1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What happened to Payeer's PayPal option? on: March 17, 2014, 08:45:43 PM
Would appreciate a slightly higher level of discussion on this topic. Can anyone provide links or references to Payeer.com establishing that it is in-fact stealing money, or otherwise dishonest?

Maybe Paypal cut them off - they only had the "send to" option in the first place. No way to move money from Paypal to Payeer.

2  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC-e Volume bars - Bug or manipulation? on: October 31, 2013, 05:27:36 PM
I don't know the answer to your specific question. However, I have noticed that there are issues on Cryptocoincharts as of late.

If you look at the historical data on NMC/USD you'll note that there's no information beyond the last month. If you select 3-month or 1-year, you still get the same 3 week span. Note that I'm using BTC-E as the source for data. It seems to work OK when selecting other exchanges, but not many trade NMC.  I've tried tweaking the link parameters, but that doesn't fix it. Maybe it is a BTC-E issue?

As far as I know PayPal doesn't work with any exchange.

Go here for Bitinstant support

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain.info wallet on iOS - install it now! on: October 08, 2012, 03:07:02 PM
Blockchain It works on my iPhone 4S. No jailbreak required, I got it from the App Store.

There were only two tricky parts:
 - the QR code you need to link to your blockchain.info account is under My Wallet> Account Settings > Devices on their website.
 - the Captcha image is very easy to read and type. Just ignore the little squiggles at the front of the ascii characters - only type what looks like letters/numbers.

I've already confirmed it allows money to pass into the wallet, and out. QR code functionality also work.

So the "promotion" out of Newbie land is automatic, provided the user meets the minimum posts and hours requirement?

I can report that Ken did eventually get things corrected. I'm trading now.

My advice: don't try deposits in cash through a real bank.
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cryptoxchange - phone no disconnected, no email replies on: February 24, 2012, 05:24:36 PM
So I was able to reach Ken by cellphone, and he advised that he would get things set right. I also got a response from Mahin, that it was being checked out.

Afterward he asked for my deposit information via email, which had been sent twice already. Anyway, I'm now waiting for them to turn this around - but I feel a tad bit better about the potential that my money is not lost.

It seems that cash deposits to Bank Of America are not going to be a good way to move money into Crpto X Change.

What I think probably doesn't enter into it, but if I were Crypto X Change I'd monitor the forums to see if anyone was having trouble.

Day 7 and still no response.

The on-line help doesn't work - nobody is ever on-line. The "we're off-line please leave a message" is also broken because it just opens a blank email in the user's default email program.

I'm also having big problems with Crypto X Change. I deposited CASH via their Bank Of America account on Feb. 16th. As instructed by Ken, I send the transaction details to them, along with my Crypto X Change account number.  It has been almost a week, and the money has not been transferred to my balance.

They have not replied to repeated email requests, and there is no on-line help despite the indication on their website.
