8  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-07-08] Vancouver Mall ATM trades in Bitcoin on: July 08, 2016, 02:03:30 AM
There’s a curious machine inside an entrance to Vancouver Mall. It will give you cash, but it won’t take a debit card. You can give it cash, but the receipts won’t look too familiar. With the push of a button it will show your balance down to eight decimal points.

It’s a bitcoin ATM, and it’s meant to bring the complex digital currency to the masses right here in Clark County.

“There’s a whole spectrum related to bitcoin, and all the people I know use it for different things,” said Donn Lasher, a Vancouver man who installed the ATM at the mall in 2015. “It’s like a digital commodity.”

Bitcoin has long seemed the domain of the tech-obsessed, or at least of those with technical prowess. But anyone with a driver’s license or state ID can buy bitcoin or exchange it for cash at the ATM, which is run by a state-sanctioned company that takes a 5 percent cut of the transaction.

“Online exchanges require Social Security numbers, copies of utility bills, tying in a bank account,” Lasher said. “That immediately pours water on people’s enthusiasm.”

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is a profitable??? on: July 08, 2016, 01:01:17 AM
I'd like to have the opinion of some people actually mining, how did the halving affected your activity?
Cause the price didn't double that's for sure. But normally difficulty should have been able to ajust the difference between price rise and halving...

But that's just theory, anyone actually mining?

im miner but not bitcoin, just ethereum.
if we see the history of bitcoin halving, the price will be double in the end of year, so i think the price can hit $1600 in the end of this year.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: How to earn money with bitcoin ? on: July 08, 2016, 01:00:08 AM
Earning money with the bitcoin can be done on all kind of methods, I think the best method is by doing it by trading in altcoins and campaigns.
Its both not very difficult and easy to understand and its also profitable and that is of course important.
Agreed with you that signature campaign is profitable without taking risk which is most of the users here are participating in signature campaign but in trading that is risky your profit is depend on your luck. Thats why the only safe is joining in campaign if you are not in hurry to earn bitcoin

at this momenth signature campaign is the best way to earning money,, not sure when signature campaign will dead, ut im sure signature campaign can live more than 1year again..

currenty im build mining rig, hope i can have biggest hash before campaign dead.
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: July 08, 2016, 12:50:27 AM
I think a successful bitcoin trader or miner will find it easy to invite a woman to the bitcoin community because you simply cannot argue with results.

Iam trader, Im miner but introduce bitcoin is not easy as you think, trying introduce to my friend not only female, male too, but it's very hard to make them interesting to use bitcoin, it's depending about hobby, work, etc. if they are not interesting with technology im sure he not want to know about bitcoin  anymore.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 08, 2016, 12:47:39 AM
I think its time to invest your money
buy bitcoin or altcoin and hold it for the long term
bitcoin will rise after the block halving or buy some waves altcoin the price will increase in the future
but you need to patience.

not all altcoin can growing, i think better you research before buying altcoin, in this momenth you will find more than 500 altcoin in market, if you choose wrong altcoin im sure you will lost your money..
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: July 08, 2016, 12:44:55 AM
currently i mining ethereum, and im hold it, waiting rprice rising to 0.03 then holding bitcoin, i get some salary from signature campaign, so for electric cost i will use salary from campaign to pay it.

i think holding our coin from mining is better then sell it in low price.

Bitcoin Exchanges Weigh Impact As Vogogo Moves to Shutter Payments Service
Bitcoin services startup Vogogo is closing its cryptocurrency-focused payment processing service next month after it failed to gain traction, a move that comes amid the exits of several executives and reports that at least some bitcoin services will be affected in the near-term.

Announced on 5th July, the move will see Vogogo shutting down its payments service after it completed selling its risk management business. Those two business lines were major elements of Vogogo, which raised $8.5m in venture funding in August 2014 before going public last year.

The closure is notable given the relatively small size of the country's bitcoin industry and Vogogo's position as a visible service provider in Canada.

One bitcoin exchange, Coinbase, which used Vogogo as a payments processor for the Canadian market, has been affected by the shutdown, telling customers in that country that it won't be able to offer support after the end of this month.

I think the best solution is do both jobs, focus on your day job and do on bitcoin too if you have free time. Is it good ? I think it's good, so we can maximum our income with bitcoin too.

I think it's hard to take both of them, you will not have time off when you come home from work. it will be very tiring if you do both. because I have experienced
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: June 05, 2016, 04:58:36 PM
No Us dollar is national currency of USA,any country need to have his own currency, look euro currency ad look what is happening with Greece and Portugal
Yeah your right bitcoin is just a digital currency that you can use only in online transaction you can not use it in offline if internet is gone you cannot use it unlike usd or fiat you can still use it anytime anywhere offline or online.. its still a money..
very precise, and also the use of bitcoin is still limited, usually only for a certain person, and everyone is not likely to use bitcoin, but the dollar can be used by everyone, without restrictions
18  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: June 05, 2016, 04:49:37 PM
The halving will affect the bitcoin price in short term.

you are wrong, the effect of halving will make bitcoin prices in the long term, until the end of the year, even in 2017 will continue to feel the rise in prices of halving

How earn Bitcoins fast and free??
How earn Money fast and free??
How earn Gold fast and free??

There is no easy get rich quick scheme, you need earn bitcoin by hardwork, like everyone else.
One exception is gambling, u can double fast, but you will loose even faster.

I only know how to earn bitcoins fast but absolute it is not free. I would suggest that investing in bitcoin using your real money.
And after buying just store it to your wallet and hold. And just wait for the price of bitcoin to increase.
For sure you will earn from that.

yes of the three mentioned only bitcoin easiest to get for free. it also can get faster if you know way. such as the giveaway of gambling sites is free and quick to get bitcoin
