Hello, I’m Tina! I’m an Illustrator, Graphic Designer and Creative Expert residing in the lively city of Montreal, Canada. I graduated from Concordia University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design. Since then, I’ve dedicated my life to producing great art and design solutions for my clients and myself. I strive to inspire by producing meaningful art. I value above all collaboration, authenticity, honesty and transparency. I love being in nature, travelling, trying out new technology and contemplating the meaning of life. I also speak French and English fluently, and I can hold a conversation in Spanish.

Accepting Bitcoin Payments - Cheers!

I have a few more questions if you don't mind:

• I heard that bitcoin stored on a computer can get hacked. How common is it, and is it a big risk?
• How easy is it to transfer bitcoin from one hard drive to another? What happens if there's hard drive failure; you lose everything? Can they be stored on a USB key as well for instance?
• I was recommended Bitpay on a reddit thread - what do you think of this service?

Hello! I'm an illustrator and graphic designer looking to expand my business by accepting bitcoin payments. I've heard a lot about it but I'm not sure where to start.

What are the best services I can use as a creative consultant and freelancer to accept and most safely manage bitcoins? Once I get paid and accumulate a sum, as needed, is it possible exchange easily the money to another currency? What sort of fees should I expect? What are the benefits of keeping your bitcoins in bitcoins rather than exchange them in USD or CAD? Also, what mainstream services accept bitcoins?
