Swell idea, why didn't Zimbabwe think of that? Cause we all know, all it takes for a failed corrupt autocratic economy is to create its own national payment card (not accepted anywhere in the world), it's own SWIFT (not recognized by anyone) and its own rating agency (with the reputation similar to that of Pravda and RT) and right away all problems will disappear and they will become the financial capital of the world LOL

He had a lot of restraint last night when asked if he had the temperament to be President based on what he said about a woman who looks best on her knees. I mean, Bill Clinton really got oral sex from Monica in the oval office, and is Hilarys husband, and you want him voted back in, in a way via Hilary. The difference is a socialist is someone who tells the truth about their position. Say what you want about Sanders but as unhonest politicians go he is probably one of the better ones and maybe telling the truth 10% of the time.

You don't seem to mind intolerance when the intolerants are with you. Instead of merely taking their business elsewhere this lesbian couple opted instead for the most punitive vengeful path possible. True Old Testament stuff.
The fact is this bakery had served this lesbian couple many times in the past (it's why this particular shop was chosen though Portland is filled with bakeries). So these bakers had no problem with homosexuality, per se.
They had a problem with actively being forced to participate (albeit tangentially) in a ceremony their religion did not

This is an interesting news item. There is no question that our per capita rate of imprisonment leads the world by a huge margin and that it has been that way for decades. If Obama follows through with some real actions that POTUS can do, then it will mean something. Otherwise it seems like only lip service.

The gun used in the recent San Francisco shooting was stolen from it's owner's car. Since there are no federal laws requiring gun owners to safely lock up their guns when not in use, a thief was easily able to steal them. The gun was then sold in a private sale to Ms. Steinle's murderer. Since there are no universal background check laws, an illegal immigrant with a felony record was able to buy the gun, when he could have easily been stopped by a background check.
