R-A-T-E has updated the website for us with the new links, and also informed me that the seednodes that have been hardcoded into the wallet will be expiring. I will be able to throw up one node myself. If anyone else has a node (preferably a daemon run on a VPS or good server) let me know and we can code it in too.

My job was social sites + website + VPS hosting. One day before we hit Bittrex. CEO walked away. I tried to reach him many days. Three days ago. He sent me passwords to bitcoitalk account + twiter + github. I like XRA so i wanted to help a bit. So i made a link to the new thread. And updated website. I can take care of website in the future. If anyone has some suggestions. Share them in the thread. (about website) I will watch this thread. Thank you for clearing that up. Given the support and general interest we've seen since presstab put his stamp on it I guess it's his loss  Ya, I noticed that too. "Im the original this and that people" coming out of the woodworks now that the presstab name is on it. You had your chance, and threw it away! LOL. Too late "originals". Would anyone be interested in donating some XRA or BTC to help me cover some server costs to host my custom PoS explorer for XRA? Check out presstab.pw to get an example of what it would look like, it is geared for information for PoS coins. Has richlist address claiming, stake weight charts, PoS difficulty charts, order book with all exchanges listed on it, etc. I am thinking about starting to stake some XRA for the fun of it, would be a useful trade for me.

That is cool. So you burned almost 1.5% of total supply in 5 days. How long will Apollo program continue? I´m going to vote too. Ratecoin is backed by hashes. ( Miner Apollo program) We have one KNC Neptune (3 TH) for this program. Unit is earning around 0.0305 BTC per day. ( 0.213 BTC per week) BTC are exchanged to XRA. ( Yobit exchange) Bought XRA is burned. This project will continue until KNC Neptune will not be profitable anymore.... (I guess 3 moths) We hope it will cut total supply to 50% at least. |

In this case of the burn address, instead of using public key, the value 0 is used. So, the only way you could spend it is if you could generate a private key which had a public key of 0, which is proven to be impossible. I will burn coins from Appollo program in few hours....(And it will continue every day) |

Here is my suggestion to improve ratecoin, this is what ratecoin needs, so DEV please fix these ASAP: A website with social media buttons Add a description & an About section in the website where coin basic info is shown, and other links to important sites connected with it- Make facebook,
twitter, linkedin and google+ pages Make an explorer- Make a faucet that gives out free XRA
- Add XRA to Bittrex and C-Cex exchanges
- Media featuring, contact bitcoin newspapers to feature your coin: http://www.coindesk.com/ http://cointelegraph.com/

What should be done with coins from miner Apollo program?
Poll looks very clear.
Coins will be burned.

As far as what should be done with the mined coins. What about a 50/50 split. Half coins burned and the other half used to fund developments?
I would go for the "burn them all" approach I will create poll for this. Edit: Done. |

Good idea. I will add this oprion too. And another option can be split the coins tot he first 20 wallets in richlist. Options are: 1) coins will be burned 2) coins will be sold in auction (every holder of XRA will get discount 15%) 3) coins will be used as a bounty for next development. 4) 50/50 split, half coins burned ant the other half used for bounties. 5) Coins will be split to the first 20 wallets in richlist. (except the first one....it is always exchange) Any other suggestions? |
