Kind of surprised to see cardano, algorand and fantom here.  Huh

Also even if forbes articles are not high quality, I think this kind of stuff reaching many ears causes FUD for these projects and I prefer to stay away, even if I consider them good tech.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion about binance launchpad projects on: April 13, 2024, 06:33:15 PM
It's hard to determine which is good to hold after that it's been launched through Binance's launchpool and already tradable. But I see that you're looking at it in the long term and that's the idea of this thread of yours. Although you have already mentioned that you don't want to get some bnb and stake it for you to get it, I think you should just take that advantage if your sole focus is to get into launchpool as you'll buy them later on and that adds up to your potential purchase.

My advice, if you have a capital of $100k or more or you can hold 100BNB or more then you should stake BNB or FDUSD to join the launchpad on Binance. And the number of tokens will be divided according to the amount of BNB you stake and according to my participating experience from last season, a capital of 10k$ or less is insignificant.

Regarding the ROI of projects, we are in bull season and most projects bring quite good ROI. And most of them are quite quality projects, you can also hold them long-term to make a profit during this bull season. I also quite like participating launchpad on Binance, but due to limited capital, I haven't participated in a long time.

Thank you guys. I may give BNB staking a try.

May I ask, what's the conditions that you have to meet to stake BNB for new launchpad projects? Is a binance account with KYC enough, or it needs more things?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion about binance launchpad projects on: April 13, 2024, 05:15:23 AM
I appreciate more answers to this question, with the name of your preferred launchpad projects. Smiley

3. If you have any personal preferences, would you please share them? This is a list of binance launchpad projects, newest on top. Pick your best: https://www.coinspeaker.com/ieo/platform/binance-launchpad/

Thanks. Smiley

P.S: By "investing on launchpad projects", I mostly mean buying and hodling a token when its launch ended, got listed, and also has done its price discovery for a few weeks. Not staking BNB to get some tokens before it gets listed.

P.S: By "investing on launchpad projects", I mostly mean buying and hodling a token which has done its price discovery for a few weeks, not staking BNB to get some tokens.
Well its not really profitable when you are gonna stake few bnb cause the participamts there are a lot and you will definitely competing with other users for reward. By those clause you mentioned about investing on launchpad but not staling to buy them then you are practically saying its not on launchpad like a private sale or some sort of ICO prior to laumchpad. Cause joining Binance you are require to stake your bnb just to earn that or invest with.
I edited the original post again, since it was repeatedly misunderstood:

P.S: By "investing on launchpad projects", I mostly mean buying and hodling a token when its launch ended, got listed in binance, and also has done its price discovery for a few weeks. Not staking BNB to get some tokens before it gets listed.

anyway if you are talking about investing in these project that are getting launched through binance launchpad, as I've seen so far, most of the project that get listed in binance whether having launchpad or not, usually always grow at the end of the day, though its not uncommon to see the price of the coin tanks first the first day of listing that to be expected, most of coin nowaday giving airdrops to people after finishing certain tasks, so these people gonna dump it but its also good opportunity for us that want to make investment because that usually where you will see the lower point of price you might never see again, so far the project like ENA, Wormhole and so on, even XAI and the likes are growing good, so its definitely worth a try.

Thanks. This is the thing that I want to do.

Also, regarding the BNB staking thingy you mentioned, do you have any accurate info? Like how much your tokens will be worth on average if you stake, say, $1000 worth of BNB?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion about binance launchpad projects on: April 12, 2024, 11:22:35 AM
I've held a decent amount back then until price discovery, but I definitely wouldn't hold most of them long-term. I definitely think ENA is going to do great this cycle though.

The only project that personally I use the service is https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/arkham/
Thank you for introducing ENA and ARKM. I think ENA is not a launchpad project, but I'll check it out too.

And an interesting fact is, that even the coin98 thingy which has been used as an example of a weak launchpad project, didn't do all that bad price-wise. It pumped during the 2021 bull, dumped in 2022 like many other projects, consolidated around $0.12, and then did a 4X during the recent bull months.

There are no projects on Binance launchpad at the moment, it's all done, so what should I say here?
Thanks for your help. If you have a personal choice between the ended projects listed on that page, I'll be glad to know.

In addition, whether you receive more or less tokens depends on the amount of BNB you stake. It cannot be said that staking BNB only receives some tokens. If you stake 1000BNB, you will see that the number of tokens you receive is not small.
Do you have any personal experience regarding this? I mean, is there any cap for staked BNB there? Like, 100 BNB cap, and above that your launchpad tokens are the same even if you stake 5K?

Also, can you share which launchpad projects did you participate, and how many tokens did you get?

Wanna have a general opinion to see if BNB staking for launchpad projects is worth it...
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion about binance launchpad projects on: April 12, 2024, 02:44:58 AM
For your questions:
1. I think it would be ideal to invest what you can afford to lose. It's always going to be like that. You won't know what project you would profit in but it would be nice to put money in a project that you think will moon.
2. Aside from that, I think if the information is rare, don't buy into it. It's better for a project that has concept and details.
3. What do you mean to pick your best? Did you check your link? Everything there has ended. I have seen those pairs already in Binance. If you were to pick, it should be related to a great narrative.

I edited the original post to explain this:

P.S: By "investing on launchpad projects", I mostly mean buying and hodling a token which has done its price discovery for a few weeks, not staking BNB to get some tokens.

Also, the information being rare thingy refers to information about comparing these projects, or scoring them based on their success probability. If there's no information about a project's team or roadmap or things like this, of course I'll never invest!
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Your opinion about binance launchpad projects on: April 11, 2024, 10:09:30 PM
Hi everyone. Smiley

Looks like the bull market is here again, and the question on everyone's mind is that which trains we are going to ride this time? I'm thinking about investing on new binance launchpad projects, because I believe they provide a good balance of profit, safety and innovation. Binance has due diligence for its launchpad projects, and some of the most serious projects in the last bull run have been binance IEOs. Just look at the performance of projects like matic, harmony one, sand, ... in the last bull.

Please help me with these subjects:

1. Your general opinion of this. How good of an idea is to invest on new binance launchpad projects at this time?
2. How can I detect the best of them? I know about the usual due diligence stuff like the team, the community, tokenomics, etc. But is there anything else? Like some rating system or a site that reviews them or something? I've found these kind of information about launchpad projects to be a bit rare.
3. If you have any personal preferences, would you please share them? This is a list of binance launchpad projects, newest on top. Pick your best: https://www.coinspeaker.com/ieo/platform/binance-launchpad/

Thanks. Smiley

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Low cap altcoins best for rising price? on: September 17, 2023, 09:30:58 AM
Yes, low caps can rise 100X easier than the other alts do it, but they may also do 1/100X easier than others.  Grin

My recommendation is that to do anything with low caps, wait until you're sure that the bull has started. If you do it when there's uncertainty in the market, it may lose a lot of value before it starts going up.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC calls Algorand a security - thoughts? on: April 19, 2023, 01:02:09 AM
He has called every cryptocurrency except BTC a security before, so ALGO is not the only one. They have called DASH and a few other projects securities too in their lawsuit against bittrex.

The thing that makes ALGO special is that this guy used to be a fan of ALGO and introduce it as a high tech blockchain before:

https://twitter.com/Leerzeit/status/1459943962647711745

Everything about this guy stinks horribly...
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Cardano get so much hate? on: April 11, 2023, 08:29:20 PM
I don't consider cardano to be a hated project. People give it some FUD here and there, just like they do with anything else. I also think that it did a lot better than the other projects in terms of price, during the past years.

The only big negative that I remember was during the 2021 bull, that they figured out there's a very fundamental bug in the project which prevents it from running smart contracts and sending transactions in each block. That was a bad one.

I dunno if they did (or will do) anything about it or not, but it was a huge disappointment to me personally. I believe it was one of the reasons why ADA didn't go higher than $3 during the bull, otherwise it could have been exploded even bigger than it did.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anybody else confused by the dead-coins pump ? on: January 20, 2023, 02:53:31 PM
Most of the times it's a stupid move with no reason, and it shouldn't suggest that you invest on it.

But remember, sometimes it's a mistake people made in calling those projects dead. A lot of people considered solana and serum to be dead coins after the fall of FTX in late 2023, because FTX was a big investor. But it has been a mistake and both of those are doing pretty well now, and will probably have a future.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about these hyped projects for 2023? on: December 28, 2022, 10:42:14 AM
Before answering your question, I would like to ask you 1 thing, what makes you think 2023 is a bullish year? Because if it weren't for a bull year, no coin would be hyped, even if it was bitcoin. So if you can be sure that next year will be a bullish year, we can discuss with you which project you mentioned will be hyped. But no matter what 2023 will look like, I still recommend focusing on bitcoin from now on rather than any altcoins.
Well I don't necessarily think of 2023 as a bullish year (like 2021 was). But I do think that the crypto market, like most other markets, will form a bottom and after that there will be a long sideway / slightly bullish / slightly bearish market that can last for years before we see a considerable bullish market again.

I'm not hugely excited about 2023, but might invest a bit if the prices hit my targets.
Always try to avoid hype.  Because hype is limited for a certain time and goes away very quickly.  So if you wait for the hype or invest in believing the hype then you will never achieve anything big.  So invest there which will give you profit in long run.  It can bring you something big.  Hype can't do that Hype may or may not return you a large amount in a short period of time, but it is highly unlikely because you never know when the hype will come and go.  It will only fool you
I agree with your points.

Hype is only a factor, out of 100 factors you consider when investing. And it mostly works if you think short time (which I probably do). But remember, it's not insignificant. Learn to use it properly, and you can take advantage of its power.  Wink
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's highest amount you have earned from altcoin bounty? on: December 22, 2022, 05:21:05 PM
I too have been in a lot of bad bounties and airdrops, but a few good ones I remember are:

- STORM: IIRC I got 0.4 BTC worth of tokens. Like most of you I didn't put it to the right use though.  Grin
- Waves: I think I got about 500-600 waves. Could have been worth $36K at ATH years later, but I didn't hodl much.

Those were the days...

Anyways, are bounties even worth anything these days?  Huh
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What do you think about these hyped projects for 2023? on: December 22, 2022, 04:58:06 PM
Hello everyone.

Every once in a while I do some research here and there, to see which crypto projects are more hyped and talked about. Remember, I'm not saying these are good projects or have strong fundamentals, just that I believe they are more hyped than the others. So they can be a good investment, or a bad one.

This time I found these:

1. The obvious ones which are almost always hyped: BTC, ETH, BNB, Doge, Matic and ADA. We all know about them, so let's focus mostly on the others.
2. Polkadot (DOT)
3. ApeCoin (APE)
4. Dash 2 Trade (D2T): This one's not still in exchanges, but supposedly it's a strong crypto platform, and hyped.
5. The Graph (GRT)
6. NEAR Protocol (NEAR)
7. Decentraland (MANA)

So which one of them do you think will perform better in future? If you have any opinion for (or against) anyone of those, I'll be glad to hear it. Smiley

================
P.S: Please note that I know all about hype. I don't claim that crypto projects grow based on hype, like some thought. I just need info about these projects, or your opinion about any of them. Thanks.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Crypto to buy for 2024 ? on: December 18, 2022, 01:18:43 AM
Every person who lives with cryptos know that cryptocurrencies will dump in 2023 and in 2024 we will more grow...
so in this topic, we discuss which coin is better to buy for more gains about 10X to 1000X!

my idea :

1- ETH---10X  Shocked
2- ADA---20X  Shocked
3- MATIC---10X   Shocked
4-SHIBA--100X  Shocked
5-NEAR---50X  Shocked
6-DOT--20X  Shocked

what's your idea? Cool
Alright, the first thing that comes to the mind, is to tell you that if something belongs to the "every person knows" category, then there's a good chance that it also belongs to the "never gonna happen" category. Please research the "contrary opinion" method of market analysis.

That being said, I kind of agree with ETH, ADA, Matic and DOT in your list, if you can buy a decent bag of them. Other projects that I like: Algo, Doge, Vet and Celr.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your lost from FTX collapse on: December 06, 2022, 10:51:01 PM
I'm also one of the fortunate people who didn't lose much, but two of my friends lost crypto there...

IMHO the worst losses happened to the margin traders. People who trade with positions and leverage, and have to leave their assets in exchanges. As if liquidations and shadows aren't bad enough, they have to lose their money to exchange hacks and bankruptcies like this. Cry
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone know anything about YoBit? The exchange? on: December 01, 2022, 04:36:19 PM
I've used their exchange many times.

My opinion is that if you're gonna exchange small amounts of any listed coin in their exchange and then withdraw fast, it has been okay till now. They are not scammers who steal your things shamelessly (kind of makes them better than FTX, LoL).

But people are right to call them shady. Everything else they're famous of, like their IEOs in the old times, their pump and dump mini (or maybe micro) projects, their farming project, etc, etc has mostly made people lose money. I've heard of occasions in which someone made money there, but people losing money has been a much more frequent outcome.  Smiley

Be safe.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will FTX became the second Luna? on: November 08, 2022, 11:06:29 PM
Or, the second Mt. Gox?  Huh

The FUD is real, although I hope it won't go that bad...
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? on: November 08, 2022, 12:35:26 AM
I don't think bear is over, nope. Most probably we're gonna have some more red later.

But I don't agree with people who say we had 3-4 years of bear in the last cycle. I think we had 1 year of bearish market (2018), then about 15 months of mostly sideways activity (a BTC pump in 2019 too). Surely this doesn't mean it will be the same this time though, that remains to be seen.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Solana still a thing? on: August 04, 2022, 11:57:54 PM
I've been hearing bad things about solana since a long time ago. Long before the hack thing and the blockchain halt thing and all that happened. Right now I'm surprised why isn't it dumping worse than this...

Blockchain experts don't think of it as good technology. I used to get excited at its performance stats when they came out in 2020, but overall it didn't perform as good as they claimed it would.

I honestly don't know how well it'll perform in future, but right now I prefer to stay away.
