1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price predictions for after the halving on: July 02, 2016, 09:57:24 AM
*Price prediction post halvening.

I believe the run up to the having has been manipulation from whales, china and a small percentage of user adoption. Still I don't see much use cases emerging for the average joe, except the obvious overseas remittance.

The halvening with come and the market will experience a mass dump dropping the price low $500's usd. The following three months will drive the price to new ATH.

2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has already succeeded on: June 19, 2015, 06:48:49 PM
I think for bitcoin to become a success,  it needs several  things.

One,  frictionless transactions in real time, zero confirmation speed with one touch settlements.

Zero thought high security. Maybe third parties managing people's btc, I say this because people fuck up stupid shit a lot.

Merchants need to stop being greedy and start offering discounted prices for purchases with btc. Stop marginalizing transaction fees in to your bottom line.

Btc has to become cool to the general pub. Celebs need to start using this in movies and speaking about it IRL.

Banks need to adopt btc into their fold, I want to see btc freely exchangeable side be side with fiat on my account page.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Bull Market Coming? on: June 17, 2015, 11:33:34 AM
When it dropped $10, I hardly call that a drop in the first place. Even right now, when it's moving in the opposite direction, it's hardly a bull run. Whichever direction when it comes to bitcoin, it must move a lot and very fast, things like $20 - $30 in a matter of an hour to warrant something you would call decent. At its current pace, it seems good enough for me.

In order for you to consider bitcoin market movement a bull run, you say fluctuations must be $20+ every hour or so?

I think in regards to the last month, this looked pretty bullish. When I look at the longer term graphs it's just a pebble in the road. I'm not sure what to call this.

I don't have near enough coins!

I hope the bear was just taking a short nap and will wake, bringing the price down to suitable prices. Smiley
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffet saids: “Stay Away From Bitcoin” on: June 11, 2015, 05:40:29 AM
This is a perfect example of why Warren Buffet is one smart mother fucker.

What is bitcoin? It's a highly speculative, high risk investment, do you think Warren Buffet makes his fortunes on extremely risky investments? What does he have to gain by saying go out and buy bitcoin? Nothing, it's a zero sum game for him.  If bitcoin fails, he was right, if bitcoin becomes successful, the smart people will understand why he advised against such a speculative, high risk investment, he wins again.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: On a scale of 1 to 10, How Excited (!!!) Are You About BTC and the... on: June 11, 2015, 05:27:18 AM
I would say bitcoin takes up way more of my free time than i would like to admit. I find the technology fascinating, the smart people involved in bitcoin keep coming up with innovations which make bitcoin so much more attractive. I think there is a lot of potential with bitcoin, and this is the tip of the iceberg.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Chart] My prediction about Bitcoin Price from 2015 to 2017 on: June 03, 2015, 05:15:27 PM
I hope your graph is underestimating real future value Smiley

A friend told me about BTC around 2009-2010 ish. Explained btc in a vague manner, as neither of us really understood it. We looked into mining back in slush's pool, i think that was the name. Played with CPU mining for a bit, got pissed it overheated my computer, closed the miner to play games. Didn't look into BTC again until 2015.

How exactly do sig campaigns work?

I ready a lot of people use them, are they profitable for the amount of work to put in?

I made the mistake to jump into crypto alts.  I saw some really interesting technology,  thought it would balloon similar to btc.  I couldn't survive the emotional roller coaster and lost a bit.
I saw what was happening and coverts all assets to btc for hold.

Feels better with btc.
