is there an ANN page or anything? I did search but didn't find anything

I have lost several thousand XMG to this.. however the bulk were mined on accidentally forked chains so they didn't really exist to begin with.

I am ready to sell anyone my 7k sh..t-magi coins by 0.00005btc/xmg now. PM who interested.
How could you send them? According to my wallet, the last block was generated > 30 minutes ago

No joy. With the latest (1.4.1) wallet, bootstrapped from the zipped blockchain I can't sync higher than 1446791.
The wallet says about 80 blocks behind and 2 (!) days out of date.
Now I'm 98 blocks behind. Still no further than 1446791 with 11 active connections to the network.

Really hoping the issues can be fix soon and have everything back to normal. It's my favorite coin to CPU mine. I can see Joe is working hard for a fix and I thank him for his time. Love this coin but I just want it back to running smoothly again Likewise

Guys what's the current state of the blockchain? I participated in solo mining earlier in the week however that was lost due to the hardfork to 'fix' the accidental fork. Now I look again and once more the supranova pool is down and my wallet won't sync. I downloaded the new build, purged my databases and resynced. I've been a supporter of Magi and mining on and off since 2015 - I can't believe what has happened this week I think we are really stretching our credibility with our users and exchanges.

Bittrex already updated Magi wallet and is back online! Not my bittrex? Same, still offline for me

|
|
Personally I am strongly against a hard fork to revert the split in principle. Is there no way just to role out the fix on top of the current chain? F/D: I mined a few of those 43 XMG blocks

Any difference in SSD compared to HDD in mining, (I don't care about slow loading of the system) ?
No difference for mining

So just a quick survery, if you're mining eth/etc/expanse, are you dual mining? What are you mining with it? Do you think it's worth it, and what's your hashrates?
Yes I dual mine, but I focus on the less profitable coins to get in while the difficulty is low Hash rates wise, well this depends on your hardware, your tweaks and your personal settings. I'm afraid there's no substitute for methodical testing and tweaking to find the sweet-spot for your hardware.

Can You send me Your exact settings?
My current settings (more tweaking to be done later after work ) are: -96mV 0% power change 1300 GPU clock 2200 GPU memory Everything else is stock including the BIOS
|
|
|
Still experimenting with mine, however I can confirm even at -96 mV it is stable and happy.
Additionally, the reduced voltage means the GPU can hit higher speeds which (although less important than memory speeds) still makes a difference.

Never mind, some problem with signature maybe this patcher fix all these problems. Only there are cons, but not for mining. If you don't want this just run again the patcher or uninstall drivers and install new one it will over write.
What are the cons? I'm only using this machine for mining.

|
|
Huh.. so the bizzare thing is I do not have a modified BIOS, but running the patcher fixed the problem.. Thank you all very much for your inputs

I've tried the following - individually and manually.

Hi guys, I've been running an RX480 in one machine flawlessly for close to a year. Last night I swapped it out with a 580 (still need to tweak the memory timings ) but everything is fine there. However I took the 480 and put it in to an older machine (XPS420) so I could continue mining with it. The XPS420 machine I previously was using for CPU mining along with an HD 4870 (very old card now) which was just sitting there not mining (but working correctly). I am completely unable to install the 480 in this second machine. I've done a clean install of Windows 10 x64 using the latest version from the Microsoft website before starting. Under device manager, the 480 appears with a yellow exclamation mark with the error 'Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)'. - I've tried using the AMD drivers from my first machine (known working with this card)
- I've then removed the drivers in safe mode using DDU and the latest drivers from AMD's website.
In all cases the driver attempts to install, the screen flashes black and then the driver installation fails. I've checked and the card is correctly mounted on the motherboard, it is getting sufficient power via it's 1x6pin connector I think - (the 4870 that was in there before could draw up to 280W via 2x6pin connections without problem). Any ideas how to solve this? I was up until 2am last night trying to solve this and have pretty much run out of ideas.

Anyone else having problems syncing the official wallet? I'm running 2.0.5 and everything has been fine for more than a month, however for the last three or more days it has been stuck unable to update. I have two connections apparently, however I never download any blocks after 1231461. Tried restarting a few times, no luck. EDIT: Running getpeerinfo in the client results in this: [ { "addr" : "96.43.131.82:9323", "services" : "00000001", "lastsend" : 1488968959, "lastrecv" : 1488968960, "conntime" : 1488968883, "version" : 10100, "subver" : "Nexus[v0.2.1.0 - LLD Beta]/ DB [0.1.1] PROTOCOL [v0.1.1]", "inbound" : false, "releasetime" : 0, "height" : 1238346, "banscore" : 0 }, { "addr" : "136.243.14.170:9323", "services" : "00000001", "lastsend" : 1488969739, "lastrecv" : 1488969739, "conntime" : 1488969738, "version" : 10100, "subver" : "Nexus[v0.2.2.3 - LLD Stable]/ DB [0.1.1] PROTOCOL [v0.1.1]", "inbound" : false, "releasetime" : 0, "height" : 1231461, "banscore" : 0 } ]
