACTIONS FASTER AND I WAS LIED TO!!!!

I WANT MY MONEY BACK SCAMMERS!!!!

lol. Everyone is more on the testnet rather than mainnet. If you invested without knowing whats going on then just never invest.

IOTA is the only coin that is building/developing BEFORE releasing into exchange. This is why its not on exchanges and not talked about much. When it is released it will be well developed and price will shoot out of the gate. This is the most promising piece of tech which is not 'blockchain'.

IOTA.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the future of crypto, bitcoin is not. on: March 28, 2017, 10:11:59 PM
Future is IOTA.
-The bigger the network the faster it is, it will never run into scaling issues.
-No transaction fees. Currently micropayments on Bitcoin are not even feasible due to the cost and the same will be true for Ethereum as price goes up.

IOTA is the most innovative approach and completely built from scratch.

How do you withdraw the IOTA or BTC out? In the example we see that yassin gives an address for deposit, but nowhere in the instructions does it say where we provide the address for withdrawal.

17  Economy / Services / Re: Earn $1000s PLUS a month on FOREX $200 a month for forex signals & Trade Copier on: January 11, 2017, 05:04:42 AM
Is there a full A-Z tutorial, how to set up the copier and which brokerage it works with. And will it work on a MacOS?

With the trade copier, is MetaTrader necessary?

I'm setting up account with Trader's Way. So what leverage settings should be used and how is the trade copier linked to it? All instructions will be helpful.

I just want to have an automated setup.
18  Economy / Services / Amazon/Ebay/Anywhere Purchase + Bill Payment Service - Escrow welcome on: December 21, 2016, 10:29:53 PM
Hey I'm offering to makes purchase and pay bills 1:1 at BTC-E exchange rate.

No there is no discount, this is not a carded credit card. Its my personal credit card. Escrow is welcome, though it should be a larger amount so its worth it.

Minimum of $100 otherwise I don't feel the effort in the transaction is worth it.

I will NOT purchase any items such as guns or drugs or anything illegal. Ideally your purchase should be from a reputable website because I don't want to give my credit card information to a non-trusted site unless they were using trustable payment processors like Paypal or something.

I've done a few trades selling iPads here on BCT already and you won't find any issues. It is my personal credit card which if you need proof of we can probably figure something out.

There is NO discount whether the purchase is large or small. I will be converting it to dollars immediately so I have to pay fees to sell the bitcoin too. Don't even ask. This is 100% legit service.
