Monero maintains a strong community and real-world use case but faces more external risks (regulatory, network security). It’s still a viable choice for those seeking privacy and willing to accept higher volatility. Bitcoin is better. Dash too.

Marketing vs. Reality.
Gambling success stories—like the legendary tale of Fred Smith, FedEx’s founder who reportedly saved his company by gambling in Las Vegas—are rare but are prominently featured in ads.
Casinos and gambling platforms regularly advertise big winners to inspire others to play, while losses and failures are downplayed or ignored, creating an unrealistic picture of gambling outcomes.
Many point out these stories serve as marketing strategies, does not representative experiences.

Setting kMasterKey.nDeriveIterations to at least 25,000 if it's lower—were introduced in Bitcoin version 0.4.0 to enforce a minimum security level in the wallet encryption process. This means any wallet.dat file created or rewritten with v0.4.0 or later will always have at least 25,000 key derivation iterations recorded inside. If the count is less, it's very likely either from an earlier version, is corrupted, or is not a legitimate file.

Learning Bitcoin is inherently a multidisciplinary endeavor. To fully understand Bitcoin and its ecosystem, one needs to integrate knowledge from several different fields, including:
Technology & Computer Science: Bitcoin is built on cryptographic principles and blockchain technology. Understanding its consensus mechanisms, wallet security, mining process, and smart contracts requires a solid foundation in computing and programming.
Economics & Finance: Grasping Bitcoin’s monetary policy, scarcity, market dynamics, and its role as an alternative asset involves economic theory, supply and demand, game theory, and financial analysis.
Mathematics: Bitcoin relies on cryptography, which uses advanced mathematical algorithms for security, transaction verification, and digital signatures.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are designed to be irreversible. Once a payment is sent and confirmed, it cannot be undone by any party (including the sender, receiver, or the network itself). Any refund must be voluntarily initiated by the recipient.

Dopamine rush not just from wins but from anticipation and unpredictability.Game design features (like near-misses in slots) that trick the brain into feeling it is always “close to winning.”False beliefs in becoming rich through gambling or being influenced by others’ wins.Emotional factors, where gambling is used as a coping mechanism for other life issues.

Shipping people off to Rwanda and “Closing the borders” was totally unethical. That’s why rather than closing the borders, they need to try to resolve the issue with other European countries and come to some sort of agreement with the mentioned people so that it doesn't get overpopulated but there would be still a fair amount of immigration to Britain and they do their part in rehoming people.
There is a fairly good stand point to have for someone who is anti immigration, but still it is flawed. What happens if a family comes over and one person passes whilst the other fails.
The answer to this is, if one member of the family passed and the rest failed then the one that passed should be given British citizenship and ask rest of the family to comeback for retest from their home country(assuming the one that passed is under 18).
Closing the boarders is what it says on the agenda, refusing to allow immigration and the deportation of any illegals past a certain date is to be discouraged. Deporting people is a major issue. Reaching an agreement with Europe then they should need to reenact the Rwanda plan.

For a bitcoin enthusiast, their primary goal is to see bitcoin reaching 1 million. Hardly, there is any demand from small countries. Once people living in such countries widely accept bitcoin legally then there would be influx of regulations and laws across this coin. Legality also mean that there would be criminalisation for scammers, and whoever breaks the law. Many small nations don't have the infrastructure to jail criminals engaged in these unlawful activities beyond trading and investingments.

Credit or debit cards incur high fees but provide ease to buy. If you'e using international websites then there is a forex conversion rate.
Debit cards work like credit cards in one of these websites.

Best way is to toggle the seed phrase till the words that appear on the screen are familiar. Tougher the words harder is to remember going by your sense of storing passphrase.
E.g - Rat Yatch Car Nickle is easier to remember than Parallax Horizon Palladium etc.

The statue has just been stolen: The @satoshigallery team are offering 0.1 BTC to whoever provides useful informations to recover the statue. Probably some dumb morons who think there’s ‘sOmE oF tHoSe BiTc0rNz InSiD3 What a shame, hope it is found and returned ASAP. Maybe the person stole that is so damn broke and think about that there's hidden code attach inside on which he or they could get lots Bitcoins in that statue. hahaha! So instead of buying and stashing some sats for himself he decided the best option was to steal the statue of Satoshi in the expectation of a possible hidden codes or seed phrases to a wallet inside the statue?! Does he think that those that built that statue in honour of Satoshi would be so dumb to even think of nursing such idea, how much more doing it. Let's hope they recover the statue promptly and in good shape. It's always people vs people problem. Forget about frequently visited parks, even homes boundaries aren't secured from thiefs.

Quite misleading while it comes to rewards. There's hardly anything in signup bonus. I would recommended the most trusted ones out of the vast ocean of exchanges.

In our field if you can make long term predictions then you wouldn't call it volatile really, because you can predict what it is going to do exactly from a couple to a year up front sometimes even years up front. It only looks volatile to people who aren't sure what they are doing. (Yes technically by literal definition it is and has been but who cares about technicalities). You could entirely very safely predict that when regulations would go through BTC will go into chaos while ETH would draw power from it just because why they are both used. (BTC would only stand if they make it something more).

If a governments powers originate from its people, then it is up to the citizens of said government to surrender or retain powers from their government. Are societies of men really capable of establishing good government from reflection and choice, or whether they are forever destined to depend for the political constitutions on accident and or, in some cases, force.
In my opinion, as a Liberal, I think that the vigour of government is essential to the security of liberty in Societes. Those men who have overturned the liberties of republics, the greatest number have started their careers as a obsequious member of the people, and commencing their careers as demogougs, ending tyrants.
In the span of history, citizens of all societies give up powers to their government. But you would be hard pressed to find instances of the government relinquishing powers attained or retained back to the people after they have been given up.

Yeah the normans invaded from the south which is probably what you're thinking of, but that doesn't mean that the southern english are similar to the french any more than the average english person. Textbooks on human geography, southern england (not a whole, parts of it) had a uniquely French Atmosphere retained from the days of the norman nobility, opposed to the more Saxon background of Northumbria. From New England, some of the most educated people on earth, are afflicted with map blindness.

UK is lowering its voting age to 16 and banning all porn sites. Merely an age where they become an undergrad. UK living will be costly.

AI is purely being used to influence people at mass which were already being influenced with other media tools. There is nothing meaningful coming out so AI is pretty much garbage as of now. If you are following AI development you would know that it can turn coins into money but nothing more, purely a tech gig.
