Dems getting into power will be bullish for crypto. Polls are showing the socialists are set to take the whitehouse. Higher taxes, more regulation and take from the rich to give to themselves. The money will flow fast into crypto.
South of the border 4 years ago the pollsters had it wrong. Bitcoin is pumping because the polls are showing a Biden win, in my personal opinion the Republicans will show up on the 3rd November to seal the victory and bitcoin price will deflate. While the Soviet Union is no more, no one sorted out the education system which still has Marxist ideology embedded . In 1984 this guy had it right but more Americans are awake to what's going on. I am also going to stop posting because it does not help and we can't reach Rijk anymore to raise our concerns. The stress is also making me sick and depressed. I will chat on slack sometimes. You sound like someone who invested their life savings into this coin, if you can't stomach ups and downs in the market then use DCA tactic. Buy what you can afford each month and make sure it doesn't affect your quality of life. I purchased coins a week ago and the price is down, no stress because i didn't bust the bank, if it goes to zero then tough shit it was my mistake. When you invest in a project you take the risk. Why did I invest in Gulden, because the developers kept their promises and developed what they said they would. |

With Gulden, BTC and ETH I do DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging), it's the safest way to invest. This month I will buy Gulden and ETH but will skip bitcoin. It's the safest way to accumulate coins and tokens. The Dutch market is small compared to other coins and assets going for the Chinese market but when the Dutch or Euro market wakes up to crypto I know Gulden will be one of the obvious choices for Europe.
Patience is they key.

A lot of big tech companies censor people if they feel those people are doing a lot of harm to their brand and image. Google has banned Alex Jones recently.

Do you hold a lot of Gulden, I don't hold enough to get that involved , it will change if the price drops below 400 sat. I own enough, but Gulden is only a small part of my portfolio, so I could care less atm. I don't believe for 1 second that people are censored from slack without good reason.

You register on the official slack and ask any one of these legit questions: - "Can we get insight into the remaining part of the premine, an address perhaps?" - "Can you tell us what is left of the 650 BTC the community paid in return for "shares" that you later described as just BTC traded for Gulden from that premine?" - "Are there any records of funds spend this far on development, including salaries of the team?" - "In October 2016 Rijk lend over 4 million Gulden out to Nocks due to their "low supply" in the big rally. How was that paid back and to whom?" I know the outcome already, but I think it would be a good learning curve for you! I couldn't care less because Rijk owes me nothing and I owe him nothing. In some of the ICOs I have invested in I know the risks and those devs are getting 100% of the funding. I have also invested in scams and lost money but I have also invested in ETH at $3 and made enough money to waste time to reply to this thread. None of the investors who invested in ETH cared about the funding aslong as the projects were delivered. What I am seeing here is blind hatred like Trump gets from the communists here in the USA. I don't care if they remove bittrex but I would like some reassurances that a USD pairing will come to Nocks or Gulden will be useless to me in the US.
Bittrex volumes is not close to Nocks volumes these days. Nocks currently has over 400% more volume. Bittrex will give traders 30 days to sell their Gulden or withdraw. I have seen this with other coins.

to believe anything a small group of anonymous trolls on a forum say is possibly the dumbest thing you could do , you dont know who they are or what their agenda is , it should be obvious that they will tell any lie and twist any thing if it means they can insult rijk, they take things obviously out of context if you still believe them then there is something really wrong with you I know Richpissman is a dumbass but some people have posted conversations from Rijk in here that give a bad impression. Are these out of context like CNN does here in the USA to Donald Trump to paint him in a bad way. wont comment on trump but yes they take a small part of a conversation , with a bad translation and post it without the rest of the conversation then make up a back story that isnt really what happened , never trust anonymous forum trolls Thanks, it's exactly what CNN and MSM does to Trump because he is a hard working president and the far left hate him for that. I can empathize with Rijk wholeheartedly in this case and he has my respect for the work he has done to get Gulden this far. The anti marketing rhetoric from the Gulden team must come to an end, to have coins like namecoin above it in marketcap who have stopped development but still have a community willing to market it shows that the negative sentiment from a good team can have disastrous results on it's potential.

One of the problems is business confidence under the Trump administration has returned and people are feeling good about the current system, if Clinton had won the slow globalist decline of the US and the rest of the West would of caused more investment into cryptos. It's looks pretty obvious to me that money is flowing back into the normal markets.

The unintended consequences of witnessing rewards and possible solutions.
I wanted to wait a week after witnessing had started to confront this issue that most PoS coins suffer from and what makes DASH successful with it's masternode rewards. Witnessing from a technical stand point is a marvel that I would agree with most trolls has gone without much recognition outside of the gulden community. PoW2 has made Gulden the most secure block chain in crypto against a 51% attack because you need to have 70% of the total witness coins and mining power to perform one.
Where is the problem?
There is less incentive for gulden users to buy coins as they start to earn witness rewards. I have seen the same problem with coins that switch to PoS or a hybrid version of PoS and the community assumes with less dumping from miners there will be more buying pressure. This cannot be further from the truth.
The bittrex buy orders have shrunk to 4 btc at the lowest satoshi price Gulden has had in recent memory. Under normal circumstance users would be buying these prices up.
Why Dash can maintain a high value
Dash's PoW reward has decreased to 1.6 coins per block every 2.5 minutes with a growing base of users. It's simple economics.
What will Gulden developers be forced to do before the end of the year as despair takes hold of all the users?
The gulden developers will need to ask themselves this question...
Is the amount of new daily users enough to maintain a respectable price in the future with a PoW reward of 80?
There is a few options on the table if the answer is no.
1. Introduce a PoW reward reduction at certain intervals in order for demand to match supply and eventually for demand to surpass supply. A rising price is free marketing.
2. A valuable, penetrative and ongoing marketing campaign.
3. Approach businesses to make use of the Gulden block chain.
4. All of the above.

I believe you can't let short term trends dictate your every move, if 1% of the Netherlands wants to Witness there won't be nearly enough supply to meet that demand. Already over 10% of the supply is in witness accounts with NO marketing. The team will need to lower the requirements for witnessing as the value of Gulden increases. 5000 to 1000 and more in the future if Europe takes to Gulden. |

Well done m8. Now you have officially more coins then me because i did not dare to buy more. Gulden to the moon but i still do not like Rijk and the way he does / acts The more I investigate the history of Gulden the more I believe the people who don't trust them are most likely the same types who believe the earth is flat.  Luckily Gulden is not only Rijk because then i would have dumped my 100.000+ coins a long time ago. In a strange way i trust Rijk but i do not like how he communicates and handles things. There could be another way that is more nice and more productive i think that is my only problem i have with him. @the end of the month give ppl an update (good for trust in coin) For your info: I believe the earth is a square and is ruled by aliens Rijk has stuck with the coin from the beginning, Steve Jobs wasn't loved for his bedside manners. |

Are you going to recommend Gulden to your friends and family? I recommended ... shame on me ! Now I recommend it to Rijk Family I tell kids who I don't like to invest in the G to the n. Hi Krusty, I will share my full experiance with people, both the upside and the downside of the coin. On the basis of that they should make their own judgement. I do believe that the coin has several strengths, they have a solid and easy to use app with a growing number of merchants within the Benelux region that are accepting the coin. There is a development team that has done some updates in the past, hope they can conclude the bigger projects as well, Nocks which is very closely related with Gulden will be adding new exchanges along with Gulden Trader which will also do the same, moreover, many of the users of Gulden have opened up Gulden associated company/ blog further increasing the potential of the coin. I think the downsides that I have seen with Gulden have previously been stated. For now, personally, I will be steering clear of this coin, should the update come out, I might pump a bit. Who is Waterloodown, zonefan said we should speak to him. I didn't see a Waterloodown on slack. A few years ago he was appointed as community manager... Haven't heard much from him since like... 2-3 years? He is a cousin of MaNi (he brought MaNi on board). The coins value was much lower 2-3 years ago, since he left the price has gone up higher every year. Rijk finally getting a compliment from you? We almost have our bags fill before the update, no more point creating FUD. Gulden is a great coin. Will post again after the 2.0 update and wish the team good luck!! As I see this, NLG not showing the same uptrend at the moment is a very good sign, especially for future investors. If you search for a long term investment coin, which one would you trust more: The one which has nearly the identical chart like bitcoin with high volatility with often no apparent reason or the one which keeps at a constant value while no big news are available? Keep in mind that if an asset reacts intensely to good news it will most likely do so for bad news too. I myself am content with NLG not being the same rollercoaster on the markets as most other coins. No one cares about anything but the PoW2 and SegSig release, if you want the trend to change upwards we all have to wait on the developers to produce what they promised. Life is real unfair and gulden is on the bottom of the unfair scale. What if all the other coins were held to the same standard with development? |

and if you look how many people download G-dash (to be able to do witness) untill today 123 in the world ! is less than nothing.

Most of the 600 btc was collected when btc was under $1000 and converted to Euros according to conversations on the other slack. The company was created for tax reasons because of the premine and this places Gulden in a good position when regulation comes and all governments are starting to look at regulation. Development has been the worst from when the coin started in 2014,in 2017 nothing was done because SegSig was added to PoW2 which was almost ready for release, a lot of people in the telegram group are angry about SegSig because it should of had it's own development and not combined with PoW2. Read this for the worst day in Gulden history.
