Is there any practical way to take a short position against MAXcoin?
No. But why would you? Most shitcoins will die, but maxcoin are likely to pump again during the next bullrun. They are trying to be listed on more exchanges I saw all the twitter messages to a dozen exchanges asking for listing with application forms handed in. If we see more liquidity then maybe you can dump on some newcomers soon. |

A lot of people invested around 10 cents and I can see BTC price has continued to bottom seems to be heading for low ` $3000 range so we may see many reach 3 cents if this bear market keeps up. Not sure how the land auction will play out next month..

Really surprised the price is holding at 5 cents USD, not many weak hands selling volume hasn't changed much on the main exchanges.

As soon as the team announced the ASIC miners were developed I knew this sort of crap was going to happen. People need to accept that ASIC mining your going to almost always lose ROI if your not setting up a large scale mining operation you should just forget about it and put that money into buying alt coins on the dips instead of trying to make profit mining, leave the ASIC mining to the big players because they have proven over and over with various ASIC mined blockchains that they are going to out perform you.

Great works done by Circle, new partner of Poloniex. It seems that Poloniex will become great again this year. They have a long way to go though. For those fed up with Poloniex you should know that Bittrex has opened its doors to new registration for customers again. Try and get listed on binance and Kucoin don't worry about poloniex that exchange is dying.

Believe the hardfork will have a changed in algo, but XMR's change in algo was to counter ASICs. BCN devs have said that they wont consider a change in algo against ASICs until they perceive it as a threat.
Nobody is going to risk getting their ROI for their ASIC miners to mine BCN so yeah I doubt ASIC's are going to be providing hashing power for this coin unless it has some profits to give that are worthy. |

Does anyone know why Siacoin is "Frozen" on Poloniex? I'm not looking to sell, I'm holding for a long time but I just noticed it was frozen you can't sell or buy it. Normally if wallet was down you still would be able to sell it. And it would tell you the wallet was down. This is strange.
They had sync problem with blockchain at the moment, i guess it will be OK by evening Pacific time or may be tomorrow. You are holding the coin on the wrong exchange. We all know that poloniex is problematic with the wallet (deposit/withdrawal) but you are still not aware. Siacoin is now more concentrated in Bittrex because the volume is larger. The big players also moved to Bittrex. Leave that rotten exchange and move your balance. Agreed 6 weeks its been since the acquisition of Poloniex by Circle and nothing has been improved. |

Antminer A3 is on the way to become another useless D3, 1 week ago the A3 would make you a whopping 19K USD a month, today it is at 1K. The more A3's they create the more your earnings go with it, but antminer will always make a profit in the process. I bought mine at 2230 USD, now they selling at 980USD!!!!  you could of just purchased siacoin at 47 satoshi's in December 2017 and stashed a few million away that would of been a much better investment where do you see such amount of SC on sale? They need to add Siacoin to their markets. This coin is getting Bitmain and Obelisk ASIC miners in a few months which means more value.
