1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Localbitcoins bans whole countries on: January 26, 2020, 10:12:22 AM
Its all about regulation and localbitcoins can no more be considered as peer 2 peer exchange as it is just following same regulatory guidelines set for centralized crypto-trading platforms.

It may be forced to them and looks like they don't have any other choice left unless they want to have same fate as bitmixer or other anonymous crypto-platforms.
2  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hackers and their use of mixing services on: January 25, 2020, 01:31:43 PM
Is this one of the reason why a long running and trusted bitcoin mixing service bitmixer stopped their operation without any prior notice. An anoymous betting platform like directbet also closed their door. Looks like low kyc or anything around bitcoin without kyc is getting threatend by authorities for possible involvement in money laundering.
3  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: where to buy a decent amount of btc in Aus?? on: January 25, 2020, 06:08:42 AM
In australia its really hard to buy bitcoin being anonymous and with recent rule you can get caught if you are dealing more than $10,000 in cash within one year. Therefore you cant buy more than $10000 worth of bitcoin in ayear with cash. Also finding sellers who are willing to deal in cash or bank deposit is very rare in p2p platforms without identity verification.

From what i have learnt its impossible to buy bitcoin anonymously in australia but there is small loop hole which allow you to cash out bitcoin anonymously.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk finally weighs in on Bitcoin in a longer than usual commentary on: January 25, 2020, 04:43:39 AM
Co-founded paypal so he like centralized financial system that is regulated and manipulated by private entities. He loves when people pays heavy fees on each transaction and people keep billions of dollar in their online payment account without getting any interest on it, those numbers are in billions. Imagine how much it will be in interest from billion dollar even when interest rate is low.

He might not make hate statement against bitcoin but for sure he dont like to support it because he havent thought of getting back to finance space anytime soon.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I Crypto on: January 24, 2020, 11:34:42 PM
I think something like #CryptoUser is already quite popular, why not just use that? Are you trying to build another hashtag to market your business or what?
I agree with DarkDays, rather than creating new hashtag for the same purpose we should try to post more on existing and popular hashtags.

There are not many people who use crypto in their daily life because most of them are investors not consumers. Lending and cross border payment are some of the successful financial space for crypto and i think we need to focus on that rather than daily use.
6  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can you guys identify Whale move? on: January 24, 2020, 01:04:22 PM
Follow @whale_alert on twitter if you are really interested to know transactions involving large sum of bitcoin or crypto. Most of the time these large transaction might not cause any market movement but hype around it can cause fomo and panic. Its hard to predict market move or whale move just by looking at the amount being transferred between addresses.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is stopping the US Government from outright BANNING Bitcoin? on: January 24, 2020, 03:04:14 AM
US is well developed country with good practice of democracy so opinion of 3% of population also matters. Most of the crypto based companies are from US and have customers around the world so they cant just ban bitcoin outright, this wil affect customers around the globe and they will also loss significant taxes from those companies.

World follow the trend set by US which is quite positive for bitcoin economy.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So...Is Bitcoin the ultimate coin that does not need more development? on: January 23, 2020, 01:23:57 PM
# anybody can fork bitcoin and add any improvement they like
# its opensource and improvement within bitcoin itself is possible when required and if everyone is willing to do so

However with every improvement we have left with countless number of bitcoin clones and split of overall bitcoin community. Most of the forks or hardfork are lead by group of people with financial motive rather than motive to improve the performance of original bitcoin network.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sigh... Do i need to hold and sell it later or now? Quite tricky situation. on: January 23, 2020, 12:02:03 PM
There are crypto lenders out there where you can take usdt against your bitcoin by paying just a little interest. By this you dont have to miss the next bull run and can even get cash for your immediate need.

But if there will be a dump dont forget to liquidate your crypto inside the lending platform and pay what you have taken.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Air, Water, Bitcoin on: January 23, 2020, 07:42:37 AM
Will the capitalism die with decentralized currency? No because most of the decentralized currency were devleoped by corporation and slowly by banks. There will be always manipulation with the price of crypto even though the supply might not be manipulated. There will be more and more entities who will take commission from each crypto transaction in near future.

There is no logical comparision between bitcoin and air, water.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing Number, Who Own 1 bitcoin on: January 23, 2020, 07:06:17 AM
For early adopters it was easy to get more than 1 bitcoin doing small work or giving service for bitcoin. There were many bounty hunters who have promoted ICO during crypto boom and have made more than a bitcoin for free.

Most of the early investors and developers still have massive bitcoin holdings which is not good for mass adoption and price growth.

Owning one bitcoin might seems really exciting but if you are small investor you will always have a fear of lossing too much during massive dump and if you try to time the market you will end up lossing more.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do cryptocurrencies diversify each other? on: January 22, 2020, 07:31:11 AM
You have tried to touch a great topic on crypto niche although i dont think there is much benefit with diversifying your investment in bunch of cryptos regardless of the sector that crypto is in. Like you said all crypto will just follow bitcoin price during any huge movement just like how all US stock pump or dump altogether.

True Diversifying will be when you diversify your investment between Stocks, crypto, cash and real estate.
13  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are trading platforms a good way to start trading? Which ones are the best? on: January 22, 2020, 06:50:55 AM
Trading bots are expensive to operate if you are not planning to deal with big bankroll. For start learn trading using demo fund offerend by many platforms out there. Even though etoro is not a true crypto trading platform you can use their demo fund to practice trading in any market including crypto.

Dont put anything in trading that you cant afford to loss.
14  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 127 Bitcoin (cryptocurrency) Exchange Sites: The Ultimate List on: January 22, 2020, 04:19:50 AM
As i have worked with designing lots of sites before there are few suggestions i would like to give you rather than commenting in your article.

In homepage there is just one newsletter signup page (in mobile) you should redisgn it and include blog posts.
In article include referral links so that you can keep your site afloat

Look for keywords in the niche and try to create content with the high demand keyword with less competition to get more search traffic. Use ubersuggest or ahrefs for this.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have anyone come across this? Whether it is a true currency or fake one....? on: January 22, 2020, 03:18:54 AM
Lol no comparision with bitcoin at all.
You cant compare gold with a piece of paper with numbers in it and its not a US dollar so looks like your frnd is a kid.

There are bunch of african countries where government keep printing fiats with big numbers everyday without any reserve metals or foreign currency backing it because of high inflation rate. The above fiat also resemble one of those countries...
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OMG !!! Disaster for BitCoin... Who Stole all of PETER SCHIFF's Bitcoins ??? on: January 22, 2020, 01:53:10 AM

17  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: DISCUSS - Search for private keys and get huge bonuses on: January 19, 2020, 01:01:07 PM
After few digging into the puzzle specially the first part seems quite difficult
"First 21 digit prime found in consecutive digits of e"

Similar puzzle was done by google in past but with first 10 digit prime and following are the links where that puzzle was solved, these links might give clue for someone trying to solve this riddle;
https://www.jsoftware.com/papers/play211.htm
http://explorepdx.com/firsten.html

I think only solving this part won't be enough to get those 2 Bitcoin, answer of this might be than should be used as password to login into Phemex account where you can see 2 BTC.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best methods for sending BTC with low fees? on: January 19, 2020, 10:19:41 AM
Fee is already low for bitcoin so unless you are using some wallet where they take out small commision from transaction fee or you are using exchange wallet as bitcoin wallet there is no need to care about fee right now. But during network congestion using fee suggested by blockchain wallet or for better privacy electrum wallet will make sure your transaction will go through.

Wrapped btc (wbtc) on eth chain can be alternative when bitcoin network is congested.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Blockchain-based Reddit alternative? on: January 19, 2020, 02:46:43 AM
Steemit
Publish0x

Are two platforms but rather than being alternative to reddit they are medium clones where you post articles.
Havent seen any true blockchain based reddit alternatives so far, any clones that might come up in future will just have their own token for upvote or to credit creators rather than publishing content on true blockchain because it will be very expensive to run and space consuming.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Trading Experience on BigONE exchange. on: January 19, 2020, 02:32:19 AM
Havent heard about them before and when i check with firefox mobile i find little bit design glitches on few pages also chart not loading.

The dual mining thing seem interesting but return seems too good to be true.
