we initially had alex rossi to do ico but he wouldnt be able to be around when ico ends, you can see his post earlier on in the thread.
placebo is a respected community member, moderator at c-cex and helped turn around BT into BTX so that everyone invested didnt everything and got at least some btc back, everyone backs scam coins or whatever without knowing it though

personally i always put at least a little on ICO's because you never know what can hit off, i also try to invest/buy coins that aim for real world use even if they turn out to be scams because crypto NEEDS new money coming into it if it wishes to survive because otherwise it will eat itself
i will be investing in the ico nearer the times end, just hope something comes of it, would be silly to do all this work for a few btc's when with this idea you could actually change the world

You also don't use capital letters. everyone is entitled to thier own opinion, you have given yours repeatedly and i have repsected that and tried to explain my teams position but its now verging on boring/spam so please stop my team felt an ico served ours and the communities interest best, if people have better ideas on how to raise the funds for our development and give everyone in the community an equal chance of involvement then please let me know and my team will do it. we can't get any fairer than that
you do not have a team! you do not have development you will leave as soon as this terrible coin hits another scam exchange. Same like the 1000 other scam coins from you or your scammy friends! launchign a coin is a big task so naturally every coin tends to have a team, i have explained in the past the group is made of 3 core members with others on the outskirts to help out with things we dont have the skillset to do. I saw placebo on a lot of scam coins.. I have no idea why Devs want him as an escrow, its probably him escrowing himself.

Maybe you should rename this to "Red Flag Coin"... or "Too obvious coin"...   Maybe a mining pool... For sure not what turns people off so much about this coin? what would make it something people would like to invest in? so far no one has actually answered and we have done nothing wrong, we will be as open as we possibly can with the community and also listen to what you have to say so we are all ears to suggestions/constructive criticism |

Interesting idea and good algorithm. Are you planning to set up some partnerships with clubs and bars to accept the coin?
with ico funds we are hoping to meet with clubs and bars and discuss introducing it, the ico funds will also be used partly to implement the payment system in club environments, as well as general promotion and advertising, in ibiza you see big billboards which clubs use to promotoe whoever is coming to thier club that week, one of our aims would be to have an NLF ad campaign if we raise enough. i can understand being tentative towards investing but ive seen a lot shadier coins being invested in thier tenfolds, if we get nothing in this ico, we will find a way to fund our coin because we really believe it can go somewhere |

we arent trying to sell a product, we are providing a payment system with a unique real world concept and are giving the world of crypto a chance to support it.
we have a core team of three people, with a few others on the outskirts helping with things we cant provide.
we plan to stick with this coin regardless of price/peoples opinions. nobody likes premines or instamines either and with an ico the supply will be controlled by the community. most coins you see are scams and we should invest at our own risks but we believe this is a coin to take a risk on

Implying Ibizia clubs wouldn't just make their own coins to use as secure tokens instead of letting some random people party for free. If you would be serious you would just make a coin and go to them straight without releasing it on the open market.

+1 I'm tired of this stupid ICO-IPO-premine-scam. Those ninja so-called fair launch are bigger scams then those ICO coins, as those ninja launches are mining for 1 or 2 days max, and dev has everything ready and can easily mine 10% before other people have the opportunity to mine theirself, so ICO are more fair then those ninja launches. Remember that people don't work for free, so... ICO are not bad, a lot of ICO coins give some pretty good results for their investors, and who can be against Ibiza, i like the idea around this coin. You know what time it is when Placebo enters a topic. It's time to leave. Edit: People should work free. Bitcoin was free too. They should work hard so a coin gets real value. This is just copy/paste and lalalalala I want money. people seem to forget satoshi was holding a lot of his coin which he mined super easy because no one was into btc then, me and my team arent depending on this to be paid, the ico is purely for coin development which will cost money to make a success |

Clasic scam. You will buy your own coins... (for free..LOL) And then you will dump on market. Hey. You are clever.  it would be blatantly obvious if we did try to buy our own coin, buying in smaller amounts originating from the same wallet, in crypto this has happened before and the blockchain doesnt lie. alexrossi is a respected escrower and he wouldnt let such a scam happen. as i said we need these funds to implement our plan, if you dont wish to invest then i can understand, if you have a better idea as how to raise the funds for our development then i would love to hear it but if not kindly move along after giving your 0.02 BTCs worth. the plan is widespread adoption but my team has identified ibiza as a good place to start. the economic structure is pretty simple, people buy the coins use them for drinks and services in ibiza and then coins get sold, its a classic economy that has proven time and time again it works. |

 NLF will become one of the most well known cryptocurrencies once we have completed the main roadmap:
1. Mobile wallet – there is a huge market potential in mobile as over 1 billion people use a smartphone with most being the younger generation who are the main engagers in nightlife. The mobile wallet will be easy to use and provide easy purchase methods for the end user. That is essential in getting the masses to adopt NLF as that is the only way the coin will thrive. We hope to have a feature called Nightlife mode in which the UI becomes as simple as possible to use, with a QR code scanner to receive the address. The mobile wallet is an essential feature to the coin and will be the main push technology wise in terms of useability.
2. Real world adoption - Some of the ICO funds will be used for a big push in promotion in advertising outside of crypto. Online and in pre-determined areas. Our first target for real life adoption is Ibiza. Ibiza is often the trendsetter in the nightlife sector with about 2 million people visiting ibiza as tourists during the summer months. We plan to arrange meetings with local PR companies and major clubs with the aim of getting them to accept NLF as a payment method.
There are many benefits to using NLF as a payment method in the club scene. People won't have to worry about carrying cash around on a night out. They can top up their NLF and then head out for the night. Quicker payment at a bar will also help decrease queue times in busy environments. And people who have had too much to drink can still pay with ease with the nightlife mode feature.
3. Pushes for adoption in wider areas - Roughly 700,000 Ibiza visitors are from the UK. If Ibiza is successful in adoption then a fair amount of people will be returning with experience of NLF. We hope to begin getting major clubs and bars in main cities in the UK to adopt NLF as a payment system and at this point we will have a successful track record in ibiza to back up the currency. Naturally this will take some time to be adopted even on a small scale and we believe getting widespread adoption might take until 2016 but we aim to do it as soon as possible.
4. Superstake for merchants - We want to encourage merchants to hold onto the coin longer than just converting into btc and then fiat. The superstake will adjust in percentage to how much the merchant is making in NLF for example if a merchant has sold products for 10,000 NLF he will receive more than a merchant bringing in 1000 NLF. Nearer the time we will publish a full whitepaper on the matter. This will be started coinciding with adoption in places outwith our initial target of Ibiza and will encourage trading and keep the coin healthy and hopefully with a stable price too.
Nightlife is a long term project but we firmly believe we can pave the way for crypto in the real world. Supporting our ICO will help us be recognized as a professional group.
