Don't worry those countries are pretty much irrelevant sh*tholes.  Once they see that everybody else is using bitcoin they will change their mind.
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: After 13 Years with No Charges, British Prisoner at Gitmo Finally Released on: November 04, 2015, 10:27:11 AM
His life is ruined, but so were the lives of the victims and families of 9/11. Guantanamo is a disgrace. We could have dealt with these people in a lawful way, dispensing justice without putting such a stain on our national honor

His life doesn't  have to be ruined.  He has life. He can move on. Hopefully he doesn't become a life long  hater and  terrorist of the US.

lost 13 years of his life. will the government pay for that?

Why would the government do that? That money would be better spent on the families that lost people in ANY terrorist attack.

Or spent on the families of the 400,000 iraqi civillians that were killed during the illegal Iraq war.

Taiwan will regret their decision and backtrack on this in the future. Old people in government are afraid of new technology.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: POP QUIZ: Do you believe that BTC is the world's future money system? on: November 04, 2015, 10:15:29 AM
I think it will become the new standard within the next 5 years. I already see a lot of digital goods venders accepting it nowadays.
Bitcoins can never be standardized in real market.Everyone knows its drawbacks.
That's why Big guns like google, facebook doesn't take much interest in cryptocurrencies. All of them are waiting to see where it goes.
Well fine, I guess I won't buy play store apps or facebook ad credits with bitcoin  Roll Eyes. That is totally the benchmark for internet transactions.

16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ransomware, the best thing that has happened to Bitcoin on: November 03, 2015, 01:39:32 PM
This is disgusting.

Scammers are scammers, they can be avoided.

But just brutal hackers like this virusing PC's is just horrible.

We need a better operating system, windows is just a pure crap that can be exploited in so many ways.
Well, I heard that linux is pretty safe but in my country not many people are using it because people find it strange to use it Sad
Well personally, i never use linux in my whole life before so i don't know how it works Roll Eyes
There have been quite a few botnets made for linux clients as well. It is not 100% safe but it really depends on the competency of the user.
